Pairing: Myungyeon

Plot: Jiyeon and Myungsoo are best friends. They have this relationship since they are still kiddie, 

Myungsoo and Jiyeon have crush on another person. Myungsoo help Jiyeon to approach this guy bcoz this guy is Myungsoo's friend, and Jiyeon did the same bcoz the girl is Jiyeon's friend. When they have their own relationship, their friendship becomes different. They’re not as close as before. And they feel there is something wrong with this. 

“Baby jiji!”

Jiyeon blinked at the guy who just called her, “Yes, Baby Soosoo?”

Myungsoo giggled as he walked over to her.

That’s their nickname for each other and only both could call each other that. Not even their parents were allowed to.

“I have something to say.”

Jiyeon smiled and turned bright red, “Well… I have something to say too.”

“Let’s go to the café we always go to, shall we? We can talk while eating!” Myungsoo beamed and tugged her wrist to the café, even before she replied.

Well, she wouldn’t refuse too.

The two were best friend ever since they were little. Myungsoo was just a year older than her, and he had been treating her like his own sister then.

Of course they would. They were neighbours so it was easy for them to be close. Moreover, their parents were friends too.

“2 Mocha Frapp without wipe cream.” Myungsoo ordered as Jiyeon stared at the cake on display. That was how well they knew each other. He knew what she wanted for the day. It always depended on her mood, and since she was happy that day, she got what she wanted.

“Want a cake too? Chocolate?”

Jiyeon shook her head with a pout on her lips, “I’m on diet…”

“You’re so skinny!” Myungsoo widened his jaw and eyed her body, “You should eat more!” He turned to the cashier and ordered a chocolate cake for her.

Jiyeon tried to cup his mouth but the cashier had keyed the order in already. She even chuckled at their interaction, “You two looked so cute!”

Myungsoo smiled and passed her the money, “Thanks~”

The cashier took it and giggled to herself. *Such a cute couple~*She handed him the change and told them to wait at the collection counter.

Jiyeon followed Myungsoo over and helped with the straws and utensils.

They found the table by the window and rushed over there at once, in case others would take it.

“Ahhh~ Finally I get to sit.”

Myungsoo laughed and passed the plate of cake to her, “Eat up, Jiji. My baby needs to eat~”

Jiyeon sighed and took a bite in defeat. Of course, she can’t seem to stop once she started which Myungsoo found it amusing, as always.

“You have chocolate on your lips now, pig.”

Jiyeon glared at him when he called her that and poked her tongue out playfully. “I’m not sharing!”

Myungsoo took a napkin and cleaned it off while chuckling at her behaviour, “Fine fine, just eat up.”

“Hmmm…” Jiyeon thought for a moment and took a mouth of cake for him then. “Soosoo has to eat too. My baby needs some snacks too.”

Myungsoo giggled before taking the cake into his mouth. “It’s yummy~”

“Right!” Jiyeon exclaimed happily and took another bite again. “Nom nom~” She ate her cake up quickly and pushed the plate to the side while patting her full tummy.

“Thank you, Soosoo baby~ I’m so full and fat now~”

Myungsoo laughed and wiped her lips again.

“Oh right! What do you want to say, soosoo?”

“Yes.” Myungsoo remembered their main objective they went to the café and leaned forward, trying to ‘whisper’ the secret to her.

“Jiji…”

Jiyeon leaned forward, as he spoke too soft.

“I like someone now.”

Jiyeon brightened up and blinked at him, “SERIOUSLY?!”

Myungsoo cupped at once and bowed apologetic at the other customers, who were sending them weird stares.

“Shhhh!”

Jiyeon giggled and lowered her head shyly, “Oopsie~ I was just curious, soosoo! Who’s that?!”

“Erm…” Myungsoo giggled as he thought of her, “She’s your friend actually. In your class. Soojin.”

“Soojin?! Baek Soojin?!”

“Yup. She’s pretty, isn’t it?”

Jiyeon smiled teasingly as her eyebrow wriggled, “Hohoho~ Someone’s in love~ Maybe I can help you, soosoo~”

Myungsoo rolled his eyes as a reply. “Oh! You have something to tell me too, don’t you?!”

Jiyeon grinned sheepishly while nodding her head slightly, “Well… I like someone too.”

“WHO THE HELL IS THAT UNLUCKY GUY?!”

Now it’s Jiyeon’s turn to cup his mouth to shut him up. “Soosoo!”

“Sorry.” Myungsoo laughed as he pulled her hands off his face. “I was too excited. Now I know how you felt~”

Jiyeon sighed and sat properly on her seat again.

“So…? Who’s that?!”

“Erm… He’s actually a senior.”

“In which class?!”

Jiyeon blinked rapidly as she smiled brightly at him.

“In my class?!”

She nodded her head slightly, to show that he answered it right.

“WOW! Who is that?!”

“Kyunggyu oppa.”

“Kyunggyu?! Kim Kyunggyu?!”

Jiyeon simply nodded her head with a shy smile. “He’s handsome and cool~”

“I can help you with him then.” Myungsoo smirked in victory, “He’s a close friend of mine.”

Jiyeon brightened up as she heard that. “Really? Does he have a girlfriend now?! You can introduce him to me?!”

“No, he doesn’t have a girlfriend and yes, I can introduce him to you.” Myungsoo ruffled her hair playfully.

“How about this? Let’s have a double date this weekend! I’ll call Kyunggyu out, and you’ll call Soojin.” Myungsoo sipped onto his drink as he thought of that great idea.

Of course, Jiyeon found it great too.

She nodded her head excitedly as she sipped onto her drink. “Deal! I like your idea, soosoo!”

“Of course.” He smirked in triumph and crossed his arms arrogantly, “I thought of great ideas all the time.”

“Psh.” Jiyeon scoffed and rolled her eyes playfully. “So where do we meet this weekend? Saturday? What time?!”

“Let’s go to the amusement park? It’s the common place for dates.” Myungsoo suggested, and Jiyeon agreed immediately.

“Then… For the time, let’s meet 10 outside the park on Saturday?”

“CALL!” Jiyeon took her hand out and Myungsoo took it at once. They did a handshake to make the deal and beamed widely.

“Tell them the objective okay? They will get prepared too! I’m sure Soojin won’t mind that.”

Myungsoo agreed at once, “Kyunggyu too. So let’s tell them about the purpose of this deal.”

“Yup~”

They drank their last bit of mocha and left the café soon after. Myungsoo , all the way back home, and finally sent her into her house before returning to his.

They opened their window once they reached their rooms, at the same time, and chuckled at their actions.

“Bathe and meet here again!”

“Okay~” Jiyeon beamed and waved before running to her bathroom. Myungsoo did the same and they returned to the window to greet each other again.

They did homework that way, just opposite each other, since their tables were right below the window.

Sometimes, Myungsoo would climb over and study with her or play with her. That was how close they were.

They won’t get sick of each other at all.

However, they found it even more interesting to see each other the very next day.

Both of them went to school the next day, and told their friends about the Saturday date the first thing in the morning.

Just like they’ve said, both of them agreed, even after finding out the reason for the date, and decided to meet up outside the amusement park at 10 that Saturday.

“Baby Soosoo!”

Myungsoo pulled open his curtain only to see Jiyeon wrapped up in only a towel. “Baby jiji! What are you doing?! You’ll catch a cold!”

Jiyeon pouted sadly as she pointed to her closet, “Soosoo, help me pick the clothes, please? I can’t find pretty ones.”

Myungsoo sighed and jumped over to her room. She pulled the curtain closed before walking over to the closet and searched for her clothes.

“There.”

In just few seconds, he found what suited her the most that day for the amusement park.

“Wow! I didn’t know I have this top, soosoo!”

Myungsoo laughed and pushed her to the bathroom, “Change now. I’ll change too and we’ll meet in front of the house!”

“Okay~” Of course, she would agree to whatever he said.

They changed quickly and finally met up at their front gates after bidding goodbye to their parents.

“I know the way to the amusement park so just follow me well, hmm?”

Jiyeon nodded her head obediently, like a kid, which made Myungsoo chuckled again. “Let’s go.”

They walked a distance but Myungsoo realized she was having difficulty catching up with him. “Come on.” Myungsoo giggled and held his arm out for her to take.

Jiyeon took it with a wide grin and walked right next to him. “Thank you, soosoo~ I can’t catch up with you, always.”

“So this is for you to hold onto.” He tugged his arm out and giggled lightly, “Let’s go. Or we’ll be late.”

“Okay!” Jiyeon obeyed and walked with him to the bus stop. This time round, she caught up quickly since he was helping her.

They reached the amusement park in no time, only to find out that they reached the destination first. Soojin and Kyunggyu have not arrived which made them relieved.

And in just a few minutes time, the two of them appeared.

“Hello!” Jiyeon waved the last person over and together, they walked to the counter to get the tickets.

“How about this? Let’s walk in pairs.” Myungsoo suggested, since that was the main objective of the day.

The three agreed and they formed the pairs at once.

Myungsoo entered first, with Soojin, followed by Jiyeon, then Kyunggyu. “Hey, I’m Myungsoo.”

Soojin bowed slightly and smiled lovingly, “I know. And I’m Soojin, Jiyeon’s classmate.”

“I know too.” Myungsoo chuckled as they continued different topics about other things.

As for Jiyeon, she did the introduction first. “Hello, I’m Jiyeon! Myungsoo’s friend! And I know you’re Kyunggyu oppa~ I love seeing you playing basketball!”

Kyunggyu chuckled amusingly, “You’re such a chatterbox.”

Jiyeon frowned and pouted sadly, “I am?”

“But a cute one.” He added his honest comment after and that brightened Jiyeon up.

“Oh wait. There’s a leave on your hair.” Kyunggyu stretched his hand up to her hair to brush the leave on, and that alone caused Jiyeon to tense up.
