Sequel to Chapter 147.

Jiyeon was preparing herself in the room of the bride. She had her dress on, and she was wearing that pair of pure white gloves which made her looked so elegant.

“Jiyeon-ah~”

The said girl looked up, only to find the two mothers rushing into the room. They were awed by her beauty, all over again.

“Jiyeon-ah… You looked so beautiful!”

“Omma~”

“It’s true!” Mrs. Kim cooed as well, as she handed the small wedding bouquet of flower to her, “You’re the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen, my daughter-in-law.”

“Ommonim~”

“It’s true~” The fathers walked in too, as they crowded around the bride. “I’m so proud of my son. He got such a beautiful wife.”

“Yeobo… Are you saying I’m not beautiful?”

“Yeobo~” Mr. Kim laughed it off and pulled her in for a tight hug, surprising her then, “You’re the prettiest woman ever.”

“That’s more like it!”

Jiyeon felt her nervousness being washed away just like that. Yes, it was thanks to the parents, she felt less nervous.

The mothers and Mr. Kim excused themselves, leaving Jiyeon alone with her father since it was almost time.

“Appa.”

“Yes, my daughter?”

“Thank you.”

“What for?!”

“For bringing me up to such a fine girl. I’m sorry too. You must have been disappointed in me right? I’ve got pregnant at 19.”

“Jiyeon-ah. I’m not disappointed in you.”

“Appa…”

“You’re my favorite girl, no matter what you become. I’ll love you forever, maybe a little less than your mother, but you girls are the most important people in my life.”

Jiyeon smiled in tears as she gave her father a tight hug, “Thank you, appa.”

“Let’s go now, my daughter. Stop crying.”

Jiyeon smiled at his attempt to be fierce, which failed miserably. “Let’s go, appa.”

They stayed outside the door for the time to finally arrive, and it did. The music played, and the MC spoke clearly, and loudly, “Let’s welcome the bride of the day! Our beautiful woman of the entire universe! PARK JIYEON!”

Jiyeon chuckled at Sungyeol’s words before lowering her head shyly. Yes, Myungsoo asked his friends to help him with his wedding, and they did a great job.

They planned the wedding out together, and Sungyeol was the MC with Dongwoo, those two great speakers of their school.

Jiyeon never once laid a finger on the wedding, since Myungsoo doesn’t allow it, but he made it the way she wanted.

It was her dream wedding, and she was so proud to be his wife.

Jiyeon’s father patted her head as he leaned closer to her, “Keep your head up, my daughter. Be confident. You’re pretty.”

Jiyeon giggled at his words before lifting her head up. Every guest was sending her congratulation shoutouts, and even throwing some confetti and flowers to her.

Jiyeon bowed at each and every one of them before finally reaching the end of the aisle. “Park Jiyeon. I swear you’re so beautiful today.”

“Only today?”

“No, of course not. It’s every day! But you’re the most beautiful today.”

“Oppa, you’re handsome too.”

Myungsoo smirked and pulled her into his arms as they turned to the front, facing the father.

The music stopped, and he finally spoke. “Today, we’re brought together to witness the happiest moment for the groom and the bride.”

He continued his speech as the couple listened attentively, and so were the guests, and they finally exchanged their vows.

“…Yes, I do.”

“And so, Park Jiyeon, do you agree to be Kim Myungsoo’s wife, and to be with him whether he’s in pain or sadness, happiness or illness, and to share every moment with him?”

“Yes, I do.”

“With that, please exchange the ring.”

The couple faced each other, and placed the rings on each other’s finger with a wide grin on their faces.

“From now on, you are husband and wife, and you are bound to be together forever. Groom, you may now kiss the bride.”

“I’ve waited this moment for so long!” Myungsoo declared and smashed his lips on hers, and the whole church burst into loud cheers at once.

The reception was over too, and the couple was finally on their way to honeymoon, gift from his parents.

And her parents got them a new apartment, since they wanted the couple to have a new start. It was bigger than both of theirs, since they will be having a baby in 6 more months.

Thank goodness, it was during their vacation break.

And yes, Jiyeon was already in her 3rd month of pregnancy, and she was still trying to be a perfect mother. Myungsoo too, was by her side, supporting the whole time.

Chanyeol gave them his blessings as he was invited to the wedding.

But not Suzy. She wasn’t invited.

But she was forgiven.

She apologized, and even kneeled down for forgiveness. Jiyeon did forgive her in the end, but they agreed to remain as distant friend.

Suzy did change for the better.

She doesn’t feel jealousy towards Jiyeon any longer, and all she felt was blessings for her friend. She did change, for real.

It was all perfect.

Jiyeon had the best family she ever had, and everyone was so caring and kind to her. Myungsoo too, he never once felt so happy in life before. He never wanted a family so much before.

Now, all he wanted was to take good care of his family.

Myungsoo checked in their luggage before bringing Jiyeon into the departure hall since they were late for the flight.

They hurried into the plane and finally, it took off.

“Baby~”

“Hmm?”

“I’m talking to our baby!”

Jiyeon scoffed and pushed his head away from her shoulder, “Go away. Our baby doesn’t want to talk to you.”

Myungsoo let out a happy laugh as he pulled her in for a tight hug again, “I was just joking! I’m sorry. I was calling for you, for real.”

Jiyeon ignored him, but he started leaving trails of kisses down her neck.

That made her laughed.

“Okay, okay! What do you want?”

Myungsoo laughed with her and snuggled up into her neck then, “I just wanted to tell you how happy I am.”

“Me too, oppa. I’m so happy.”

“We finally got married!”

“Yeah! And we’re going on a honeymoon to London! And we’re having a baby!”

“Psh. You were screaming your lungs out when you first noticed you were pregnant. And now? You’re being so happy.”

“Oppa!”

“What?”

Jiyeon scrunched her nose up and glared at him angrily, “You’re so mean!”

“What?! I’m not mean.”

“Oh yes you are! Meanie!”

Myungsoo narrowed his eyes and smirked in victory, “But you love this meanie.”

“Nope~ I love my baby more!”

“That would be our baby, love.”

“Nope! Mine! Only mine!”

“The baby is ours, babe. Our baby is formed using my and-”

“OKAY! OKAY!” Jiyeon shrieked in horror as she cupped his mouth at once, “I don’t need to know the details! I studied Biology before too! Don’t have to tell me!”

“So is he our baby now?”

“Yes! Our baby!”

“Just as I thought.”

“Psh.” Jiyeon groaned in annoyance, but started a new topic again, “Oppa.”

“Yeah?”

“Do you want our baby to be a boy or a girl?”

“A boy would be nice.”

“Why?”

“So I can teach him soccer!”

“But I want our baby to be a girl.”

“Why?”

“I can tie her hair, and we can go shopping, and I can dress her up. We can do so many things together!”

“And leave me out? No way! I want a boy!”

“And leave me out too?! NO WAY!”

Myungsoo laughed in amusement as he hugged her tightly. He placed a hand on her tummy and rubbed it in joy, “Baby~ Please be a boy~ Appa will be so happy~”

“Baby~ you’re a girl right?! You’re going to be mommy’s girl!”

They glared at each other, before Myungsoo snapped it off in defeat. “Fine, fine.” He smiled and pecked her head happily, “Either boy or girl, we will love our baby equally.”
