There, in the classroom, sat a girl who was giggling to herself the whole morning. Even during lessons, she was always giggling to herself.

“Park Jiyeon?”

The girl snapped out from her day-dream as she heard her name being called.

“What are you laughing at?”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and blushed when she realized the whole class was looking at her. Some were even giggling at her behaviour.

But her eyes scanned the room and she glanced over to a guy sitting right at the other end of the classroom.

She pouted sadly when she saw him giggling too.

“Jiyeon?” The teacher called her again to catch her attention.

Jiyeon stood up and bowed apologetically, “I’m sorry.”

“Listen to class, pretty young lady.”

Jiyeon smiled in embarrassment and bowed once again, “Sorry~”

“Sit down now.” Her teacher smiled warmly and continued the lesson as usual. Jiyeon was a good student, so teachers wouldn’t even want to destroy her good records.

Students loved her too. She is friendly and sociable to people around her which made her lovable. That was her personality since birth.

She doesn’t mind being a social butterfly in school, but what she wanted was to catch his attention. That guy who was sitting at the far end of her class and giggled at her when she got embarrassed.

Now her impression on him just dropped even further.

After the class was being dismissed, Jiyeon packed her belongings up slowly, taking her own sweet time. She has nowhere to go after school, so she doesn’t have to rush out.

“Hey.”

Jiyeon stopped her actions as she tensed up at that voice. The voice she was so familiar with.

“Jiyeon?”

She gulped nervously and plastered a smile on her face before turning to him. Her heart was beating crazily all over the place, again. “Hey, Myungsoo…”

“Are you done with school now? No clubs?” Myungsoo tilted his head to the side which Jiyeon found it too cute. She even had to hide her hands behind her back to stop herself from touching his face without consent.

“Yup… How about you?”

“Nope~ I’m going off too!”

Jiyeon smiled and packed her stuffs even slower, to prolong the time with him.

“How about going out for a lunch with me?”

She widened her eyes and stared at him in shock, “Lunch? You and me? Alone?”

Myungsoo chuckled while nodding his head in amazement, “Yes, you and me, alone. How’s that?”

Jiyeon sped her actions up and packed her belongings all into her bag, “CALL! Just you wait, I’m going to pack all these things up in just 3 seconds! 3… 2… 1! DONE!”

Myungsoo laughed even brighter when he saw all of that. He even had to use his fist to cover his opened mouth. “You… Pff-hahahaha~”

Jiyeon gasped in shocked when she realized what she had done. “Oh god… I just did some silly actions, did I?! Erase all that!”

Myungsoo nodded his head while laughing and picked his bag up, “I will… Maybe not now…” And he laughed all over again.

Jiyeon pouted sadly and followed him out of the classroom, “Myungsoo~ Stop laughing at me already~”

Myungsoo tried hard to stop but he just couldn’t. In the end, Jiyeon listened to his laughter all the way until the junction before he finally stopped. “Alright… Alright…”

“You’ve been laughing at me for about 8 minutes, Myungsoo.”

Myungsoo chuckled and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, “Your actions just got stuck in my mind. It was so cute.”

“Cute…?”

Myungsoo gasped inwardly and stared at her red cheeks in embarrassment, “Erm… I mean… It’s funny.”

“Oh…” Jiyeon pouted sadly and crossed the road when the ‘traffic man’ turned green, “Just funny…”

Myungsoo gulped and jogged over to her side before walking right next to her. “So… Where shall we have our lunch?”

“Hmmm…” Jiyeon thought about it while scanning the environment, “How about that mall?” She pointed to the mall down the street with a bright smile, “We can shop around after we ate!”

“Alright!” Myungsoo beamed and pulled her wrist before walking down the street, unconsciously.

Jiyeon stared at his hand and she swore her blood just rushed up to her cheeks. Without knowing, a bright smile was tugged on her face then.

“Is that fast-food restaurant okay?”

Jiyeon looked at where he was pointing and shook her head with a pout, “I can’t eat fried stuffs. I can’t eat too oily food. My mom told me to watch my diet. She said I’m gaining weight.”

“Really?” Myungsoo raised his brow while chuckling at her reason. “You don’t look fat though. You’re so skinny!”

Jiyeon blushed even deeper and looked around the mall, “How about that? It’s not oily, and it’s good for dieting girl!”

Myungsoo saw where she was pointing to and nodded his head. “Okay~ That restaurant it will be~”

Jiyeon beamed and pulled him over to the restaurant quickly. This time round, it was Myungsoo to stare at their hands, and had his face rushed up with blood.

“Hmmm~ What shall we order?”

Myungsoo giggled and looked through the menu, “This. It’s good for dieting.” He pointed to a dish of grilled salmon with herb sauce.

“Really? Grilled?”

“I guess. Aigoo~ At least this is something nutritious! And it comes with an herb sauce!” Myungsoo chuckled and Jiyeon nodded her head in bliss, “Alrighty then! Grilled salmon it is! How about you, Myungsoo?”

“I think I’m getting that too. It looked delicious.”

Jiyeon smiled and waved the waiter over to order their food. Their food arrived quickly since there weren’t many customers at that time. They even gobbled down their food as they were hungry.

All of a sudden, Jiyeon felt a huge sting in her heart. She took in a huge breath and held tightly onto her bag. “Myungsoo, I’ll go to the washroom a while.”

Myungsoo nodded his head, oblivious to her pain, and continued eating his food.

Jiyeon gripped onto the sink as she could feel her heart stinging a lot. She stumbled onto the floor as she tried to pull out her bottle of medicine.

“Stop…” She even hit her chest since it was too painful and finally got hold of her medicine. She tugged two pills out and gulped them down quickly. That was when the pain stopped.

“Argh…” She wiped her sweats off and stood up from the floor while holding onto the counter for support. “Stop for now… Please…”

The pain went away soon, and she stared at her reflection in the mirror. “At least let me have some romance…”

She splashed the cold water on her face multiple times to cool herself down before exiting the washroom, heading back to her table.

“You okay? You went in for quite a long time.”

Jiyeon beamed and nodded her head enthusiastically, “Of course! Just had to wait… You know… Girl.”

Myungsoo chuckled at her response, “Yeah, I got it.”

Jiyeon continued her food and they left the restaurant after finishing their dessert. It was a set, together with their meal.

“Where shall we go now?”

Jiyeon looked around and spotted a kid’s store, “THERE!” With that, she pulled Myungsoo to that store.

All Myungsoo could think of was how cute she looked at that moment. “You’re going to a kid’s store?”

“Why not?! I love the teddy inside!” Jiyeon beamed and touched the plushie in the stores. “They’re so cute! Look! This looked like you!” She picked up a Crong plushie and placed it next to his face, only to burst out into laughter the next moment.

“This looked like me?!”

Jiyeon stopped laughing when she saw how serious she turned into. “Erm… YES!” She laughed in happiness and ran around the store, with Myungsoo chasing right behind her.

He finally caught up with her and pushed her against the wall beside a shelf full of Crong’s plushie. They panted badly while laughing at their silliness and finally caught each other’s eyes after that.

Myungsoo got caught up in the moment and so, he leaned forward slowly, trying to get his lips on top of hers.

Jiyeon was mesmerized by his eye contact deeply but she snapped out of her thoughts at the very last minute. She placed the Crong plushie she was holding in between their lips and Myungsoo kissed its head instead.

He turned red and pulled back while chuckling awkwardly and Jiyeon pretended nothing had happened. “Let’s go now~” She placed the Crong back to it’s place and left the store with Myungsoo right behind her.

*What are you doing, Kim Myungsoo?! Stupid!*

After walking around the mall, they finally decided to head back home.

“Where do you stay? I can send you home.”

Jiyeon shook her head to reject him, feeling bad, but Myungsoo insisted. “Come on, maybe we live near?”

“Well… I lived in the apartment near. So it’s near from here. I can go back on my own.”

Myungsoo beamed and interlocked their hands together before pulling her out of the mall, “Let’s go then. I lived near that area too.”

Jiyeon turned red, once again, at their intimate contact and followed him closely all the way back to her apartment.

“There, I stay up there, on the 8th storey.” Jiyeon pointed to her apartment for him to understand.

“I see~” Myungsoo got it at once and pulled her into the apartment building. He pressed the lift and walked in with her but Jiyeon kept the door opened.

“Aren’t you going home?”

“I’ll send you to your door.” Myungsoo giggled and pressed the 8th floor button before closing it.

“Why are you so good to me?”

Myungsoo caught it and so, he turned his body to face her. Right when he was about to answer her question, the lift opened at the 8th storey.

Myungsoo tugged her hands out with him and sent her to her door. “Isn’t it obvious?”

Jiyeon frowned and turned around to face him, “What’s obvious?”

“Isn’t it obvious that I like you?”

“You do?!” Jiyeon gasped in shock and widened her eyes in surprise. She wouldn’t ever imagine her feelings would be return.

“Of course. Otherwise, I wouldn’t spend my whole day with you, right?”

Jiyeon smiled and looked down shyly, “That’s true…”

“I’ve been noticing you for a long time already, ever since the start of school. You always caught my eyes when you were smiling or giggling to yourself in the class. I love how you’re sociable and friendly to your classmates. You always amused me, Jiyeon. I really love you by my side.”

Jiyeon giggled in bliss and glanced at him shyly, “Actually… I feel the same way too…”

Myungsoo beamed in relief that his feeling was returned and pulled her closer to him, “Does that mean you like me too?”

“Maybe more than that though.” Jiyeon giggled before continuing her speech, “I think I love you.”

“Don’t think.” Myungsoo whispered in amusement as he could feel his heart bursting in happiness. “Just love me, and I love you too.”

“Right.” Jiyeon leaned closer to him and placed her chin on his chest to look up at him lovingly, “I love you.”

“That’s right, babe.” Myungsoo gave her lips a light peck and wrapped his arms around her waist tightly, “I can’t possibly let you go in now. I will miss you.”

Jiyeon brightened up and thought of an idea at once, “Want to come in?”

“Eo? I can?” Myungsoo replied in surprise and tucked her hair behind her ear, “Isn’t your parents at home?”

“Nope, they’re long gone.” Jiyeon giggled and opened the door for the both of them.

“I’m sorry about that.”

“It’s alright.” Jiyeon pulled him in and
