A man and a woman just bumped into each other.

They were stranger, and they had never once met before.

“I’m sorry.” The girl bowed slightly as she picked his phone up, which dropped onto the ground due to the bump. “I didn’t watch where I was going.”

The boy took his phone and was about to leave, not even bothering to take a look at the girl, but with a side glance, he saw her perfect features.

He stopped his tracks at once and grabbed her wrist, “It’s okay.”

The girl was surprised at the sudden touch, but she managed to compose it, pushing his hand away gently, “Well… I have to go now. I’m sorry.”

He moved to her front to block her way, stopping her, “It’s my fault, actually. I was looking at my phone.”

The girl sent him a smile and bowed again, attempting to leave, but the guy blocked her way again, “I’m Jongin, but people call me Kai. What’s your name?”

“I’m Jiyeon, Park Jiyeon.”

*ASSA!* He knew he had caught her attention, since she was finally stopping her attempts to escape. “Right. Jiyeon. It’s a nice name.”

Jiyeon let a shy smile out and tucked her hair behind her ear, “Thank you.”

“Hmm… If you’re free, would you like to take a coffee break with me? Let me repay you for bumping into you.”

Jiyeon thought about it and finally nodded her head, “I guess… I do have some time.”

“Great. I know a great coffee house!”

Jiyeon giggled and followed him, walking by his side to the coffee house he said. It wasn’t far too. They talked more, and realized they had so many things in common.

They loved jazz and R&B music, rather than hip-hop and rap. They find rap too noisy.

They loved cake rather than bread, because it was too dry.

And a lot more.

Kai found a seat and pushed Jiyeon down to the seat before standing by her side, “What do you want to drink? I’ll get it for you.”

“Hmm… Iced latte, thank you!”

“Me too!” Kai exclaimed and they high-fived each other, before he walked over to the counter.

Jiyeon giggled and turned her head to look around the café, “Wow… It looks so nice here.” She eyed the customer on the next table and looked at the cups on the table, “It must be so expensive…”

Kai returned with two cups in his hands and passed one to her, “What are you looking at?”

Jiyeon faced him and looked at the cup in front of her, “It must be expensive right?”

“This drink? It’s not. It’s only 14,000 won.” (USD13.27)

“14,000 won?!” Jiyeon widened her eyes and looked at him, “It’s so expensive…”

“It’s fine. Just drink it.” Kai smiled and pushed the cup to her. *She must be a poor kid.*

Jiyeon smiled and mumbled a ‘thank-you’ to him before taking the coffee over. “It’s so yummy!”

Kai smiled and pushed his phone to her, “Then we can come often!”

Jiyeon looked at his phone and blinked innocently at it, “Are you asking for my number now?”

“Of course! Isn’t it obvious? We can be friends right?” That made him laughed instead. *She’s quite cute.*

“Okay~” Jiyeon keyed in her number, and Kai sent her back to her apartment, since she was heading home at the first place.

They met up a few times after, since Kai insisted. They met during the day most of the time, and Kai sent her back to her apartment.

Why?

Because Kai would be at the club at night.

He was a playboy.

He was a rich playboy.

He flirted with every woman he saw, and he would always win them over.

He bedded lots of women before, and it was all one-night stands.

Of course, the girls were willing too.

“Ji! Come out! I have something to say!” Jiyeon lived in a rooftop apartment, so he wouldn’t disturb others at all.

Jiyeon wore her shoes and got out from her apartment. Yes, she lived alone. Her parents left her when she was young, and left her with that rooftop apartment. Thank goodness the apartment was theirs or Jiyeon would have to pay for the rental fees too. All she had to work is for her expenses and utilities. “Jongin oppa?”

Kai smiled and pulled her out, grabbing her shoulders once he settled them down on the small wooden bench outside her apartment. “Ji.”

“Yeah?”

“I have something to say.”

Jiyeon looked at him and blinked innocently, “And...?”

“Well… Okay.” Kai took a deep breath and smiled brightly, “Here goes nothing. I like you.”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and looked at him in surprised, “M-Me…?”

“Yes, Ji. Ever since that day I met you. I love you.” Kai confessed, “I really do. Will you be mine?”

Jiyeon smiled shyly and grabbed the sides of his shirt, “I love you too, Jongin oppa.”

Kai smiled lovingly and pulled her closer by grabbing her face, “Thank you, Ji. Thanks for accepting me.” He leaned in closer and pecked her lips.

After a peck, he felt like he needed more so he deepened the kiss.

They finally pulled away after out of breath, and Jiyeon was already red. “Oppa~”

Kai poked her cheeks and giggled lightly, “Don’t tell me this is your first kiss?”

“It is…”

“AOOO! YES!” He cheered happily and pumped his fist into the air, “I’VE GOT YOUR FIRST KISS!”

Jiyeon giggled happily and pulled him back, “It’s embarrassing, oppa!”

Kai pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly, “Thank you, Ji~ I love you!”

“I love you too, oppa~” Jiyeon hugged him back equally tight and he rocked their body about.

Jiyeon had been enjoying the time with him. She had savoured every moment with him, and she had fallen deeper into his traps.

On the other hand, Kai went out with her for about a month, and he finally couldn’t take it. He brought her up to his apartment one night.

He asked her up, stating he would cook for her since he wanted to do it, and she agreed. Jiyeon went up to his apartment, and of course, she was so surprised by it.

It was so elegant, and so huge.

Not that she doesn’t know he was rich, but she doesn’t know he was that rich.

“Wait there, baby. I’ll cook now!” Kai placed her on the couch, and walked to the kitchen. But Jiyeon followed him to the kitchen instead.

“Oppa, let me help!”

Kai smiled and moved a little over, “What do you want to help with? Can you even cook?”

Jiyeon frowned at his tease and brought the knife over, “Of course I can! I’ll cut the vegetables up!” And she started washing it before cutting it into pieces.

Kai smiled as he saw how serious she was, and sneaked up to her. “How’s the vege doing?”

Of course she was surprised.

And she cut herself by accident. “AH!”

Kai grew horrified, and at that moment he could feel his heart almost stopped beating. *Weird…* But he ignored that feeling and took her finger over to the blood out, “Didn’t I say you’re not the cooking type?”

Jiyeon lowered her head with an obvious pout on her face, “I’m sorry…”

Kai pushed her head up and leaned in, pecking her lips twice, “It’s fine.”

Their eyes met, and Kai just couldn’t take it anymore. He kissed her, deepened the kiss, and brought her up, hooking her legs around his waist.

“Oppa…” She was breathless when they pulled away, and Kai smiled at her red cheeks. She never seemed to stop blushing.

“Baby, be mine tonight?”

Jiyeon giggled and buried her head into the crook of his neck, “I’m already yours, oppa.”

Kai cheered and ran to his bedroom, and made love to her that night.

That was how Jiyeon thought.

But Kai was just enjoying her ity.

Jiyeon woke up to an empty bed beside her the next morning, with him leaving a note on the side table only.

“I’m out. –Kai”

It was short and cold.

Jiyeon took the note and frowned as she wrapped the blanket around her. “Is oppa okay?” Nonetheless, she dressed up first, before thinking about anything else.

After getting her senses back, she decided to wait for Kai to return since he didn’t pick up her calls, or reply her messages.

He did return, but only at night.

Not alone, but with another girl in his arms.

“Oppa?”

Kai spotted her in the living room and raised a brow, “You’re still here?”

“Oppa, I was waiting for you.” Jiyeon walked up to them, grabbing his arm, “Who is she, oppa?”

“She’s a one-night stand, baby.” Kai smirked and yanked her hands off, “Just like you~” They walked into the bedroom, but Jiyeon grabbed his arm again.

“Oppa! What do you mean by that?”

The girl got pissed and pushed her away, “He means you guys are over! One night stand! Got it?” She turned to Kai and kissed him deeply, “Let’s go in now, handsome~”

Kai followed her and ignored the crying Jiyeon.

The poor girl left the apartment, not wanting to be further humiliated.

After that day, she had not contact Kai. She missed him so much, but she would never contact that jerk again.

She blamed herself for falling in love with a jerk, for falling into the traps of a playboy. She was mad, she was so upset, because she lost her ity to a playboy.

“Oppa… How could you…?” She cried herself to sleep almost every night. Even though she was in that state, she continued going to work.

She still has to work for her own expenses.

With that, Jiyeon lived the same routine for the next 6 weeks.

But her body started to go haywire.

She started to get nauseous in the morning, and her appetite turned bigger. With her savings, she decided to go to the doctors instead of suffering further.

No matter how she hated her life, she wouldn’t end it easily, because her parents gave her that.

She waited patiently for her report, and was finally being called in. “Park Jiyeon!”

“I’m here!” Jiyeon walked into the consultation room and sat opposite the doctor, “Jiyeon-ssi?”

“Yes, dr.”

“Are you married?”

“No… Why?”

“Because your baby needs a father.”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and pressed her palm against her tummy unconsciously, “Baby…?”

“You’re pregnant, Jiyeon-ssi. It’s been 6 weeks.”

“Pregnant…” She couldn’t believe it.

“You’re currently doing well, but please take care of your body okay? You have to return for a check up next month too.”

By the look on her face, the doctor knew it was nothing good. “Are you probably thinking… of an abortion?”

Jiyeon hugged her tummy and shook her head vigorously, “No! I won’t hurt my baby!”

“That’s good. Every life is a gift, Jiyeon-ah. I’m glad you’re strong.”

“Thank you, Dr.” Jiyeon stood up, took the report and went out, heading back to her apartment. She had no idea what to do. She had no more expenses for her baby. She had no idea how to take care of her baby. Nobody would be there to help her.

“Oppa…” Kai returned to her mind at once.

With no other choices, she took the report and ran out of her apartment, running all the way down to his apartment.

But even before she could reach his apartment, she spotted Kai turning down the corner, into the streets.

Jiyeon ran towards him, and finally spotted him walking to his car which was parked nearby. “Oppa!” She grabbed his arm and blocked his way. “Oppa!”

Kai rolled his eyes and yanked her hands away, making her stumbled back in surprise. “Oppa… I’m pregnant! You have to marry me! I can’t support our baby alone!”

Kai was surprised at her news, but he wouldn’t give in easily. Of course, he was a playboy. “What the hell are you talking about?”

Jiyeon cried and grabbed his arm again, preventing from leaving.

By then, a mini crowd had formed.

“Oppa! You took my first, and got me pregnant! We loved each other, didn’t we?”

Kai noticed the fingers pointing at him, and he grew mad. He pushed her away and she landed on the ground, helpless and upset.

“What the hell are you talking about?! You’re always clinging on me and even separated my girlfriend and me! I didn’t even sleep with you! How could you?! You’re always pushing yourself on me! You’re the !”
