Extra: I want a touching story. Make Jiyeon remember Luhan whenever she is with Myungsoo. Make Jiyeon cry a lot when her mom & Luhan died.

“Omma… Why are you touching the wall when you walk?” The 7 year old girl, who was oblivious to what happened to her mother, voiced her thoughts out innocently.

“Jiyeon-ah…”

The small girl ran over to her mother when she called for her and grabbed onto her leg, “Omma…”

“Can Jiyeon bring omma to the sofa?”

Jiyeon did as told and brought her mother to the sofa obediently, and safely. Her mother kept her right in her arms, and patted her back slightly as they sat there in comfort silence.

Jiyeon had her eyes on her mother the whole time.

She noticed how her mother’s eyes looked so distant, and watery. “Omma… Are you okay?”

“Jiyeon-ah, listen to omma, hmm?”

Jiyeon nodded her head against her chest, and the adult knew she was listening, “Jiyeon-ah. Actually… Omma is ill. Omma can’t see anymore. There’s something in my head and prevented me from seeing. My eyes are blind now, Jiyeon-ah.”

Jiyeon didn’t like to hear it one bit.

“What do you mean, omma?”

“It means… Omma can’t see you now, Jiyeon-ah. I’m sorry.”

Jiyeon finally got it into her head, and she let out a loud sob. Her mother cradled her tightly in her arms, and they cried the whole night together.

When Jiyeon woke up the next morning, she ran to the kitchen at once and tried to make some breakfast for her mother.

She saw how she did it before, and of course, she could follow it perfectly.

The breakfast was done, since it was simple toasts, and Jiyeon brought it over to the coffee table in the living room. She went to her mother’s bedroom and woke her up for breakfast.

At the beginning, her mother was mad she even stepped into the kitchen when she was clearly told not to, but Jiyeon was a stubborn kid.

She ignored her scolding and made every breakfast for her mother.

Her mother gave up in the end, and allowed her little daughter to take care of her. Fortunately, she had some savings before she quitted her job, so they had expenses until Jiyeon turned 12.

She went out to look for part time job, since she was studying, and worked her hearts out for her mother, and herself.

She had no regrets and she never once thought her mother was her burden, even when the adult said so.

All these years, Jiyeon remained happy, and she grew accustomed to the daily life of hers.

She was contented she could live with her mother, and she was contented with her simple life.

“Jiyeon-ah… You’re back?”

“Yes, omma!”

Her mother let out a wide grin as her daughter hugged her tightly, “How are you today, omma?!”

“As usual.”

“Hmmm~  But not anymore since I’m back!” Jiyeon giggled and pushed a bun to her mother’s face, “Isn’t it warm, omma? I’ve got it for you!”

Her mother had a even wider grin on her face at that moment. “You don’t have to, Ji. Why would you waste money on this?!”

“It’s not a waste of money, omma!” Jiyeon took the wrapper of the bun and passed it to her mother again, “Ja~ Eat it, omma!”

Her mother took the bun and took a bite, “It’s warm.”

“Of course. I’ve tried my best to make it warm the way back!” Jiyeon giggled and walked towards the dining table while hugging her mother’s arm, “Have you eaten the food I’ve left for you, hmm? I shall inspect it now!”

Jiyeon saw the cleaned dining table and the cleaned kitchen instead. “Omma…”

Her mother giggled playfully and took another bite of her bun, “I didn’t listen again, Ji. I’m sorry~”

“Seriously. I’ve told you to wait for me to clean the kitchen. You would have hurt yourself, omma.” Jiyeon sighed sadly, but her mother pushed the other half of the bun to , making her smile again.

“You nag a lot, daughter. Just eat it.”

Jiyeon scoffed playfully and took the bun, obediently. “You’ll regret giving it to me, omma!”

“Then return it to me!” Her mother tried to take it back, but Jiyeon shoved it to , “NO RETURNS!”

Her mother could only laugh happily at her actions then.

“Oh right. Ji, your birthday is coming up!”

“I know~ It’s a month away.”

“You should celebrate it with your friends.”

“Nah~ You know it too, omma. I don’t like those kind of gatherings.” Jiyeon giggled, but her mother sighed sadly.

“But it’s your 16th birthday. You don’t have to think of me all the time, daughter. I am fine alone. I can do well on my own too.”

“Omma.” Jiyeon grew stern again, “You know I don’t mean it like this.”

“I know, I know.” Her mother smiled in the end and hugged her tightly, “I’m sorry, my daughter.”

“Don’t be. Omma, you know I love you, right?”

Her mother laughed in the end and patted her back lightly, “I know. I love you too, daughter.”

That was how they lived ever since. They were contented with their daily lives, and they were happy with each other by their side.

♥♥♥♥♥

“Bye, omma! I’m off to school!” Jiyeon shouted from the door, so her mother could hear since the latter was in the bathroom.

“Okay! Come back safely!”

“I will, omma! Don’t forget to eat the breakfast on the table! I’ll be back after school to make lunch and dinner, okay?!”

“Okay, okay. Just go, daughter!”

“Love you, omma!”

“Love you too~”

Jiyeon smiled and finally left the apartment. She walked her normal route to school, and went to her class as usual.

The lessons were normal like every single day, and she listened attentively to them.

She didn’t want her efforts to go on waste since she got into the school through scholarship. She worked hard for it, and she didn’t want to waste it at all.

She was a smart kid, indeed.

The lessons ended, for the morning half, and Jiyeon went to change for their physical lesson before heading off to the field.

Her teacher told them to do some warm up exercises before they were told to run around the field for a few rounds.

After which, they finally got to get involved with real games.

Jiyeon was participating as usual, and it was her favorite sport: dodgeball.

They were having fun for the first half of the game, but all of the sudden, Jiyeon could hear her name being called.

She turned around to look at the person who called her, but only to see a ball coming right into her face.

Of course, she was horrified and she stood still in that position for long.

And the next moment, she was being knocked out.

The guilty person who threw the ball at her brought her to the infirmary after talking to the teachers about it, and he was then told to be in the infirmary with her, to monitor her situation.

The guy sat by her side the whole time, as he looked at her features.

“Hao Piao Liang…” (So Pretty.)

The longer he looked at her, the wider his smile was.

Jiyeon started to stir, and her eyes opened slowly. The guy stood up at once and cupped her cheeks quickly, “Are you okay? Are you hurt?!”

Jiyeon groaned and tried to sit up on the bed. She did, with the help from the guy too. “Are you okay?”

Jiyeon finally tilted up and she got a shock instead. He was so beautiful in her eyes. Blood rushed up to her cheeks, and she could feel herself turning shy.

“Erm… I’m okay…”

The guy smiled and sighed deeply, “Fortunately… Is your head okay? It’s not hurting anymore?”

“It’s okay now…”

The guy noticed his hands still on her cheeks, and he quickly retreated his hands back to his sides. “I’m sorry…”

Jiyeon lowered her head shyly and shook it, “It’s okay…”

“Oh, by the way, I’m Xi Luhan!”

“I know…” Jiyeon bit her lips shyly, while pointing to his name-tag, and he laughed at his own silliness. “Right. And so you’re Park Jiyeon.”

Jiyeon giggled and nodded her head slightly, “And I’m from the junior class.”

“Well, I’m from the senior graduating class, and I’m actually from China.”

That surprised Jiyeon instead, and she had gaped. “No wonder you sounded different. But your Korean is so good!”

“Because I was here for two years already.”

“I see…”

They turned silent again, but they were stealing glances at each other secretly, yet shyly.

“Erm… I think we should go back now?”

“Right.” Luhan stood up from the chair and guided her down from the bed before bringing her back to her classroom.

“I’ll see you around again?”

“See you soon, Luhan-ssi.”

“Bye~” Luhan was reluctant to leave, but he did in the end.

They were sad to get separated, but fate was good to them. They met up again, the next day, in the cafeteria.

Jiyeon was looking for a seat, and Luhan waved her over at once, since he was alone.

They clicked immediately, and talked about all sorts of things.

And with that, they grew closer and closer, and they became close friends. Not long after, Luhan confessed that he was actually in love with her for a long time ever since they met, and Jiyeon confessed the same thing too.

And they got together.

Jiyeon would often bring him over to her house, and they would sit down together to do homework, or to have dinner together with her mother, when she did not have to work.

Otherwise, Luhan would be waiting for her at her workplace, since it was a café, and waited for her to finish working before bringing her back home.

Their relationship was pure, sweet, slow, and cute.

“Hannie!”

Luhan beamed and waved brightly, “Ji!” He was standing at the opposite side of the road. They agreed to meet at the junction, so they could head down to the amusement park for their one year anniversary date.

Luhan had so much in store for her, and he wanted to surprise her with so many things.

“Wait there! I’m coming over!” Luhan shouted, and Jiyeon nodded her head happily.

The road was clear, the traffic man turned green, and Luhan even looked left and right for incoming dangerous vehicles.

Coast cleared, and Luhan finally jogged over to Jiyeon.

However, things just weren’t how he imagined.

An incoming car turned from the junction, at high speed, and within seconds, Luhan was down onto the ground.

Blood flew down from his head, and covered his face horrifyingly.

Jiyeon had her heart stopped the whole time she witnessed it. Her smile turned into surprise, which in turned into hurt.

“HANNIE!!!!!!” She rushed out to the road, brought Luhan into her arms and cried madly against his head.

“HANNIE! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!”

Luhan remained lifeless in her arms, not even returning her the same smile he did before.

In just one second, he was down onto the ground.

Jiyeon never once felt so lost before. “WAKE UP! HANNIE! YOU PROMISED TO BRING ME OUT TODAY! HANNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

The guilt-ridden driver called for ambulance, and it came in no time.
