Myungsoo and Jiyeon dated for a year but Myungsoo broke up with her and dated Suzy, Jiyeon could not take it and called him up and asked if it was true and Myungsoo said rude words to her. Jiyeon came to school after a week and acted normally she dated Jaehyo, they still like each other, Myungsoo tried to get her back and started a war with Jaehyo. “Myung~ It’s our first anniversary next Monday! Where should we go?”

Myungsoo poked her nose before hugging her tightly, “Hmm… Shall we go to the amusement park? Your favorite?”

“OKAY! CALL! But we have school on Monday though.”

Jiyeon beamed widely, “Only for that day! I’m a good student!”

“Yes, milady~” Myungsoo picked a spoonful of noodle up and brought it to , “Ah~ Open your mouth!”

Jiyeon obeyed as she took the noodle in happily, “Yummy~”

“That’s good.”

Jiyeon too, made a spoonful of her share of noodles and placed it into his mouth in joy. “Hmm~ This restaurant’s noodle is really the best!”

“Of course! I’ve good taste, didn’t I?”

“Oppa~ you’re the one with good taste since you caught me!”

Myungsoo laughed in joy as he pulled her in for a tight hug, “I admit that. I have good taste since I’ve found you.”

From anyone’s point of view, they looked like a perfect couple anybody would wish for. They had been together for a year ever since high school began, and they were still going strong.

Myungsoo sent Jiyeon back home, and he too, walked back to his apartment. It was already evening time, so he was rushing back home since it was getting colder and since it was raining lightly.

However, along the way, he saw a girl who ran out from a corner. Myungsoo looked at her and realized she was trying to run to a shelter. Right at that moment, the girl fell.

It was weird since nothing was in her way, but nonetheless, Myungsoo went to help her up. “Hey! Are you okay? Can you stand?”

The girl titled her head up, and Myungsoo could feel her own heart racing. It was weird, since Jiyeon was the one who made him feel that all alone.

“Yeah. I’m okay, I guess.” She tried standing up but failed miserably.

The dense Myungsoo just couldn’t figure out it was all an act. “Let me help you then.” He helped her up and walked towards the nearest bus stop.

She was still in her uniform, and it was clearly the same school as him. “We’re in the same school huh? What’s your name?”

“Suzy. Bae Suzy.”

“I see~ I’m Kim Myungsoo! 2nd year!”

“I’m a junior.”

Myungsoo smiled as he nodded his head in understanding, “Where do you stay?”

Suzy told him her address easily, just like a would do, and even asked him to get him home. Myungsoo agreed easily too, since he was already smitten by her charm.

Suzy invited him to her apartment too, and he took a cup of tea before heading back home since it was getting later.

Throughout the weekend, Myungsoo spent his day in her apartment. Suzy asked him over since her leg was still in pain, and Myungsoo did come over willingly.

The next day was a school day, and it was also the day the couple promised to go to the amusement park for their first year anniversary.

Jiyeon got up early in the morning, prepared for the full day out with Myungsoo, and even had her gift in her bag neatly.

She got her phone and called Myungsoo immediately, but he picked it up with a loud groan, “WHO IS IT?!”

“Myung! It’s me! We promised to go to the amusement park today for our first anniversary! Are you still asleep? It’s already 10!”

“Stop nagging!”

Jiyeon was surprised at his coldness. “Myung…”

She knocked on the door, and his mother opened it at once since she sounded urgent. “What’s wrong, Jiyeon-ah?”

“Myungsoo… Where is Myung…?”

“He’s in his room, sleeping. What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” His mother was approved of Jiyeon. She was such a sweet girl, and she loved her a lot and treated her as though she was her own daughter.

Of course, seeing her own daughter sad made her worried too.

Jiyeon simply sent her a polite bow before rushing into the house, storming into Myungsoo’s room.

Jiyeon pulled the blanket away and pulled him up, “Myung. Tell me it’s not true.”

Myungsoo groaned and shrugged her hands away harshly. “What?! Stop disturbing my sleep!” And he dropped down onto the bed again.

Jiyeon wiped her tears and pulled him up again, “Did you sleep with Suzy? Did you really cheat on me?! Are we done?!”

“Yes! It’s true! YES! THAT’S WHAT I TOLD YOU IN THE PHONE, RIGHT?!” Myungsoo ruffled his head and glared at her, “Suzy just let me take her on bed the whole night! And you?! You won’t even let me touch you! What the are you so secretive about?! Afraid I would laugh at your fat belly?! Afraid I would laugh about the scar on your back?! Yeah! It’s ugly! You’re ugly! You’re one ugly ! I’m so sick of you now! Get out! I need to sleep! I’m meeting Suzy later too!”

Jiyeon broke down into tears at his words.

His mother heard it all and stormed into the room to smacked him hard on his head, “WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! HUH?! DID I RAISE YOU TO BECOME LIKE THIS?! WHAT ARE YOU?! WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU?!”

Jiyeon ignored their home affairs and ran off, with tears still flowing down her cheeks mercilessly. She was crying so hardly that she couldn’t see what was in front of her.

Jiyeon took her phone out and looked at their photos, their memories. “Stupid… I believed you so much… I believed you and yet you…”

She deleted their photos together, and even his number.

“Stupid Myung. How could you say that? Do you really hate that I’m fat? Do you really hate my scar? Do you really want so badly? I’m sorry I couldn’t live up to your standards then…” She was crying as she crossed the road.

She got into an accident.

It wasn’t a huge one, and she woke up that night in the hospital. Only some scratches on her arms and legs, nothing big.

Thank goodness the car stopped before it got worse.

Jiyeon decided to let the driver off since it was her fault too.

“Jiyeon-ssi, can you call your parents over? We need them to sign the forms.”

“I have no parents…”

“Oh, I’m sorry. Then how about a guardian?”

“I have no one. Can I sign it myself? I can go now. I’m perfectly fine.” Jiyeon got down from the bed and looked at the nurse, with her sad eyes.

Whoever saw that eyes would surely wish they could help her too. And indeed, Jiyeon signed the papers on her own and left the hospital that night.

She stayed in her apartment and never once stepped out. She would eat some food from her fridge Myungsoo bought before. After eating, she would watch the TV restlessly, and then go to bed.

That was her routine for a week.

When she finally got her senses back, she told herself to brace herself again. Her parents got her into the prestigious school before they passed away, so Jiyeon has to finish it no matter what.

From then all, she would live for her parents and herself, no one else.

She went to school for the new week, and held her head up high. She wasn’t the one who was wrong so why should she be a coward?

She almost gave up when she saw the new couple in the locker room making out, but she did not. When she thought of her parents again, she stayed strong.
