Baekhyun is arrogant and is from rich family. He doesn't care for anyone while Jiyeon is poor girl, she hate arrogant people especially Baekhyun because he always humiliate her by throwing his money at her and she always end up crying in front of him. One day he realized he was wrong.

“Look, Hannie. It’s that arrogant jerk again.” Jiyeon sighed before shaking her head when he saw how the arrogant jerk walking to school, crossing the huge park right in front of their school.

“Let’s not care about him.” Luhan simply ignored him instead, since he had no interest in people like him, and pulling Jiyeon along to school.

“But wait! Hannie! He’s bullying a kid again!”

“Let’s just go, Yeonie.”

“No! I have to help the kid!” Jiyeon patted Luhan’s arm, before rushing to the playground immediately.

“Yah! Byun Baekhyun! Stop bullying this kid! Can’t you see he’s already crying?!”

The small kid ran towards Jiyeon and hid behind her, as Baekhyun walked closer to Jiyeon while smirking evilly.

“Let’s see who is this~”

Jiyeon held her head up high and glared at him.

“You again~ Park Jiyeon.”

Of course he would know her.

She had been annoying the hell out of him for the past few months, ever since he joined the school as a transferee.

His parents have to move because of their jobs, so he moved too.

“Stop bullying a kid, would you?!”

Right then, Luhan’s reached her side and pushed Jiyeon behind him instead, “Let’s just forget about it, Baekhyun.”

And he turned around to get Jiyeon away, but Jiyeon sent Baekhyun another glare which made the latter mad.

Baekhyun pulled Jiyeon back and turned her around at once, “Did you just glare at me again?”

“Yes, I did. So what?”

Baekhyun smirked smugly, before placing his hands into his pockets, “I see someone isn’t afraid of being expelled. Don’t you remember my dad is the biggest shareholder of the school? I can get you expelled any moment.”

Luhan sighed and pulled Jiyeon along in a hurry, while using his free hand to pull the kid too, leaving Baekhyun smirking in victory.

“Hannie! We can’t let him go like this! He’s always using that as a threat!”

“But he’s right. His dad is the biggest shareholder and he can get you expelled any moment, Yeonie.”

Jiyeon huffed and crossed her arms in anger, but felt a thud on her uniform’s skirt at once. “Noona~”

Jiyeon turned into a hyper kid and bent down to his height, “Eo? Kiddy, you can’t stay out alone in the park, got it? It’s dangerous.”

“But I’ve got no friends.”

“Really?”

“Nobody wants to be friends with me after that bad hyung told them I’m bad.”

“That bad hyung chased your friends away?!”

The kid could only nod his head sadly. Jiyeon melted at once. She cupped his small cheeks and sighed sadly, “Noona can’t bring you to school too. Do you have school to go to?”

“Nope! Jun doesn’t have to go to school till next year!”

“Really? So Jun is 4 years old now?”

“Yup!”

“Hmm… Where is Jun’s house? Noona will bring you home and when noona’s school ends, noona will look for you.”

“Really?!”

“Yup!”

“Yeonie! We have school to go too!”

Jiyeon stood up straight and smiled at her best friend, “It’s fine, Hannie. I’ll just be a little late. You can go first!”

And she walked off with Jun.

Luhan sighed and waited for Jiyeon by the gates, since he still had some time.

It was a minute left to the closing of gates indeed, but from afar, he could see Jiyeon. Luhan walked into the school compound and urged her to hurry, as she ran hurriedly to school.

But to her horror, Baekhyun popped out and ordered the guards to close the gates quickly, and Jiyeon missed it just by a second.

“BYUN BAEKHYUN!”

Baekhyun laughed in joy and passed a pink slip to her, “Detention, my dear lady~” And he went back to his class while humming to his favorite song.

Luhan sighed sadly before patting Jiyeon on the back, “I’m sorry.”

“It’s not your fault too, Hannie~ I’ll be fine. It’s just detention.”

They walked to class together, and Jiyeon passed the pink slip to the teacher immediately. “Again? What happened now, Jiyeon?”

“I sent a kid back home.”

The teacher sighed and urged her back to her seat. She too, had no idea how to deal with Jiyeon. This student of hers was just too over caring.

The lessons went on as usual, and Jiyeon was prepared to go for detention class, but thankfully, her teacher let her off since she was doing a good deed, again.

Of course, Baekhyun was mad.

He just has to see Jiyeon down.

Baekhyun blocked her path when she was about to leave the school, alone, since Luhan has soccer practice to attend.

“What now, Baekhyun?”

“Oh hello there, Park Jiyeon~”

“What do you want now?”

Baekhyun shrugged his shoulders and pulled out a stack of money, which made her eyes opened widely.

“Do you need this money?”

Jiyeon rolled her eyes and moved a step back, “I need it but I won’t get it from you.”

She was poor.

She has her apartment to pay, even though she had finished paying her school’s fees. Her parents passed away when she was younger, which left her all alone in the world, fighting for survival.

But no matter how much she needed money, she won’t get it from arrogant jerk like him.

“But you need this badly, don’t you? You have an apartment to pay~”

Jiyeon glared at him angrily again, “How did you know?”

“I’m rich, kid. I know everything within a phone call.” Baekhyun smirked in joy before holding the stack of money up high.

“Park Jiyeon here!” That caught the attention of the students, “Is going to kiss my shoe for this stack of money!”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and glared at him, “When did I ever say I would do that?!”

“Now.”

Baekhyun brought his shoe up high, as the others were cheering happily.

But Jiyeon simply stepped on his foot, which caused him to wince badly. “YAH!”

“Don’t be so full of yourself, Byun Baekhyun. No matter how much I needed money, I won’t stoop so low to get it.”

Baekhyun stopped wincing and stood up straight again, glaring right at her, “It’s really fine, my poor kid. Just take the money.”

And he slapped the money onto her face.

Jiyeon gritted her teeth so hardly while clenching her fists tightly. Her tears were already threatening to fall.

“It’s money, kid! Don’t you need it? Pick it all up!” Baekhyun laughed in joy as the other students laughed with him too.

But his laughter stopped abruptly when he saw how Jiyeon was crying.

Jiyeon lowered her head and walked pass him, getting out of the suffocating school.

Baekhyun, however, was feeling so awful at that moment. His heart suddenly ached so much when he saw how she cried.

It was a first.

He has seen tons of girls cried for him before, but never once did he felt so awful and regretful.

Baekhyun made no second thoughts and chased after her immediately, but she was long gone. Without further ado, he dashed to his car and drove around the neighborhood, and finally found her walking along the streets.

Baekhyun slowed his speed down at once, and followed her closely.

He has to solve the tight feeling in his heart.

He followed her all the way to a house, and finally stopped outside when she went in. “Is that her house? It can’t be… Her house ain’t that big and nice. Secretary Kang said her house is a rooftop apartment.”

Baekhyun stopped for a moment and indeed, Jiyeon walked out happily with a kid.

And he recognized that was the kid he messed with that morning.

“Why is she with that kid…?”
