“Milday, we have to move now.”

Jiyeon smirked and kicked her shoes far away, crossing her arms as she turned her body to look at Baekhyun, “I need my shoes~ Baekie~”

It was a nickname she gave him, which she realized it suited him so much.

Baekhyun, being his bodyguard, allowed her to do whatever she wanted.

One, because he couldn’t disobey her.

Two, because he loved her.

To be honest, he joined the bodyguard team just because he wanted to get closer to her, because he wanted to protect her.

The first time he met her, was when Jiyeon was only 18.

She was on her way home from school, and about to get kidnapped. Baekhyun saw the scene, and he knocked the kidnappers out before sending Jiyeon back to the school, to ask for her address.

He was just a passer-by.

And that was when he felt the need to protect her.

He felt the urge to be by her side all day, just to make sure she was safe.

However, In Jiyeon’s memories, that guy who saved her was a mystery. She was semi-conscious since she was being knocked out on the back of her head, and as such, all she saw was his chin. His sharp and refine jaw which she couldn’t forget up till date.

Jiyeon came from a wealthy family, and was dangerous since everyone would kidnap her just for the ransom.

After that incident, her parents hired bodyguard for her, and Baekhyun had been with her till date.

It had been two years since Baekhyun was with her, and yet, he never once thought of resigning. With Jiyeon being Jiyeon, the brat that she always was, he was still determined to protect her.

“BAEKIE! MY SHOES!”

Baekhyun smiled and walked over to the other end of the room, getting her shoes back for her. Jiyeon groaned and glared at him angrily, “STOP SMILING!”

Baekhyun bit his lips and nodded his head as he kneeled down, helping her with the shoes in his hands.

Jiyeon wore it hurriedly and stormed out of her room, down to the front door, “COME HERE, BAEKIE! OPEN THE DOOR!”

Baekhyun chuckled at her behavior and rushed down to her side, “Here you go, milady.”

Jiyeon puffed her cheeks out and glared at her, “Stop smiling, Baekie! I’m warning you!” And she stormed over to the car, waiting for Baekhyun to get the door for her then.

Jiyeon got into the car as Baekhyun scurried in to the passenger’s seat. “Ahjussi, to Daejun University.”

The driver simply nodded his head and drove off. Jiyeon crossed her arms and glared at Baekhyun through the rear mirror.

“Milady, do you have something you wish to say?” Of course, it didn’t go unnoticed by him.

“Watch out, Baekie.” Jiyeon simply returned a low hiss and turned her head towards the window, “I’ll make you suffer later again!”

Baekhyun smiled and tilted his head to face the window too. *I’m all ready for a new day with you, Park Jiyeon.*

All of the sudden, he heard small giggle and looked at the rear mirror again. There, he found Jiyeon laughing to herself as she looked outside the window.

*She must have thought of something again.* Baekhyun smiled and turned his head to the front, staring at the road while his mind was filled with Jiyeon.

The driver saw the whole scene as he eyed the two, and he was holding back his smile too. In others’ eyes, it was just too cute to see these two together.

They reached Daejun University in no time, and Baekhyun assisted Jiyeon to the main hall, where she met the principal of the school in his office.

However, along the way, Jiyeon just had to run away.

Baekhyun chased after her, but since she was an ex-student of Daejun University, she knew her way around.

And soon, Baekhyun lost the sight of her.

He let out a small sigh and walked towards the principal’s room, before settling the charity papers with him.

Jiyeon donated a sum of money to the school.

Yes, she was naughty, but she had a kind-heart.

Baekhyun then hurried out of the room, and ran around the school to look for her again. The students were looking at him in awe, since he was so charming in his black suit, but he gave no attention to them.

Well, because his mind was filled with only Jiyeon.

Baekhyun ran around the whole school, and finally found her in the music room. It was all coincidental actually.

Baekhyun was running down the garden, but his eyes were zoning about.

And he caught the figure in the music room, on the third level. There, his Jiyeon, was sitting down on the ground beside a piano, and her head was nodding off.

Baekhyun let out a heartfelt laugh before rushing up to the music room. He walked slowly to the piano and squatted down to her height.

Yes, she was fast asleep.

Baekhyun giggled as he brought his finger up to poke her nose, and he let out happy silent laugh since Jiyeon scrunched her nose so cutely.

He then poked her cheek, which caused Jiyeon to slap his hand away unconsciously.

It was cute.

Too cute for him.

But it was time to go.

Baekhyun shook her lightly and spoke so sweetly and softly to her, “Milady, wake up now. It’s time to go.”

Jiyeon whined and pushed his hands away as her tired eyes opened slowly, “You’re so slow, Baekie! You lost this time round!”

“Yes, yes. I’ve lost.” Baekhyun smiled and patted her head, but only for her to slap it away again.

“Shall we go? It’s late.” Baekhyun stood up and attempted to walk away, but stopped when he realized she was still on the floor, “What’s wrong?”

Jiyeon stretched her arms out and smirked playfully, “Piggy-back! Piggy-back!!!”

Baekhyun sighed and squatted down again, with his back facing her, “You’re so hard to tame, milady.”

“Too bad. No one asked you to be my bodyguard.” Jiyeon jumped on him, which caused him to stumble, but he managed to keep his balance.

“Why are you so heavy, milady?!”

Jiyeon slapped his back hardly, as he stood up. But to him, it wasn’t painful at all. “I’M NOT HEAVY!”

“You’ve gained weight though. You’re heavier than the last time I piggy-backed you.”

“Baekie.”

“Yes?”

“You’re dead once we’re home.”

Baekhyun laughed madly as he walked down the hallway. Jiyeon spotted the jealous and envious eyes of the students, and at that moment, she felt proud.

*It’s not bad to have a handsome bodyguard sometimes…*

But only to realize it was such a wrong thought.

*HANDSOME?! NO! DON’T BE STUPID, PARK JIYEON! DON’T BE CHARMED BY HIM!*

Jiyeon shook her head hardly, which caused her bodyguard to stop abruptly, “Are you okay? Is your head hurting?”

“No.”

“Then what’s wrong?”

“Just move, Baekie.” Her voice was soft and weak, and Baekhyun could only follow her words. He turned his head only to find Jiyeon burying her head into his neck.

That was when he felt his love for her increased again.

The following week, Jiyeon had to attend a fashion event on behalf of her father since her parents were currently overseas.

She was the only daughter on them, thus she had to attend.

Well, she was used to such events, so it wasn’t much of a trouble.

But she just loved to create trouble.

Jiyeon was messing her room up when she was told to dress up. She made sure the whole room was messy and untidy, but Baekhyun could find her dress easily.

Well, he was used to her actions too.

He had taken her dress away in the morning, even before she woke up, and kept it aside so he could easily get it for her.

And Jiyeon changed into it obediently.

She put on some light make-up and wore her light jewelries before walking down the stairs to meet Baekhyun.

Of course, along the way, she was trying to formulate a new plan for Baekhyun to work on.

They reached the ballroom in no time, and Jiyeon was long gone, out from his sight. Baekhyun released a long sigh and contacted his team members, informing about her plan again.

He took his wrist up and spoke to the small device hidden in his sleeves, “She’s gone again.”

“Aish! That kid!” And he heard a loud groan at once, through the earpiece he had in his ear.

“Make sure to lock her up, Baekhyun!” And another hiss came by.

“Control your girl, Byun Baekhyun!” And another one. But that comment, he swore, was the one he loved the most.

“Let’s just find her fast!” Baekhyun smiled when he heard his leader spoke. Suho was always the calm and protective one.

After a long run around the ballroom, she was nowhere to be found.

It was of no use.
