Pairing: Baekhyun, Heo Seorin/Myungyeon

Plot: Baekhyun and Seorin have been together for 2 years. They love each other so much to the point that they can't live without each other. On their 2 years anniversary, Baekhyun doesn't know about what he should get for Seorin. And Jiyeon, Baekhyun's cousin who just came back from US helped Baekhyun to find something for Seorin. But when they were looking for a present for Seorin, Seorin accidentally saw them together and misunderstood Baekhyun for cheating on her. Baekhyun also saw her crying while staring at him so he ran after her. Baekhyun was angry because Seorin didn't believe him so he accidentally raised his voice on her. Seorin then wanted a break up. The next few days, no matter how hard Baekhyun was trying to apologize, Seorin would avoid him.

“HEO SEORIN~ WHERE ARE YOU~ YOUR MONSTER IS COMING~ COME ON OUT~”

Seorin placed her fist over her lips to stifle her laughter back. She was currently hiding in below her bed, her favourite place of hiding when they were playing hide-and-seek.

Yes, you’ve heard it right.

The duo was playing hide-and-seek, right in their own apartment, at the age of 21. She demanded to play it, and he had no objections since she was his priority. It had always been her favourite game among others, and she never got sick of it.

“YOUR BAEKHYUN IS COMING~”

Right when he said that, Baekhyun appeared right in front of her and surprised her madly, “BOOOOO! CAUGHT YA!”

Seorin, being surprised at his sudden act, jumped up and hit her own head against the bottom of her bed. “OWIE!”

Baekhyun gasped in shock and tugged onto her arm, “Seorin, come out. Let me take a look.”

Seorin rolled out from under her bed and looked up at him with her pouty lips. Baekhyun laughed mad at her untidy appearance and cuddled her in his arms, while rubbing onto the back of her head gently.

“You should know I can find you every time, why are you still so shocked?!”

“It just happened…” Heorin was whining at the sting on her bed, and Baekhyun giggled even harder at her reaction.

“Stop laughing, Baekie! It’s your fault! Now it’ll grow a bump!”

“Okay okay~ I’m sorry~” Baekhyun cooed softly while picked her over to her bed. “Now now, let me take a look.” He brushed her hair off and saw a bump instead. “It’s small, love. Don’t worry, it’ll be gone soon. Let me get an ice pack for you, hmm?”

Seorin pulled his wrist even before he could exit the room and showed him her famous puppy eyes, “Kiss it first.”

Baekhyun let out a genuine smile and pecked the bump gently, “There. It’ll turn better now. I’ll be right back.”

Seorin stared at his retreating figure and lay back down on the bed comfortably. She even made an attempt to roll around in bliss, “Baekie is the best!”

“I know~” Baekhyun sang and walked to her side with the pack of ice in his hands.

“Baekie! You’re fast!”

“I got it prepared since I know you will be all clumsy again.” He smirked before sitting down on the bed by her side. He made her body facing down before placing the ice pack on her bump.

“Baekie~~~ That’s mean~”

“It’s the truth anyway.” He laughed and rubbed the ice pack slowly, “Does it still hurt?”

“No~” Heorin shivered, “But it’s cold on my head! I’ll get a brain freeze soon!”

“This girl…” Baekhyun took the pack up for her head to cool down before placing the pack on it again, “Seriously. What will you do without me?”

“I have no idea, Baekie~ So don’t ever leave me!”

“I won’t, love.” Baekhyun leaned his body on her back and played with her hair, “I won’t ever leave you. I love you so much.”

“I love you too, Baekie! So much so much so much~ No one could ever compare with me!”

“I know.” Baekhyun giggled and lift the ice pack again. He checked the bump and indeed, it turned slightly better. “Great. The bump is going off soon.”

“That’s fast~” Seorin giggled and buried her head into the soft pillow, “Thanks to Baekie!”

“Of course.” Baekhyun leaned his head over to hers and puckered his lips up, “Now where’s my reward?”

Seorin laughed and pecked his lips, giving him a passionate kiss. “Ja~ Reward, reward!”

“Hmmmm~” Baekhyun smiled in bliss and hugged her tightly in his arms, trapping her in between his legs, “Best present ever.”

They continued their small chats that night on the bed, before she finally fell asleep on him. Baekhyun admired her feature for a little longer before he too, fell asleep.

They were still in a relationship, but due to demand from both of them, they decided to move in together. Seorin moved into his apartment, as he wanted, and they had been living together for one and a half year now.

The both of them can’t live without each other, literally.

Baekhyun just ended his work, and he was about to head back home, to the arms of his love, but he thought of something he should do terribly.

*Second anniversary is coming! I need to get her something!*

“Oh God… What should I get her?” Baekhyun sighed and headed over to the mall instead. Of course, he lied to her that he had something to grab at the mall before going back home. She agreed at once, and demanded him to get a cake for her too.

Baekhyun walked around the mall but found nothing that caught his eyes.

During their first anniversary, it was Seorin who surprised him with an event in the park instead. She brought him over to the park and showed him the area she decorated. It was filled with balloons on the grass, and the rose petals were in the middle, decorated as a heart shaped.

This time round, he wanted to surprise her instead. But he had no idea what he should do. Doing the same event would be boring. On top of that, he even thought of proposing her on the special date.

But what should he do?

He had no idea what to do since he was so dense at such things.

After walking around for another hour in the huge mall, nothing caught his eyes. He knew she wasn’t materialistic, so buying clothes or accessories for her would be a waste. He knew she loved events and surprises.

All of the sudden, he received a new message on his phone.

Baekhyun raised a brow at that unknown number. He opened the message and found out that is was just a simple message with a photo attached.

“BACONIE~~~~~~~ LOOK WHO IS BACK?!”

“What the hell? Who is this? Bacon?”

He opened the attached photo and gasped in surprise.

“PARK JIYEON!?”

It was his cousin, he enjoyed playing with so much with when he was younger. He punched in her number at once and called her. In just one ring, she picked her phone up.

“BACON!”

“JIDINO!”

“YAH! STOP CALLING ME THAT!” Jiyeon yelled in rage, “BACON!!!!!!!”

“Alright alright. Stop yelling, baby sis.”

Jiyeon smiled brightly at his greeting for her, “I missed you so much, big brother. Want to meet up? I want to see you!”

“Right on time.” Baekhyun giggled as he thought of an idea, “I have to see you too. When do you want to meet? I have to go back home now, my girl is waiting.”

“Psh!” Jiyeon scoffed playfully, “I HAVE A BOY TOO!”

“Wow~ Dino is growing up~”

“I can see our bacon growing up too!” Jiyeon sang and teased in return. “Let’s meet tomorrow okay? Call me again!”

Baekhyun chuckled at her request playfully, “No problem. See you tomorrow, hmm~”

“Okay~~~”

They hung the call that way. Baekhyun chuckled playfully as he strolled back home. He had a bright smile on his face the whole route home, and entered the apartment with a light feeling.

“BAEKIE BAEKIE! WHERE’S MY CAKE?!”

Of course he wouldn’t forget her mini request.

How could he?

“Here you go, love.” Baekhyun showed her the box he held in his hand and she grabbed it over quickly, even without sending him any kisses for reward.

Baekhyun stood behind her, right at the door, with a sad pout on his face. “Kiss me, baby.”

Seorin stopped her movements and turned over to look at her boyfriend, only to see a childish guy in front of her again.

She sighed playfully before skipping over to him and gave his cheek a long peck. “LOVE YOU~”

“That’s more like it.” Baekhyun giggled and wrapped his arms around her waist before dragging her over to the dining table, where she last placed her box of cake.

He helped her with the cake while she sat on the dining table, waiting for him patiently. “Baekie, Baekie~ You know what’s happening this Sunday?”

Of course he would know!

“Hmmm? What’s on Sunday? Last episode of your favourite drama?”

Seorin frowned while rolling her eyes sadly, “BAEKIE!”

“I don’t remember… What’s so important?” He let out a feign ignorance, but he was laughing inwardly.

He wanted so much to just reply her and ease her worries, but he had to keep it in for the surprise he was about to discuss with his favourite cousin.

“It’s okay.” Seorin sighed and dug into her cake. She had lost her appetite for it, but she wouldn’t show it to him, even though he already realized it.

Baekhyun gave her head a light peck before walking into his bathroom to take a shower from his tired day.

Out of the sudden, his phone rang, and of course she would pick it up.

“Hello, this is Baekhyun’s phone!”

A girl gasped was heard and she mumbled slightly, “Erm… Where is he?”

“He’s showering now, who’s this?”

“Oh, just tell him Jiyeon called!” Jiyeon announced and hung the call up, abruptly, leaving Seorin frowning in confusion at her spot.
