Myungyeon

Story about a boss and his maid. A cold and heartless Myungsoo that don’t give a damn at maids... but different to Jiyeon... they grow attached and feel something for each other     

“Get out.”

“B-But… You-Young Master…”

“I said get out.”

“But… But Madam…”

“GET OUT!”

The maid rushed out of his room at once, after being scolded so harshly by Myungsoo for nothing she had done wrong.

She ran back to the kitchen, crying hardly, and madam saw it.

“What’s wrong, Heejin-ah?”

“I can’t do this anymore… I’m sorry, madam…”

“Did Myungsoo yell at you again?”

“I’m sorry…”

“It’s not your fault.” Mrs. Kim sighed as she patted Heejin’s back, “It’s alright. I’ll swap you with someone else alright? You can do the kitchen chores.”

“T-THANK YOU, MADAM! THANK YOU!”

Mrs. Kim could only smile at her reaction, sadly. *That son of mine… He and his attitude!*

“Then that stupid son of mine will need to be alone for a few days for now.”

“Erm… Actually… No… It’s nothing…”

“What is it? Tell me!”

“It’s nothing, madam.”

Mrs. Kim caught her expression at once, “Do you have someone to introduce to the job?”

“Actually… Yes…” Heejin bit her lips sadly, not knowing if she really should introduce her friend over to work for the difficult young master.

“Really?! Do you think she will be alright with the job? Will she take it? Can she handle it?”

“I’m not sure…” Heejin whispered, “But she is the most cheerful person I’ve ever met. Erm… I can ask her if she wants to join us.”

“Would you ask her for me?”

“Of course I can, madam.”

“Great! I hope she will be able to work for a long time too. It’s so difficult getting someone to serve my son.”

Heejin could only smile at her words. *Yes. Young master is really difficult to handle. And I think only someone like Jiyeon can handle him.*

“Madam.”

“Ah! What’s wrong, Heejin? Is everything okay with the kitchen?”

“Yes, madam!”

“It’s good then!” Mrs. Kim smiled and returned to her newspaper.

“Madam, actually…”

She placed her newspaper back down onto her laps and looked up at her with a smile. In the household, only Mrs. Kim had the best personality. Well, Myungsoo took after his dad, of course.

Cold and fierce.

“Yeah? What is it?”

“My friend I’ve told you about? Her name is Park Jiyeon, and she’s 21 this year. She’s looking for a job now for her university, and she would gladly work for young master this holiday. Is it possible for her to work these 3 months first?”

“Really?! She would work here?!”

“Yes, madam.”

“Great! Ask her to come tomorrow morning! I’ll handle the paper works when she got here and she can begins tomorrow! Is it possible for her to start working tomorrow though?”

“Yes. She’s quite free now, madam.”

“That’s awesome!”

“But is the 3 months…”

“Don’t worry! I would be glad if she didn’t flee during the first week. Three months is more than enough!” Mrs. Kim was so happy.

She finally found a new maid for Myungsoo, and hopefully, she would be able to serve him for the three months indeed.

Jiyeon arrived early morning the next day, only to be surprised by the huge house in front of her. She even called Heejin to make sure she was in the right place.

“Unnie!”

“Yeah? Jiyeon-ah! Are you here now?”

“Are you sure you gave me the right address?! Unnie! This place is so huge!”

“Yes, they have huge house!” Heejin giggled and ran over to the side gate. She opened it and there she was, her best friend was standing out there. “Jiyeon-ah!”

“Unnie! It’s really this house!”

“Of course!” Heejin pulled her in at once, and proudly showed her around. “Got the whole house in your brain already?”

“Yup!”

“Jiyeon-ah, I’m sorry I introduced this job to you.”

“Why are you sorry, unnie? It’s a job!”

“But you don’t understand. Young Master is no joke.”

“Young Master? You call him that in the house?”

“Yup. He has a cold attitude, and he’s the most annoying prick I’ve ever met.” Heejin whispered, only to make Jiyeon giggle.

“No worries, unnie. I have the best patience ever, and you know it too!”

“Yes. So I introduced this job to you. If you can’t take it, just quit it, hmm?”

“Alright, unnie. Don’t worry about me! Go back to your work!”

“Okay. Just go to the study room, okay? Madam is there.”

“Study room?”

“You remembered where it is, don’t you?”

“I have great brain, unnie.” Jiyeon smiled and pushed Heejin back to the kitchen, before walking up the stairs. Truthfully, she has no idea where it was.

The house was just too big, so big that it could cause some direction lost.

Jiyeon walked down the empty corridor, admiring the artwork being hung on the wall along the way. Well, she loved art.

She has a thing for art alright.

But as she had her eyes elsewhere, she knocked onto something she shouldn’t and fell onto the ground, first.

Jiyeon pouted sadly while rubbing her pained , and tried standing up, “I’m sorry I knocked into you.”

She tilted her head up, only to find a male figure in front of her.

His attire was a t-shirt and a pair of long pants, with his bed hair on his head. It was cute to her. Jiyeon giggled at his appearance before stretching her hand up to fix his hair, “Did you just wake up? You have such fluffy hair! Ah! Are you the young master?”

The man simply stared at her blankly.

But his heart was beating wildly.

His heart was jumping and accelerating when he felt her hand on his head.

But he managed to compose himself soon after. “Who are you?”

“I’m the new maid!”

“New maid?”

“Yes! I’m going to serve you from now on, young master!” Jiyeon giggled and bowed politely, before skipping down the corridor to search for the study room.

Myungsoo stared at her until she disappeared around the corner.

He brought a hand up to his chest, placing it against his loud pumping heart. “What is this…?”

Only after a few minutes did he shook his thoughts away, and walked down to get a drink for himself. He finished it, placed it down onto the table, and walked back to his room.

Jumping back down onto his bed, he was about to fall into deep slumber already, but a loud voice woke him up.

“GOOD MORNING, YOUNG MASTER~”

Myungsoo jumped up from his bed and stared at the intruder, only to realize it was the new girl he met just now.

“What’s wrong with you?”

“What’s wrong with me?”

“It’s 8 in the morning.”

“Yup! And did you hear this before? An early bird catches the worm!”

“And?”

“And you have to wake up early so you can catch the worm!” Jiyeon pulled him down from his bed, and looked around his room.

“What are you looking for now? And what’s your name? Why aren’t you in the maid uniform?”

“Your wardrobe! Where is it?!”

“I only have a walk-in closet.” Myungsoo walked over to the door in front of his bed, opened it, and brought shock to Jiyeon immediately.

“THIS IS YOUR WARDROBE?!”

Myungsoo flinched in surprise again. “Don’t shout into my ears! And you haven’t answered my questions.”

“Well~ I’m Park Jiyeon! 21 years old! And there’s no more maid uniforms for now so madam told me just to come in my own clothes!” Jiyeon giggled sheepishly before twirling into the closet, “But this is so cool! I only have a wardrobe to myself! And you have a few dozens of clothes more than me!”

Myungsoo watched her movements while leaning against the door frame. *She’s quite cute…*

“Young master! Come on in! Let me choose your outfit for today!”

“Today?”

“Yup!”

“Where am I going?”

“Madam told me to get you ready for the concert tonight! You’re going to watch it with your blind date!”

“Seriously?!”

“Yup! Madam told me that just now.”

“I don’t mean that.”

“Then what do you mean?”

“The concert is tonight and you’re getting me ready now? There are 12 more hours to the concert time.” Myungsoo crossed his arms and smirked at her, since she was getting embarrassed.

“I… I don’t mean you should wear it now!” Jiyeon cooed, covering her mistakes immediately. “I mean… I mean to choose an outfit for you now! That’s all! And you can go back to sleep!”

“Oh? Really~?”

“YES!” Jiyeon screamed with her eyes closed, and that brought laughter to him at once.

“Seriously…” He shook his head with a smile on his face, only after he had turned around. “Choose it then. I’ll be waiting outside to judge your fashion sense.”

“HA! Count it on me! I’m an art student alright!” Jiyeon was at least proud of that.

She chose the outfit for him, and brought it out for him to credit. But he wasn’t satisfied. “The colour of the suit doesn’t suit me.”

Jiyeon had her jaws dropped, “Then why did you even buy this suit?”
