A girl was walking down the street, back to her apartment, lifelessly.

She just witnessed a scene she wished she rather not saw at all. “Daehyun oppa… How could you do that to me…?”

A drop of tear flowed down her left cheek, as she continued to walk.

“Those words were lies… You said you love me… You said you will protect me forever…”

And another drop of tear dripped.

“Lies…”

And she turned into a sobbing mess.

She reached home, and was being welcomed by her hyper mother. “Jiyeon-ah! I’ve baked cookies today! Do you want it?!”

She didn’t reply.

Her mother found it weird since she would be as excited as her before, especially when she heard cookies.

“Jiyeon? Are you okay?” Her mother stepped out of the kitchen, only to realize she was crying. She rushed to her only daughter and hugged her tightly.

“Everything will be okay. Shh…”

She didn’t ask what’s wrong.

She didn’t probe questions.

She knew.

What Jiyeon needed was her company, and her comfort.

“Omma…”

“It’s okay. Shh…”

Jiyeon cried in her embrace the whole noon, even till her father returned. He was surprised to see the mother-and-daughter – his two favorite women in the world – sitting on the couch and one of them was crying.

“What happened?” He whispered as he joined them on the couch, trying to ask his wife, but Jiyeon heard it.

“Appa…”

“Hmm?”

Jiyeon shifted over into his arms and hugged him tightly, “Can I ask you a question?”

“What is it?”

“Did you cheat on omma before?”

That surprised the two adults. “What’s wrong, baby girl? Did Daehyun cheat on you? That bastard!”

“He did…”

“Don’t worry.” Mrs. Park smiled and patted her back at the same time, trying to comfort her further, “Let’s forget about him now. He is such a bastard.”

“Yeobo!”

“What?”

“You can’t scold that in front of our daughter! What if she learnt it?!”

“You said it too just now, yeobo!”

“Did I?!”

That finally made Jiyeon smiled. She snuggled up into her father’s embrace and sighed in bliss, “Thank you, appa~ Thank you, omma~ You guys are the best!”

“Let’s forget about him now. He will be your past and we shall move on.”

Jiyeon nodded her head in agreement, “Hmm~”

“And for your information, baby girl, I’m cheating on your mother now.”

“WHAT?! YEOBO! YAH! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!”

Mr. Park laughed madly as he hugged Jiyeon even tighter, “I’m cheating on you, yeobo! I love my baby girl now, not you!”

Mrs. Park turned bright red, in anger, as she pulled Jiyeon over to her arms, “SHE’S MINE!”

“No! Baby girl is mine!”

“No! Baby is mine!”

Jiyeon laughed and pulled them both in for a tight hug, “I’m both of yours! Let’s stop fighting now~”

“Okay, okay. Let’s stop.” Mrs. Park cooed as she walked towards the kitchen, after sending her daughter a peck on her cheek, “Dinner time!”

Mr. Park smirked and pecked his daughter too, “Remember you’re mine only!” And he rushed off to the kitchen to flirt with his wife.

Jiyeon smiled to herself and sighed in bliss.

At lease she has her mother and father. She has her parents, which was enough.

From that moment onwards, she promised herself not to love anymore. She doesn’t want to get hurt again, and she concluded that love was something hard for her.

She doesn’t believe in love anymore, and all she wanted to focus on was everything other than love.

It had been a month since Jiyeon saw the heartbreaking scene of her senior boyfriend making out with his classmate in the front gate, openly.

She broke up with him the next day, and he too, gladly let her go since he was just playing around.

Jiyeon continued her life as usual.

She would pretend nothing went on between Daehyun and her if they walked past each other, and she would focus on her lessons and club activity.

She just wanted to lead a normal and happy life.

Of course, everyone in school knew about her relationship, and they simply hated Daehyun for breaking her heart.

Girls and boys alike, everyone was on Jiyeon’s side, unless they were Daehyun’s fans. Well, he’s a good-looking kingka too.

Jiyeon was walking to school that morning, as usual, at the same time, but that morning was different. She found a group of guys standing at the bus stop, in the same school uniform as hers.

“One, Two, Three… Eleven… Twelve. Wow.” Yes, she counted the number of boys in the group, and there were twelve of them.

That’s quite a lot.

Jiyeon noticed they looked lost, and as such, she approached them shyly. She had to help since they will be her schoolmates, and she just couldn’t leave them alone.

She just loved helping people in need.

“Erm… Excuse me?”

The guy turned around as he could feel a tug on his blazer. And right when he met eyes with hers, he could feel his own heart jumping.

He stumbled back in surprised and stared at the beauty in front of him.

Yes, he was mesmerized.

He was awed.

He was in love.

Love at first sight.

How amazing.

He finally felt something amazing in 18 years of his life. “H-Hi…”

“Erm… Are you looking for GangMan High School?”

“Y-Yeah…”

“Follow me…” Jiyeon shyly took his hand, and tugged him along. The stranger looked at their hands, and back to the back of her head as he followed her blindly. *Wow…* He couldn’t explain the feeling. He was far from being in cloud nine.

Jiyeon turned her head and sent him a small smile before stopping, “Isn’t your friend coming?”

He turned around and spotted his friends still searching for their school. “Yah! Come over! She will bring us over to our school!”

Eleven heads turned to his direction and soon, their mouths were widely opened.

She was indeed a beauty.

“Erm… I think I should introduce myself. I’m Park Jiyeon, and I’m from class 2-3. Nice to meet you all!”

The boys bowed, as a human reflex, and slowly approached the both of them. “Let’s go! We’re late!”

She was still holding onto the stranger’s hand, which caused the other boys to groan in displeasure. How could he get the first move?!

“We should introduce ourselves too! I’m Byun Baekhyun!”

Jiyeon turned to the guy she was holding hand with and smiled brightly. That was a smile of goddess – they thought.

“Hello, Baekhyun!”

And slowly, the guys introduced themselves.

Sehun walked over to her other side, and grabbed her free hand, “You’re in year two, which means you’re 18, right?”

“Hmm!”

“NOONA!”

“You’re 17?!”

“Yup!”

Jiyeon giggled and brought her hand up to ruffle his hair playfully, “Then you shall be my dongsaeng then! You’re so cute!”

“Oh great. Another smooth move.” Kris groaned and nudged Suho. The latter sighed and ruffled his hair in annoyance too, “At this rate, I don’t get to talk to her at all!”

Kai sneaked over and squeezed in between Sehun and Jiyeon, “NOOOOOOONA~”

“Kai! You’re 17 too?”

“YUP!”

“ME TOO, NOONA!” Tao squeezed in between Kai and Jiyeon, separating their short time together.

“Tao too? Who else is 17?!”

“Only those three.” Chanyeol smiled, “The rest of us are the same age as you, except for Kris, Luhan and Minseok!”

“Ahhh~ So I should call them oppa?!”

“YES!” Minseok beamed widely as he gave a smirk to the other guys, “Just call us oppa!”

“Minseok oppa!”

“Good girl.” Minseok ruffled her hair playfully, which caused the other guys to groan right at once. They group finally reached their school, and Jiyeon brought them over to the office to settle the administration matters.

How funny.

Jiyeon was still holding hands with Baekhyun. It was as if there was a strong force pulling them together, and the other boys gave no thought of separating them apart.

“Class! Listen up! We have new students with us today!”

Jiyeon smiled widely as she knew about the new students. “Come on in!” 5 guys entered the class, which caused uproar at once.

Girls were already screaming and squealing at their handsome and good-looking features, and appearances.

While boys wanted to be their friends.

“Introduce yourself, students!”

“Hello everyone! I’m Do Kyungsoo! Please take care of me!”

“Hello! I’m Park Chanyeol!”
