Myungyeon, Hyomin, Doyeon

Jiyeon has crush from first year of junior high school with her senior, Myungsoo. She tried all she could do, like stalk Myungsoo everyday, not going home before Myungsoo go home, etc. Hyomin, Myungsoo's classmate and Jiyeon's cousin, who see that try to help her to ask Myungsoo's phone number. Myungsoo just give it since he doesn’t know anything. Day by day, they become friend. They always texting every day. But Jiyeon don't know actually Myungsoo has girlfriend, Doyeon. When their school has art festival, Jiyeon saw Myungsoo and Doyeon act so lovely. It just a broken heart moment to Jiyeon. Ever since that, Jiyeon act so cold to anyone. Myungsoo just ignore it because he just sees Jiyeon as a junior. Years later, they meet again and now Myungsoo was the one who chase after her.

“Unnie~”

“Hmm?”

“Myungsoo oppa is in your class, right?”

“Yeah, why?”

“Do you know him well?”

“Hmm… I can say we’re friends.”

“REALLY?”

“Yeah, why?”

“Hmm…”

“Tell me, Ji.”

“Don’t you think he’s handsome?”

“Well… He’s above average, that’s true. Ji, you like him, don’t you?”

Jiyeon blushed deep red as she buried her face into the pillow she was hugging, “Unnie! Don’t say it so easily!”

“Aigoo~ My Ji has grown up! She’s having a crush now! So what level is it? Huh? Crush? Like? Love?”

“Unnie~~”

“Tell me, Ji!”

Jiyeon giggled when Hyomin pulled the pillow away from her face. “Hmm… I don’t know actually… My heart always beat so loudly and quickly when I’m near him.”

“Really? What else?”

“And I would think of him every night.”

“And and?”

“Oh! I sometimes stalk him too.”

“Wow, Ji. Daebak.”

“W-What?! I just! I just wanted to know that he’s safe!”

“What about you? Are you safe from stalking him?”

“Actually… I can say I’m quite safe. He always returned home after school! And then I’ll go back home! It’s safe, unnie!”

“That’s good then.” Hyomin smiled as she ruffled her hair, “What else did you do?”

Jiyeon smiled shyly before pulling her textbook out from her bag and flipped the pages. Hyomin simply stared at it in awe.

She took the book over and flipped every pages on her own, “Every pages has his name!”

“I don’t know… I guess I zone out during lesson since I was thinking about him.”

“You’re serious huh, Ji?”

“Of course I am, unnie! I never felt this way before!”

Hyomin nodded her head in approval, “Fine! I’ll help you since I think he suits you too!”

“Really?! You would?!”

“Yes! I’ll get his number for you!”

“OMO! UNNIE! FOR REAL?! YOU WOULD?!”

“Yes! Anything for my Ji!”

The next day, Jiyeon waited patiently on her bed as she showered. She never spoke about it, but Hyomin knew she was eager to know. She simply wanted to further.

“Ah~ Such a tiring day! Unnie has to sleep now!”

Yes, they lived together. Jiyeon came to Seoul for further studies since her hometown were at Ando, and Hyomin’s parents welcomed her gladly.

Jiyeon pouted sadly and pulled Hyomin up at once, “Unnie!”

“Yeah?”

“What about that thing?”

“What thing?”

“Unnie~~~”

“Alright alright. It’s just so fun teasing you!” Hyomin gave her his number while laughing, and Jiyeon messaged him at once.

“Hi there! Myungsoo sunbae! I’m Park Jiyeon from Class 2-1! Could we be friends? :D”

It was a simple message, yet she used 15 minutes to type it and finally sent it.

And she got a reply within minutes which made her jumped.

“Of course! Hello to you too, Jiyeon-ah! Just call me oppa will do! Sunbae sounds so formal! :)”

Jiyeon squealed like the happiest kid on earth before replying his message, and the exchange of messages lasted till late night before he went to bed.

Hyomin simply smiled at her cousin’s behaviour, glad that she helped out with her romance. She always wanted to see Jiyeon happy too.

Days went by quickly, and their conversations through message grew too.

Jiyeon asked so many questions, too obvious that she was interested in him, but he asked the same questions in return out of politeness, unknown to her.

“Unnie~”

“Yeah?”

“I realized we had so many things in common!”

“We?”

“I mean Myungsoo and me!”

“Psh.” Hyomin scoffed as she poked the younger forehead, but she had a smile on her face, “That’s good then. Maybe you two will become a couple someday?”

“You think so?!”

“I hope so, Ji~ You looked so happy while texting him.”

“I am happy!”

“Then I’m happy for you too!”

“Unnie~ How about you? Any boyfriend?!”

“Nope~”

“No potentials?”

“Nope~”

Jiyeon sighed sadly, “How about I introduce you to my classmate?”

“Silly. I go for someone older!”

“Really? Aww~ I had a few handsome classmates too!”

Hyomin ruffled her hair playfully before walking to the washroom for a shower, “Continue your messages with your prince charming and don’t mind me, silly girl.”

“Yes, unnie!” Jiyeon saluted happily, before she did as told indeed.

Without knowing, months passed.

They still continued messaging each other, and even talked during school hours when they saw each other too.

Jiyeon was at cloud nine indeed.

“Myungsoo oppa!”

“Eo! Jiyeon-ah!” Myungsoo sighed inwardly when he was being called. Actually, he found her annoying. He was just acting as a good senior to her, trying to be nice.

“Oppa! Are you going to the arts festival this Friday?”

“Of course! I have to go, right? I’m in charge of the games store!”

“Ah, right! I forgot about it! So I’ll see you this Friday, oppa!”

“Eo! See you too, Jiyeon-ah!”

Jiyeon hopped off happily, back to her lesson while Myungsoo continued his walk to his classroom with his friends.

“Her again? Aren’t you sick of her?”

“Of course I am!”

“Then just tell her to stop annoying you!” Sungyeol nudged him playfully.

“I have an image to keep, buddy.”

“Psh~ You and your image! But she’s cute though!” Sungyeol had no grudge towards Jiyeon at all. Yes. Instead, he found her cute.

Myungsoo simply ignored his comment as they sat on their seats, and the lesson began as usual. Well, he totally forgot about Jiyeon, his annoying junior.

Friday arrived too quickly, and the festival was a success.

Jiyeon hopped around stores to stores, as a guest since she had no stores to be taken care of, and finally reached the games store.

She stretched her head about, but found no Myungsoo in it.

Sungyeol smiled and leaned closer to her, “Looking for your Myungsoo oppa?”

“Eo! Sunbae!”

“It’s alright. Just call me oppa too!” Sungyeol ruffled her hair playfully before handling her a water toy guy. “Wanna play?”

“I can? But I have no money with me though!”

“It’s fine. This is on me!”

Jiyeon took the water toy gun happily, before shooting the cans down easily. “Wow! You sure can shoot well, Jiyeon-ah!”

She laughed sheepishly instead, not knowing what to answer.

“And you got the grand prize!”

“Eo! It’s fine, oppa! I didn’t pay for it too!”

“No problem. Just take it!” Sungyeol pushed the medium sized bear to her, forcing her to take it, and she did in the end.

“Thanks, oppa!”

“No problem! Oh, and Myungsoo is taking his rest now! He should be in the garden!”

Jiyeon saluted him and ran off at once, leaving Sungyeol behind chuckling at her behaviour. But he was sighing deep inside too. *I hope he’s not with her now. Poor Jiyeon.*

Jiyeon reached the garden in no time, and ran around searching for her prince charming while hugging the medium sized bear tightly.

“Where is oppa~? Where is oppa~?”

She even hummed while searching, and finally spotted Myungsoo beyond the fountain. He had his back facing her, and he was sitting by the wooden table in a corner.

She ran up to the tree beside the table, intended to surprise him.

But even before she could give him a surprise, she received a surprise instead. Myungsoo was sitting opposite a pretty lady, also in their school uniform.

“Isn’t that… Doyeon sunbae?”
