Baekyeon

Baekhyun is out shopping with his son, HyunJoon. HyunJoon mistakenly thinks Jiyeon is his mom. Baekhyun apologizes to Jiyeon. They meet accidentally a few more times, and Baekhyun is starting to feel like he's in love again, but he doesn't say anything to Jiyeon. HyunJoon's mom (Baekhyun's ex-wife) is coming from the states to visit HyunJoon. Baekhyun asks Jiyeon to move into his house for a month and stay with him and act like his girlfriend. After his ex-wife leaves, Baekhyun is sad that Jiyeon has to leave, and confesses to her he loves her. 

Extra: Please make it mature but add in a little bit of cheesy things in there. And when Baekhyun confesses, have him say "well, since you're things are already here, why don't you just stay?", and then you can add the rest to his confession! HyunJoon is only 5 years old.  

“Hyunjoon-ah~ Let’s go!”

“Appa~”

“Yeah?”

“Give Hyunjoon 1 minute!”

Baekhyun had a brow raised, but he was smiling. “What are you doing in the kitchen, baby boy?” He walked into the kitchen, only to find Hyunjoon hiding something behind his back.

“What is that?”

“Nothing!”

“What is Hyunjoon hiding from appa? Hmm?”

“Nothing!”

Baekhyun turned him around with one swift movement, and found a bottle of apple juice in his hands.

“Hyunjoon~?”

Baekhyun turned him back, only to see his pout on his face. “Hyunjoon is sorry, appa.”

“Why did you drink this early in the morning, hmm? What did appa say before?”

“No sweet drinks in the morning…”

“Then what is this?”

“Sweet drinks… But! But Hyunjoon is sorry! Hyunjoon knows he’s wrong!”

“Really?”

“Yes!”

“Then why did Hyunjoon drink this then?”

“Hyunjoon is thirsty…”

“That’s it?”

“And…”

“And?”

“And Hyunjoon loves apple juice.”

Baekhyun smiled before placing the straw in front of his lips, “Drink one more mouth and we’ll go.”

Hyunjoon brightened up at once and took a deep sip, which made Baekhyun laughed. “Alright, alright! That’s enough!”

Hyunjoon gulped it down before letting out a refreshed sigh. “Thank you, appa! Hyunjoon loves appa the most!”

“That’s my baby.” Baekhyun picked him up swiftly and headed to the door before placing him on top of the shoe cabinet. “Hyunjoon will wear his shoe… and we will go! Call?”

“CALL!”

Baekhyun smiled as he helped Hyunjoon with his shoes.

After he had it on, he picked him up swiftly before locking the door up, and headed down to his car.

“Front of back?”

“Front! Hyunjoon wants to sit with appa!”

“That’s my boy.” Baekhyun buckled his seatbelt up before hurrying over to the driver’s seat and within seconds, he was driving off to the nearest mall.

It was a weekend, and it meant family day for the both of them.

Baekhyun has to work during the weekdays, while Hyunjoon will be either with his grandmother or with the day care centre, after he had finished his nursery lessons.

Baekhyun doesn’t like placing Hyunjoon in the day care centre though, but he had no other choices.

He had no time at all.

If Baekhyun’s mother didn’t have the time to get Hyunjoon, then he will stay in the pre-school till Baekhyun fetched him.

It’s a combined pre-school and day-care centre, which was actually convenient for Baekhyun.

He doesn’t like it, but he had no other choices.

And as such, weekends will be family days.

Baekhyun always brought Hyunjoon out to the mall. It was the same mall, but Hyunjoon loved it. He was a sensible kid. He knew his father was busy working to live on and support him. Although he was 5, he had a brain of a boy older than 5.

But he’s cute too.

Toddlers were just like that.

But he had a particular reason why he loved that mall.

Strange enough, he had a strong feeling whenever they walked past a store named ‘Toy Story’. Hyunjoon knew how to read it since he asked his father, but they never went into that store before.

Why?

Baekhyun doesn’t want to spoil Hyunjoon with lots of toys. He had a few at home, and he thought that was enough.

Actually, Hyunjoon doesn’t feel attracted to the toys.

He felt attracted to a person inside.

He saw that lady once when she was walking back to the store and he was mesmerized by her. She felt so familiar to him. She felt so close to him.

Hyunjoon wanted to see her again.

And so, he loved going to the mall – the same mall – over and over again. He never complained, which was actually a benefit for Baekhyun too.

There was always a saying - fathers just don’t know what kids want – it was indeed true.

Hyunjoon held Baekhyun’s hand as they walked down the hallways, window shopping for lots of things.

But he had his eyes on that store again.

“Hyunjoon-ah~”

“Hyunjoon knows, appa! Hyunjoon doesn’t want toys!”

“Then why are you always looking at that store? It’s filled with toys for you kids.”

“Hyunjoon doesn’t know too.” Of course he knew. He just didn’t know how to express himself.

“Let’s go then?”

“Okay…”

He was so sad.

It was another day without the opportunity to see that lady once more.

But fate seemed to be on his side that day.

Right when he was about to turn back to the front, the lady walked out of the store, holding onto a wallet and a phone.

Hyunjoon brightened up at once.

He let go of Baekhyun’s hand – which scared him – and ran towards the lady. Hyunjoon bumped his body against her legs and hugged them tightly, burying his face into her thighs. “OMMA~ OMMA!!!!!”

The lady was so surprised alright. She stood there, stunned, not knowing what to do.

Baekhyun rushed over to their side and pulled Hyunjoon away from her at once instead. “Hyunjoon-ah! What are you doing? That’s not omma.”

“No! That’s omma!”

“Hyunjoon-ah~”

Hyunjoon pushed Baekhyun’s hands away and hugged the lady’s thighs again, “OMMA! THIS IS OMMA!”

“Hyunjoon-ah!”

Hyunjoon was about to cry.

But the lady stopped him before he could burst out into tears. She picked him up swiftly and wiped snuggled her face against his cheek, making him laughed at once. “Hyunjoon? That’s your name, right?”

Hyunjoon wrapped his arms around her neck tightly, laughing blissfully at her actions. “OMMA!”

The lady sent Baekhyun some knowing glances, and walked ahead, with Baekhyun following suit. He walked behind, watching how the lady interacted with his son.

She acted as though she was really his mother.

Baekhyun was awed, indeed, and he was amazed by her reaction. No one would do this, would they? Who would act as some kid’s mother and played with him for the whole noon? Moreover, she was at work too.

Finally, he felt asleep in her arms after enjoying the day with his ‘mother’. Baekhyun took him over gently, sending a smile to the lady. “I’m so sorry about it.”

“It’s nothing at all. I love kids! Hyunjoon is so cute too!”

“Ah, I’m Baekhyun. Byun Baekhyun.”

“I’m Jiyeon! Park Jiyeon! I’m working in the ‘Toy Story’ store, as you know.” Jiyeon cooed, while brushing Hyunjoon’s hair lightly.

“Yup. And well… I worked with the Samsung.”

“Wow. Which department? That’s so cool!”

“The marketing department though. It’s nothing cool. It’s tedious.”

“Really? I always wanted to work in big companies like that! But I failed at all the interviews! They’re just so mean! They said I have no experience with such work! I mean… How would I have any experience if I never had the chance to join a company right? Th
