Plot: One sided love from Jiyeon's POV.

“YEONIE~” Chanyeol screamed excitedly when he entered Jiyeon’s bedroom after getting in through her mommy’s help.

Jiyeon whined in her sleep at that sudden loud yell and pulled the pillow over her ears, ignoring it.

“YEONIE!” Chanyeol jumped onto her bed and pulled away the pillow. He placed his mouth next to her ear and screamed loudly, “WAKE UPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Jiyeon jumped up, wide awake, at the loud shout into her ear. She looked around the room and saw Chanyeol sitting on her bed, laughing at her.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! IT'S SUNDAY!”

“Yeonie-ah, let’s go to the amusement park, eo? I won two tickets yesterday~” Chanyeol cheered and showed her the two tickets in his hand.

Jiyeon’s eyes widened at that news and took the tickets from him, “EVERLAND!!!!! YEOLLIE! YOU’RE AWESOME!” She sang and pounced on his body, giving him a huge bear hug with her legs around his waist.

Chanyeol held onto her thighs when she jumped onto him to keep her steady, “I know I know. You don’t have to be so grateful. First, you have to wash up!”

“YES SIR!” Jiyeon rushed into the washroom when she heard that.

All Chanyeol could do was to laugh at his best friend. They were friends since they were babies and they are basically inseparable up till date.

They even have a set of keys to each other’s house and sometimes would stay over for fun.

“Done, Yeonie? Ready to go?” Chanyeol picked up his bag and took hers when he saw Jiyeon walking out from the bathroom in her new clothes.

“LET’S GO GO GO~ EVERLAND~”

They walked down the stairs to be greeted by her mommy. Jiyeon ran to her side and hugged her tightly, “OMMA~ don’t miss me too much! I’m going out with Yeollie~”

Her mommy simply smacked her little and pushed her out with Chanyeol, “Go and have fun, don’t come back so early~”

Jiyeon huffed and walked off with Chanyeol, “Which mommy asks their child to stay out till late night?!”

Chanyeol laughed at her comment and patted her head, “That’s auntie for you~ Now let’s walk faster or else we’ll miss the bus!”

“RACE YOU TO THE BUS STOP~ LALALALA~” Jiyeon yelled and ran ahead, leaving the dumbfounded Chanyeol behind, “WAIT FOR ME!! AISH! YEONIE!!!”

After sitting a long ride in the bus, they finally reached Everland.

“WOAHHHHH~” Jiyeon was awed at almost everything around, even the entrance of Everland since it’s her first time there.

“Don’t be such a country pumpkin, Gosh~”

Jiyeon glared at the tall guy and pushed him lightly, “It’s my first time here!”

Chanyeol laughed and pulled her towards the entrance, “So what are you waiting for?” He passed her the ticket for her to enter herself and she did, “WOAHHHHH!!!!! SO COOL!”

Chanyeol pulled her further into the park, away from the amused staff members and hissed, “don’t make a fool out of yourself! People are looking!”

Jiyeon pouted but shrugged it off the next moment when she saw something fun, “LET’S RIDE THAT!” She pointed to the highest roller coaster and pulled Chanyeol towards that direction.

“A-Are… you sure?” Chanyeol stuttered when he saw the turning trails of the ride and saw the name of the ride: ‘T-express’. Now he remembered watching some idols playing this ride before, “t-this…?”

Jiyeon smirked at him and placed her hands on his shoulders, “you scared?”

“W-who said so! I’m not!”

“Then let’s go~” Jiyeon sang and pulled him towards the queue but got lost since she’s not good with the direction. “Are we in the right place?”

Chanyeol sighed and dragged her towards the real queue, “you’re really a direction idiot.”

Jiyeon simply giggled and allowed him to drag her there, “Go go go~”

After getting down from the roller coaster, Chanyeol admitted defeat, “how can you like this? Oh God… I feel like vomiting.”

Jiyeon laughed and helped him walk straight, “It’s so fun!!! We can come back later, right? After we played all the games, let’s come back to this!”

Chanyeol was shocked at her enthusiasm about this ride. *I hope there’s no more time for this.*

“Let’s go elsewhere now, yeonie.” He sighed and dragged her towards the opposite direction. Looking at it just made him puke.

“What about that?!” He laughed and pointed to the haunted house which made Jiyeon shivered, “t-that?”

“Bingo~ I accompanied you to the coaster, now you accompany me. Fair enough!” He laughed and dragged her to the queue for haunted house despite her struggling out of his hold.

“Are we really going in?” Jiyeon mumbled while eyeing the old looking haunted house.

Chanyeol hugged her shoulders tightly, “don’t worry! I’m here for you!”

Jiyeon just hugged him back and whimpered, “If I don’t come out alive I’ll haunt you!”

He laughed at her funny speech and patted her back, “don’t worry~”

And they entered the house with some other people as a group.

“Yeollie… It’s so dark!” Jiyeon mumbled and held onto his arm tighter. Chanyeol squeezed her hands and assured her, “I’m here! It’s fine!”

They walked further into the house and it slowly became darker. At a point in the house, some ghostly figure ran out from nowhere and scared the wits out of the group which made Jiyeon lost her best friend.

“YEOLLIE!?” She tried to grab her best friend but there’s no one beside her.

Her hands stretched out further to find her best friend, “YEOLLIE?! WHERE ARE YOU?!”

And finally, she touched an arm. “YEOLLIE? You scared me! I thought I lost you!” She shrieked and hugged the arm tighter.

“Erm…” She could hear the guy’s voice but simply shrugged it off, “don’t leave me alone again! It’s so dark and scary!”

The guy sighed and hugged her instead. He patted her back to cool her down and Jiyeon hugged his waist to secure herself, “Yeollie…”

He guided them through the whole maze and finally exited the haunted house with Jiyeon hiding in his chest the whole journey.

Finally, Jiyeon could see lights in front of her. She sighed deeply and released the grip. “Yeollie… I said I don’t like haunted house and you forced me in!” She pouted while trying to adjust her blouse.

“YEONIE!”

Jiyeon looked up at that call and saw Chanyeol running to her from another direction. She gasped loudly at pointed her finger at him, “yeollie?!”

Chanyeol reached her side and grabbed her shoulders, “where did you go?! I lost you in the maze and came out immediately!”

Jiyeon gulped and turned around slowly.

And she saw a total stranger in front of her. “I… I’M SORRY!” She gasped and bowed to him, feeling so apologetic that she held onto him the whole time and disturbed him.

The guy smiled and patted her head, “It’s fine now. I’m glad you’re okay!”

“MYUNGSOO-AH!” Another guy shouted and ran to the stranger, “Where were you? You suddenly got lost in the haunted house, damn it!”

*So he’s Myungsoo!”Jiyeon thought and smiled inwardly. *Such a nice name!*

Myungsoo smiled at his friend and shrugged it off, “I had a better mission. Let’s go, Woohyun-ah.” He placed his arms across Woohyun’s shoulders and walked off, but not without turning around and winked at Jiyeon.

Jiyeon widened her eyes when she saw that and blushed deep red at once.

“Someone’s blushing~” Chanyeol sang and placed her arms around her shoulders, “You saw him once and you like him already?”

“Well… He’s so charming! AND HE PROTECTED ME UNLIKE SOMEONE!” She glared at Chanyeol and walked off towards another direction, “I’m not ever coming back to this house!”

Chanyeol ran after her and hugged her shoulders, “what if you’re with that Myungsoo guy?”

“Hmm… Maybe I can consider about it because he will protect me!” Jiyeon smiled dreamily but turned to glare at Chanyeol soon after, “but not with you, HMPH!”

Chanyeol laughed it off and dragged her towards those stores which provided mini-games to win plushies.
