Myungsoo has a bet with his friend, that’s to get into Jiyeon's pants. He tried befriending her which is a success and soon, he tried many times to do it with her. Myungsoo and his group of friends were sitting down in a corner of their classroom, chatting among themselves about everything they could think of.

It had always been like this.

The 7 of them were friends since babies, and they grew up together.

Their parents sent them to the same school, and fate seemed to like them since they were always being put into the same classes.

It was good for them.

They liked it.

They liked being together since they were literally inseparable.

The 7 of them were just like linked babies, and they promised to be friends till their last breath. Not even a bug can separate them.

“Look!”

Myungsoo tilted his head up to where Woohyun was talking about. “What?”

“Her!”

“Her?”

“Look at her. She’s pretty, isn’t she?”

“Hyomin?”

“Yes! I’m so going to ask her out soon.”

Sunggyu laughed as he nudged his friend on his elbow, “Are you serious?! You’re going to ask her out?”

“Yes!”

“I’m betting 10,000 won he will break up with her one week later.” Sungyeol took out 10,000 won, and Sungjong followed suit with another 10,000. “I bet on 5 days.”

Hoya and Dongwoo too, took out 20,000 each instead, “I’m betting on 3 days.”

Woohyun glared at them but decided to wave it off, “You can bet all you want but it won’t come true.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m going to keep our relationship for a long time.”

“Are you serious?!”

“Of course I am.” Woohyun nodded his head firmly, “I’m going to ask her out, and she will be my wife in the future.”

“Stop joking, Namu~ You’re the biggest playboy among us!”

“But I’ve changed! Hyomin changed me and I’m going to be a one-woman man now~” Woohyun sang and walked over to Hyomin happily.

From what his friends could see, they started talking happily right at once.

“Is he serious?”

“I think he is. I’ve never seen him so serious like this before.”

Sunggyu shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and that was when his eyes found another girl in their class. “Look there.”

His friends did as told, and saw another beauty. “Ah! Jiyeon?”

“Yeah!”

“And?”

Sunggyu smirked and eyed his friends, sending them some eye signals and they turned to Myungsoo at once. “Go get her, Myungsoo.”

“Why me?”

“Because you’re the second biggest playboy after Woohyun? Now he’s not available, the next bet will be on you.”

Myungsoo looked at Jiyeon, from head to toe, and nodded his head in agreement, “She’s pretty. Alright. What about the bet?”

“Go get her. Befriend her and make her love you. Get into her pants and break it off with her.”

“That’s cruel.”

“Oh please!” They laughed as Sunggyu smacked Myungsoo’s back, “You don’t know what’s cruel, Kim Myungsoo! Stop acting like a saint.”

Myungsoo smirked at his words indeed, “And what if I did it?”

“You’ll get whatever you want from us.”

“Whatever I want?”

“Yes.”

“I have something big in mind now~” Myungsoo scoffed in victory before moving over to the girl they betted on.

“I bet it’s another car.” Hoya snickered, with Dongwoo agreeing at once. “Audi again.”

“Well~ We can always buy him a toy car!”

And they began to laugh in bliss at their own joke.

“Hi, Jiyeon!”

Jiyeon looked up from her lunchbox and blinked at the new intruder. “Hi, Myungsoo?”

“What’s with that tone? Are you that surprise to see me here?”

“Yes?”

Myungsoo laughed and took a seat in front of her, since that classmate was out to get lunch in the cafeteria. “Come on~ I came to talk to you!”

“Talk to me about?”

“About everything! Can I eat lunch with you?”

“Yeah sure!” Jiyeon smiled and shifted her lunchbox nearer to her, only to realize he doesn’t have any. “Where’s your lunch?”

Myungsoo giggled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head, “I haven’t bought it yet.”

“It’s okay! Then would you want to share it with me?” Jiyeon cooed and pushed the lunchbox back to the middle of the table, “I can’t finish it! I guess I made too much for myself.”

“Can I?”

“Of course!” Jiyeon smiled and picked up an eggroll to his lips, “Ah~”

Myungsoo blinked in surprise instead. That was new to him.

“Ah!”

He opened his mouth obediently and took the eggroll in. “Wow~ It’s delicious! You said you made them?”

“Yup! I lived alone so I make my lunch every day!”

“You live alone?” Myungsoo pretended to be sad, but in his mind, he was jumping in victory. He could easily finish the bet in her house then.

“Yeah.” Jiyeon smiled sadly, which left unnoticed to him instead, but she managed to overcome it quickly, “Want some more eggrolls?”

“Yeah sure!” This time, he opened his mouth for her to place the eggroll in easily. “It’s so yummy, oh gosh.”

“I can make lunch for you if you want to?”

“You would?!”

“Yes, I can!”

“I can eat lunch with you from now on?”

“Of course! I have no one to eat with too.” Jiyeon smiled and picked up a sausage to his lips, “Ah~”

Myungsoo gladly took the octopus-shaped sausage in deliciously.

Well, to be honest, it was the best meal he had ever taken. She sure could cook even better than his own mother.

The bell rang right when they finished their lunch.

“It’s my cue to go now huh?” He ruffled her hair before standing up, “Are you free this noon?”

“Yeah!”

“Wanna hang out with me?”

“With you?”

“Yeah!”

“Okay! I don’t mind.” Jiyeon smiled and waved happily, watching him moving back to his seat.

When Myungsoo had his on his chair, his friends turned to him at once. “How was it? How was it?!”

“Everything is under control~”

They just had to laugh at his witty comment.

The lesson soon began, and it went on for the next half of the day before the school finally ended. Myungsoo walked over to Jiyeon at once, since he had finished packing his stuff long ago.

“Ready to go?”

Jiyeon smiled and picked her bag up as she stood, “Of course! Let’s go now! But where are we going?”

“I know a great place to hang out.” Myungsoo smiled and walked ahead, “Come on!” And she followed suit.

They ended up in an arcade.

Jiyeon sure was amazed since she never once went to an arcade before, and she was so fascinated by everything inside.

“It’s your first time here?”

“Yeah!”

Myungsoo didn’t realize he was actually smiling at her actions too. “Come on in!” He then grabbed her wrist and pulled her inside, showing her around the arcade.

They finally settled down with a fighting game.

Myungsoo sat right beside Jiyeon, and they versus each other happily. Of course he won in the end since he was an expert, but Jiyeon was happy and that was enough.

They then moved on to the dancing game, and this time, surprisingly, Jiyeon won. She could really dance. Myungsoo was proud instead. “I didn’t know you can dance!”

“I took up dance classes when I was young!”

“What about now?”

Jiyeon smiled a sad one again, and shook her head sadly, “Not anymore.”

“Why?”

Jiyeon didn’t want to explain at all. She didn’t want to share her bad past to anyone, and so she changed the topic. “Eo! Myungsoo! Can we play that?”

Myungsoo looked at what she was pointing, and smiled at once. “Gun? Are you sure you can shoot?”

“Don’t underestimate a girl, Myungsoo!”

They moved over to the game at once, and this time, Jiyeon kept up with Myungsoo easily. They were on track, and they passed the missions together in sync and even finished the boss up.

“I didn’t believe you could really shoot!”

“Of course I could! I’m a professional!”

Myungsoo laughed happily before bringing her out of the arcade, and walked her down the streets as they chatted happily about everything.

All of the sudden, he could hear some growls from her tummy, which made him laughed madly. “You’re hungry?!”

“Stop laughing, Myungsoo~”

“I can’t help it!” He was still laughing, but he managed to pull her over to a nearby store. “Ddeobeokki for high tea?”

“ASSA! I love ddeobeokki!”

“That’s good then.” Myungsoo ordered two servings for the both of them, and even ordered fish cake soup.

It was so delicious that they finished everything up in no time.

“Ahhh~ I didn’t know there’s such a restaurant here! It’s so nice and comfy and I’m so full now!”

“It is, isn’t it?” Myungsoo smiled as he looked around the store, “I’m a regular here! If you want, I can bring you here again.”

“Really? You would?!”

“Of course!”

Jiyeon couldn’t be happier than that. “I have a question, Myungsoo.”
