A knock was heard from the door and Jiyeon went to open it since she’s being awoken by that knock. She wanted to scold the culprit badly but when she opened the door, nothing came out from .

How could she scold a cute little brother of hers?

Well, not hers, but he’s her neighbor and he’s younger than her by 2 years.

“Sehunie?”

Sehun was holding onto a plate of covered breakfast with a wide smile on her face, “Jiyeon noona! Sehunie is here~”

He welcomed himself and entered her house, as if it’s his own.

Jiyeon didn’t mind though, since he’s just like her family.

“My mom said your parents are not in Korea, so we have to take care of you now! My mom told me to bring this breakfast to you!”

Jiyeon grinned in happiness and hugged Sehun tightly, “Awwww~ Help me thank your mom, alright?  Tell her I love her a lot!”

She let go the next second and sat down on the dining table quickly. Pulling open the covers, she used her hand to eat the sandwich wrapped with bacon and egg immediately.

Sehun giggled and sat opposite from her, “Noona, you didn’t brush your teeth yet, it’s dirty~”

Jiyeon waved it off and took another bite even though was full, “nobody and nothing can stop me from eating! Especially it’s your mom’s food!”

Sehun laughed even harder and went into the kitchen to fetch her one cup of coffee, “I know noona loves coffee too.”

Jiyeon looked at Sehun with grateful eyes and took a sip of that coffee, “you treat me the best, Sehunie. I love you a lot too~”

“I love you too, noona~!” Sehun grinned that wide till his eyes were gone.

That’s right.

With Sehun’s family as neighbor, Jiyeon couldn’t be more grateful than anything else. His family always took care of her when her parents were not in town.

And she would too, sometimes help them out whenever she’s free in their restaurant just opposite their house.

“Sehun-ah!” A knock was heard again with soft voices from the outside.

Sehun went to open the door and it showed his mother who had a wide smile on her face, “done giving your noona food? We have to open the restaurant now, and your Luhan gege is here.”

Sehun’s ears perked up at that name.

His favorite cousin was in town!

He was a Chinese and stayed in China but during his holidays, he would come over to Korea for vacation, and to see his favorite cousin.

“LUHAN GEGE!!!!!” Sehun left Jiyeon alone and ran back to his house, too happy to see his cousin.

“Right, Jiyeon-ah. How’s the food?”

Jiyeon finished up her last bites and bowed in front of his mother, “Thank you, ommonim! It’s delicious~” She even showed her two thumb-ups to show her gratitude.

“I’m glad you like it, Jiyeon-ah. I’m going to open the restaurant now, see you around alright?”

Jiyeon giggled and waved back, “I’ll help you after I get ready! Be there in 5 minutes!”

Sehun’s mother shook her head but a big smile was tugged on her face, “such a responsible kid.”

Indeed, Jiyeon was done in a few minutes and she dashed out to the restaurant immediately.

“I’m here~”

“Eo? Jiyeon-ah?”

“Yes, ommonim! Jiyeon’s here~”

“Okay~” Sehun’s mother came out from the kitchen with a wet rag, “you don’t have to come here every single day, Jiyeon-ah.”

Jiyeon just shook her head and picked up the mop in the storeroom, “I’m okay with it, ommonim! I’m free today anyway! It’s weekend! It’s not like I have school today~”

Sehun’s mother giggled and wiped the tables with that rag she’s holding, “I will be damn happy if Sehun’s this responsible like you.”

Jiyeon winked at her and giggled lightly, “I’m your daughter too, ommonim~ Stop caring about Sehunie only~”

Sehun’s mother laughed out loud and nodded her head approvingly, “that’s right. You’re my daughter too~ You know I love you more than Sehun, right?”

“OMMA! HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT~~?” Sehun went into the restaurant at the last minute just right on time to hear her mom’s confession.

“Too bad~ I love Jiyeon more than you~” Her mom poked her tongue at him playfully, “but if you help Jiyeon with the mopping, I would love you more~”

Sehun brightened up immediately and snatched the mop from Jiyeon, “go and rest, noona! Sehunie is here to help omma!”

Jiyeon laughed along with the adult but she noticed some guys’ laughter behind it too.

She turned around and saw a blonde-haired guy and a black-haired guy standing beside each other, by the door.

“Eo? We’re not open yet though.” She tilted her head sideways, and showed them a confused face.

Sehun laughed, alongside the two guys and his mom, and went over to her quickly. He placed his arms on her shoulders and leaned on his palm easily, “That’s my cousin, Luhan gege.” He pointed to the blond-haired guy first, before pointing to the black haired guy, “and that’s my friend, Baekhyun hyung!”

Jiyeon looked away in embarrassment while squeezing her eyes shut.

How she felt like killing Sehun at that moment!

“And Luhan gege, Baekhyun hyung! This is my neighbor, Park Jiyeon! Noona is also studying at your school, Baekhyun hyung!”

“Oh? Really?” Baekhyun asked in return and looked at Jiyeon again, “I didn’t see her before. Did you see me before?”

Jiyeon finally return the gaze and smiled lightly, “I’ve transferred to your school not long ago so I’m still new to it. I guess that’s why you didn’t see me before, Bae…con?” She tried to pronounce his name but it turned out otherwise.

Sehun and Luhan laughed hard at her and patted his shoulders, “OH MY GOSH!!! HAHAHA!!! BACON!”

Jiyeon bit her lips shyly and looked at the red-faced Baekhyun, “it’s not that? Oh God, I at pronouncing people name! I’m so sorry! What’s your name again?”

“Baek-hyun.”

“Bae-con?”

Another round of laughter burst out again.

“Oh Gosh, I’m so sorry.” Jiyeon bowed and bowed as apology but Baekhyun just smiled it off with his red cheeks.

*BABO PARK JIYEON! HE MUST HATE YOU NOW! HE’S SO EMBARRASSED THANKS TO YOU, PARK JIYEON!!!!!*

“Just call me Bacon then.” Baekhyun smiled in return which made Jiyeon looked at him in awe. She thought she just heard her own heartbeat increasing just by looking at his smile.

*He’s not angry?! Perfect guy…*

“You… You’re not angry?”

Baekhyun shook his head and shrugged, “I got that name a lot, its fine with me.”

Sehun giggled and patted her head, “hyung’s older than you by a year. Gege is also older than you, but by 2 years! So call Bacon oppa, and Luhan gege okay, noona?”

Jiyeon blinked at him and nodded her head obediently, “Okay… Bacon oppa, Luhan gege~”

Baekhyun and Luhan smiled and patted her head, “we got a new friend!”

She smiled in happiness at that touch. She got two more friends now, thanks to her lovely little brother.

Weekend ended quickly, to their dislike, and weekday came too soon.

It’s another day for school.

Jiyeon woke up unwillingly, with her tired body, and left the house, while dragging her feet.

But when she stepped outside her house, she saw Sehun and Baekhyun standing by her gates. “Bacon oppa?! Sehunie?!”

Sehun laughed at his hyung’s greeting again, “It sounded so funny to hear bacon oppa!” And that caused Jiyeon to blush shyly, “I’m sorry…”

Baekhyun elbowed Sehun but smiled at Jiyeon, “it’s alright. Don’t mind this stupid kid.”

Sehun frowned at once and looked at them, “don’t you two dare to gang up on me! Noona, you have to be on my side! I told Baekhyun hyung to wait for you so you two can go to school together!”

Jiyeon blush a little and was silently thanking her little brother. What a nice way to be with her small crush. *THANKS SO MUCH, SEHUNIE, LOVE YOU~*

“Let’s go now, or we’ll be late!” Baekhyun cut in and walked away, and that made the two younger ones follow him willingly.

Sehun went to his school first since his school was nearer to their house.

And that mean Jiyeon was walking alone with Baekhyun, her crush.

“Well, this is awkward.” Baekhyun rubbed his own head and giggled lightly.

Jiyeon smiled a little and nodded her head, agreeing with him, “Yeah… Hmmm… Okay, how about this? We ask each other what we’re curious about them.”

Baekhyun nodded his head in approval, “call! Hmmm… I shall go first, okay? Where was your previous school? Why did you transfer here?”

“Hmmm… It’s simple! My parents have to shift here because their company asked them to shift over, so we moved over last month. I have no choice but to transfer here~”

“I see…”

“Now it’s my turn! Hmmm… Bacon oppa, how long have you known Sehun? You two looked so close.”

“About 5-6 years? When I walked back home from school one day, I saw Sehun all alone at the playground, getting bullied by someone older than him. I helped him and tadah! We became friends.”

Jiyeon giggled at his exaggerations and punched his arm lightly, “you’re funny, Bacon oppa~”

Baekhyun laughed it off and continued, “Now it’s my turn! Hmmm… Are you single now? How many ex-boyfriends did you have before?”

Jiyeon blinked at his question. Did he just ask her that? Was he interested in her? No way right…

She composed herself quickly and replied, “I’m single now and I have no boyfriends before, how about you?”

“I have no girlfriends now too, but I had one ex-girlfriend before.”

“Eo? Then why did you two break up?” Jiyeon tilted her head sideways and asked back.

“She became too clingy. I don’t like it. Way too clingy than me, I can’t accept that.”

Jiyeon laughed loudly at his reply, “you’re clingy too?!”

“I am! I admit, I get jealous easily too! And I can’t accept girls who get more clingy than me, no-no!” Baekhyun replied proudly.

“I see~ You’re really funny, Bacon oppa~” *Note to self, Park Jiyeon. You must not be clingy too!*

And soon they reached their school in no time.

Jiyeon was shocked at how popular Baekhyun was. “Bacon oppa, are you that popular in school? Everyone’s staring!”
