Pairing: Kaiyeon, Myungsoo

Plot: Kai is Jiyeon bestfriend. Kai has a crush on Jiyeon but Jiyeon has a boyfriend name Myungsoo. Myungsoo is a player. He dates Jiyeon because of a bet he make with his friend. When, Jiyeon and Kai find out about this. Jiyeon feel dumb for loving Myungsoo and Kai do not like seeing Jiyeon sad. So, he decided to make Jiyeon smile again. 

Extras:Make Kai the cute and sweet type. Is it possible if you make the ending romantic? I mean make Kai and Jiyeon together. :)

“Myungsoo oppa is so sweet! He brought me to dinner yesterday! He even treated me! We went to the mall and walked around and he even bought me a hair pin! He said I looked so cute in this bear pin!”

Kai fought back the urge to roll his eyes at her best friend’s non-stop blabbering.

“And he even-”

Kai stopped her by placing a finger on her lips, “Stop.”

“Wmm?” Jiyeon tried to speak but his finger was blocking . Kai sighed sadly and brought his hand away then.

“Because you’ve been talking about him for the past two hours already. And I’ve heard enough.”

Jiyeon pouted her lower lips out and frowned sadly, “Do you think I’m a bother now?”

Kai ruffled her hair playfully and pushed the bowl of dessert to her. That’s right, they were in a dessert house that night.

“Of course not. You’re my best friend, silly. Eat it.”

Jiyeon beamed widely and dug into her sweet treat from Kai, “You’re the best Kai! If Myungsoo didn’t appear, I surely will fall in love with you!”

*But he did appear.*

Kai thought sadly and nibbled onto his own ice-cream stick, “Silly. Finish it up. Let’s go and get your favorite fish-cake next!”

Jiyeon nodded her head happily but once she looked at her watch, she let out a huge gasp instead, “KAI!”

Of course, her reaction made him surprised too, “What? What happened?”

“I have to go now! I’m having a date with Myungsoo!”

“Again?”

Jiyeon giggled sheepishly and bit onto her tongue shyly, “Yeah~”

“You’re so crazily in love now, babo.”

“That’s because I love him!” Jiyeon was about to rush out of the ice-cream store but stopped all her movements when she spotted a familiar figure right outside the store.

Her facial expression began to turn bad, which caused Kai to tilt his head to figure out what that bad thing was.

Indeed, it was bad.

Outside the store, Myungsoo had his arm around another girl’s waist, and they were happily walking down the streets.

Kai returned his attention to her only to find Jiyeon with her lips trembling, “Jiji…”

Jiyeon lowered her head and sobbed sadly, “That’s Myungsoo, right?”

Kai remained silent since he had no idea what he should reply.

“He cheated on me with a prettier girl…”

Kai shifted over to her side and pulled her into his arms, “Silly. You’re the prettiest girl on earth.” He allowed his best friend slash crush slash love, to cry in his arms until she calmed herself down.

“Feeling better?”

Jiyeon nodded her head and looked at her half eaten ice-cream, which was the only think that could cheer her up, “It melted already…”

“Want another cup?”

Jiyeon shook her head and stood up, “I want to go home, Jongin.”

“I’ll get you home.”

“But, should I tell him I won’t turn up for the date?” Jiyeon stopped her tracks, all of the sudden, and voiced out her worries.

And that left Kai dumbfounded. “Of course not. Let him wait!” He confiscated her phone and dragged her out of the store.

But luck wasn’t on their side.

Turning round the corner at the end of the corridor, they spotted Myungsoo sitting in a open-air restaurant, with his friends.

Jiyeon walked over to him, attempting to break off with him, but her heart simply broke even further at the words he said to his friends.

About her.

“Yah, Myungsoo-ah. How’s the girl coming along?”

“Which girl?” That moment, Myungsoo seemed like a jerk to her.

“Jiyeon! Who else? How many girls do you have currently huh?”

Myungsoo smirked and took a sip of his beer, “4? I guess?”

“You guess?” His friend scoffed but wriggled his eyebrow the next moment, “So how’s that Jiyeon chick? Another 3 more days to a month right? Don’t forget the bet~ Three more days!”

“Don’t worry.” Myungsoo held his head up smugly, “She loves me a lot. We even have a date today and I bet she will wait for hours.”

Just when Jiyeon was about to confront him, she saw Kai walked passed through her and up to Myungsoo, punching him right on his cheek, which caused the latter to land on the ground of the restaurant, “Not anymore, bastard.”

“What the ?!” Myungsoo wiped his blood off his lips and stood up quickly, “Who are you?!”

“Your chick’s best friend. The one who you’re toying with using the bet with your friend.” Kai was about to punch him again but Jiyeon’s action stopped him instead.

She picked the cup of beer on his table and splashed it hardly into his face, “Let’s end it now so you won’t get your reward for the bet.”

Jiyeon tugged onto Kai’s wrist and pulled him out of the restaurant, leaving an embarrassed Myungsoo behind.

His friend laughed at his condition and offered a tissue for help but Myungsoo simply slapped his hand away. “Laugh!”

His friend stopped laughing and zipped his mouth up, obeying his words, even though he wanted so much to laugh it right into his face. He told Myungsoo countless times not to play with girls but he simply continued to make bets with him. Finally, he burnt his own hands.

Myungsoo stared at her disappearing figure and held a hand against his chest.

“Why? Are you hurt?”

“It feels pain here.”

“You scratched yourself?”

Myungsoo shook his head and pointed to his heart, “Here… It feels pain.”

His friend scoffed and leaned back against his chair, “You will feel heartbreak too?”

“That’s heartbreak?”

His friend scoffed even harder at his words, “Yes, Mr. Playboy. You’ve just felt your first heartbreak after watching your own love walked away from you.”

Myungsoo sat on his chair in disbelieved. *Heart break…*

Kai brought Jiyeon back to her apartment and made sure she felt comfortable before heading back home. He never brought the topic up again, since he knew she needed space.

“Jongin.”

Kai turned around, since he was at the door, and smiled at her, “Aren’t you asleep?”

Jiyeon shook her head and looked at him sadly, “Jongin.”

“Hmm?” Kai walked over to her and lowered his height to hers. “Yeah?”

“Can you stay with me?”

Kai sighed and joined her under the cover comfortably. They had a little space in between them but they were facing each other. “Feel safer now?”

Jiyeon smiled and nodded her head lightly, “Thank you, Jongin.”

“Don’t thank me. You have to be with me when I’m sad too.” Kai used his palm to close her eyes gently, “Go to sleep.”

Jiyeon snuggled up into her own palms, which was on the pillow, and sighed sadly, “I will, Jongin. I will be with you just like now.”

Kai brought his hand up to her waist and patted it lightly, and began to hum a song out to her.

With him by her side, Jiyeon fell asleep in no time, feeling so secured.

Kai brought his hand up to her face and brushed them through her features lightly, “You’re just like a baby. My baby.”

He too, closed his eyes and fell asleep, after returning his hand to her waist.

The next morning arrived quickly, and Kai was the first to wake up, since the sunlight was shining right on his face.

He stirred awake and rushed to the window to close her curtain to make the room darker, when she was whining in her sleep. And indeed, she stopped whining.

Kai chuckled silently to himself and walked back to her side.

Brushing his fingers through her hair gently, he thought of just the right thing to make her happy again.

Right at once, he packed her stuffs which he thought she might need. After discussing it with her parents, they agreed to let him do whatever he wanted to.

Kai waited patiently for her to wake up, and she finally did, when the clock 12, as though she was Cinderella.

Jiyeon stretched her limbs which caused her shirt to roll up slightly. Kai saw it and simply sigh in amazement before pulling it down for her. Although he felt red after staring at her skin, he knew this wasn’t the time to be this way.

“Wake up already?”

Jiyeon sat up on the bed and nodded her head tiredly, “My eyes hurt…”

“Who told you to cry the whole night yesterday?”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and rubbed her pained eyes. “I just felt sad…”

“Feeling better now?” Kai brought her hands away and pulled her over to the washroom before washing her eyes for her.

Jiyeon smiled slightly and nodded her head, “I guess…”

“Wash up, silly. We’ll go somewhere today.”

Jiyeon blinked at him innocently instead, “Where to? We have school tomorrow!”

“Took off already. Just get ready now! I’ll be outside!” Kai winked playfully and closed the door for her.

Jiyeon did as told, although she was curious to death. *Appa and omma let me take off from school?! YAY~* Still, She was solely excited for that reason.

She returned to her bedroom only to find Kai sitting on her bed with her duffle bag by his side, “What’s that?”

“Your clothes and stuffs. I’ve packed them already, let’s go.” He picked the bag up and held his hand up for her.

“Where are we going?” Jiyeon took his hand, automatically, even though she was still confused.

“You will know soon.” Kai smiled and brought her out of the house, after bidding farewell to her parents.
