Pairing: Daeyeon (Daehyun,Jiyeon) & Myungsoo

Plot: Daehyun and Jiyeon is a childhood friends, they like each other but not brave to tell each other. when they grow up, Daehyun want to confess to Jiyeon, but L already confess to Jiyeon and Jiyeon accept him but Jiyeon still like Daehyun. 
and , L knows it , they broke up and L told Jiyeon to go to Daehyun. And then Jiyeon say to Daehyun that she likes him , and they dating. 

“Daehyunnie~”

A sweet voice of a 5 year old girl was heard.

Daehyun turned around from where he was standing and saw his best friend running down the stairs with her little feet.

He dashed to stairs immediately and caught her when she lost her balance on the last third step of the stairs.

He knew this would happen.

This little girl in front of him was clumsy. And he would always be his prince charming to catch her on time.

“Omma told you not to jump down the stairs before, Jiyeonie!” He huffed and pulled away from the hug when she finally balanced herself.

Jiyeon smiled brightly, “BUT YOU CATCH ME! PRINCE!”

Daehyun smiled at that comment and felt his heart racing. “What was that…?” He mumbled and placed a hand over his little chest to feel his heartbeat.

“HM?” Jiyeon heard him but that that clearly since he mumbled. He just shook his head and shrugged it off.

This 5 year old boy just fell in love with his best friend, but he didn’t know yet.

“DAEHYUNNIE~”

She was 9 years old now, and she’s still the same old girl.

Daehyun ran to the stairs and caught her at once, “what did I say?”

“No running down the stairs.” Jiyeon pouted and looked down shamefully. “But my prince caught me again!”

And once again, Daehyun felt his heart racing when he heard that. It had always been this way.

Since they were young, Daehyun always caught her from falling down and she would always call him her prince charming. And Daehyun’s heart would race as if it was a car in a racing competition.

“It’s beating fast again…” Daehyun mumbled to himself once more and made Jiyeon clueless, like always.

“HM?”

“Nothing~ Let’s go to the park!”

Daehyun shrugged it off again and dragged her to the park to enjoy their day out in the sun.

The 9 year old boy still loves her, but he still didn’t realize it.

“DAEHYUNNIE, PRINCE CHARMING~~~” Jiyeon hopped down the stairs happily again.

“Stop jumping down already! I’m not gonna catch you every time!” Daehyun hissed playfully but still rushed to the stairs to catch her.

“See! We’re 18 this year already! Stop being such a kid. You’re always falling but you can’t stop jumping.” He scolded as he crossed his arms and looked elsewhere.

Jiyeon pouted and tugged on his sleeves, “prince charming?”

Daehyun peeked at her and saw her sulking face. And almost at once, his heart melted. “Fine fine, be careful next time okay? I can’t be here to catch you forever!”

Jiyeon giggled and hugged him tightly, “YAY~ PRINCE CHARMING IS THE BEST!”

Daehyun willingly wound his arms around her while having his heart raced faster than before.

Jiyeon pulled away when she saw a butterfly in the garden and ran towards it, leaving Daehyun alone in the living room.

Daehyun placed his hand on his chest and panted slightly, “Is this what they called love? It must be. I love her.”

Now, the 18 year old boy understood and realized his feelings. Finally.

“Daehyunnie~ your house is always full of pretty things!” She chirped and urged Daehyun to follow her.

Daehyun shook out of his day-dreaming and ran over to his princess. “It’s our house you’re talking about, princess.”

“Prince charming~ I like your house! I want to live here forever!” Jiyeon giggled while trying to chase the butterfly.

Daehyun followed her footsteps closely and grinned. He liked the idea of hers, “then you can live here forever.”

Jiyeon giggled happily and dashed towards his direction, giving up the butterfly-catching-mission, “YAY~” She cheered loudly while jumping onto him for a bear hug.

Daehyun caught her on time and huffed, “stop giving me surprises, what if you fall?”

Jiyeon shook her head and buried her face into his neck, “you will catch me every time when I fall.”

Daehyun smiled at her response and trust and settled both of them down on the garden’s bench.

Looking at the beautiful garden together, they sat down side by side with arms linked and heads on each other’s shoulders.

“I love this moment.”

“Me too.”

Finally night fell and Jiyeon prepared to return back to her house, which was just right down the street.

She wanted to stay over badly, just like before, but there’s school the next day.

“You really don’t need me to bring you home? It’s late and you’re clumsy, babo.”

Jiyeon glared at him playfully and ran off, “BYE~ SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR SCHOOL~”

Well, she wanted him to fetch her home badly.

She wanted to prolong the time with him badly.

But she didn’t want him to see her flushing red face.

“Park Jiyeon… Park Jiyeon… Stop blushing! He won’t ever like you! You’re clumsy and all, but he’s perfect. Stop dreaming!” She patted her cheeks to wake her up and walked home with a deep sigh.

“That’s right. Daehyunnie wouldn’t like me. Just give it up, babo.”

She gave up confessing her love as she’s afraid to lose the friendship with her beloved. She would rather be with him as best friend status rather than strangers.

Ever since she called him ‘prince charming’, he had always been her prince at heart.

That’s right. What she didn’t know was the same feelings Daehyun felt. If they confessed to each other, their feelings would be reciprocated.

Its how all best friends felt, isn’t it?

Years after years of being best friends, they gradually fell in love with each other but just because they’re afraid to lose each other, they kept quiet about it and in the end, they still lose each other when they found their partners of life.

Jiyeon thought so. She wanted Daehyun to be included in her life forever so she kept numb, afraid of being rejected.

However, that’s not what Daehyun felt.

He prepared a teddy bear holding onto a box of chocolates and decided to confess to her after school the next day.

Feeling super happy in the morning, Daehyun literally skipped to school while humming along his favorite song. He clutched onto his bag straps tightly and looked back to take a look at his bag, making sure it’s protected and secured.

“Park Jiyeon, I hope you would like it.”

He entered the classroom and saw Jiyeon laughing at some jokes the guy sitting to her right was telling her. He frowned at their closeness and moved forward to her table to greet her.

Jiyeon’s eyes literally sparkled when she saw him and ran to hug him tightly, “Daehyunnie prince charming is here!”

Daehyun laughed and patted her back gently, “good morning to you too, princess~”

Soon, the teacher entered the classroom and told all to settle down so she can begin her lesson.

“Let’s start the lesson, shall we?”

Some students groaned and some students cheered. Daehyun kept silent while peeking at Jiyeon but what he saw made him felt bad. Jiyeon was talking to her seat-mate again.

“It’s okay, Daehyun-ah.”

Lessons continued till end of the day and finally, school ended.

Daehyun ran about the whole school to find his best friend since their last lesson was different and finally found her back-view in their favorite garden.

He wanted to run to her at once and grab her into his embrace but when his vision was clear of the whole garden, he saw Jiyeon talking to her seat-mate.

He tried to walk closer to them and attempted to eavesdrop on them and he did.

But what he heard wasn’t what he wanted to hear.

“Jiyeon-ah. I’ve been noticing you for long and I really wanted to go out with you. Would you like to go out with me? As my girlfriend?”

Daehyun’s heart shattered into pieces when he saw Jiyeon nodding her head shyly. “Yes, Myungsoo.”
