Plot: Myungyeon was a lovely couple at high school. But one day Myungsoo cheat with Jiyeon's bestfriend, Suzy (different high school with myungyeon). When they entered college, the 3 of them come in the same college. Myungyeon still love each other. But Jiyeon still feeling deeply hurt.

Jiyeon and Myungsoo were titled as the Myungyeon couple in their high school.

Their lovey dovey acts around the school gained attention and popularity from the school and students enjoyed cheering and rooting for them.

Jiyeon was the elegant and sweet student every school would have, and Myungsoo was the handsome and friendly student every school would also have. It just so happened that they met in high school, in the same class, and they eventually ended up together.

After loving each other for 2 years in high school, Jiyeon finally decided to introduce her best girlfriend to her boyfriend.

They were the most important people in her life so she wanted them to know each other. So that in the future, they could all hang out together.

It was a sunny noon when Jiyeon introduced Suzy to Myungsoo. They were shy to each other at the beginning, but eventually warmed up with the help of Jiyeon. She would engage them into conversations and they would reply and talk among themselves.

The trio had outings often. Jiyeon was the one to gather them together and had an outing once a month or so, which allowed the trio to be close to each other.

It had been a year the trio got together, and Jiyeon was indeed at the best peak of her life. She was happy. She has a boyfriend and she has a best friend who supported her with her boyfriend.

However, Jiyeon wouldn’t ever imagine that it was the worst idea to introduce her best friend to her boyfriend.

Myungsoo’s attitude to her had been deteriorating nowadays. He would snap at Jiyeon from time to time but apologized afterwards, and Jiyeon would accept his apology since she thought it might be because of his school work.

He would also ignore her calls and texts sometimes and gave her the excuse that he’s busy studying. Of course, the pure girl didn’t even suspect him.

That one Sunday, Myungsoo had rejected her calls and texts since the morning. She only received a reply during 4PM, after she had sent countless of messages to him.

She messaged him messages like ‘how are you?’, ‘do you want to go out on a date?’, and tons of questions like this.

But he only replied her with only one word.

“Busy”

That’s all. No emoticons. No punctuations. Just that 4 letter word.

Jiyeon could feel her heart break at his attitude towards her but she pushed those bad thoughts away since she loved him too much to suspect him.

“Maybe I can help Myungsoo with his homework!” With that simple thought in mind, she left her house in a rush and walked down the street to his apartment, which was only two blocks away.

Right when she reached his building, she could faintly see two figures entering the block together, with the girl in the guy’s arms. Jiyeon swore she saw Myungsoo but that couldn’t be! Myungsoo wouldn’t be with other girls! He’s her boyfriend!

Thinking that she might be seeing the wrong guy, she moved forward into the building with a bright smile on her face again.

Taking the lift up to the 5th level, she walked a few steps ahead and reached his apartment in no time.

After keying his password in: his birth date, she entered the apartment with a bright smile but it was replaced with a frown when she saw a familiar female shoe at the side.

“Isn’t that…?”

She whispered and walked slowly into the house. She moved on from the kitchen since it’s empty and stepped into the living room.

There sitting on the couch, was her boyfriend.

And her best friend.

They were cuddling under a soft blanket they shared before, and they were watching the drama aired on television that noon. Suzy had her head on Myungsoo’s shoulder and his arm was over her shoulders.

She was sure now. The two figures she saw just now were the two of them.

“Myungsoo…? Suzy…?” Jiyeon whispered in despair as she could feel her world tumbling down.

The duo on the couch straightened up immediately with their eyes widened. “Jiyeon-ah…”

“This was that you’re busy at?” Jiyeon scoffed in disbelief while looking at Myungsoo. She turned her attention to Suzy as her lips trembled, “How long?”

The duo wouldn’t dare reply her.

“HOW LONG?!”

Suzy blinked in shock and mumbled, “6 months…”

Jiyeon scoffed once more as her tears rolled down her cheeks mercilessly, “6 months. 6 freaking months and I don’t even know until now.”

The duo looked down in guilt.

“You think you guys can go on like this forever without me knowing?” Jiyeon frowned as her tears continued flowing down. “It’s impossible.”

“Cheating on someone isn’t a right thing so that victim will know eventually. It was all planned out that way.” She explained while nodding her head. Her palms were already fisted up long ago to keep her cool.

“It was just a matter of time. Sad to say, it took me 6 months to realize things went wrong.” She gulped before taking in a deep breath.

“Why…? Why did you do this to me? Was it wrong for me to introduce you two to each other? Was it wrong for me to have my boyfriend know my best friend?”

 “It was my fault.” She agreed with herself while the duo kept silent, having nothing more to say.

“It was my fault. No, wait…” Jiyeon shook her head before letting out a weak smile, “I should introduce you to each other. So that I know what kind of boyfriend and best friend I had.”

“I hope not to come across with you two again.” She stated her stand loud and clear. “I don’t ever wish to see you two in front of me again.” Jiyeon spat with hatred before turning around and left the apartment she swore she won’t ever step in again. Myungsoo widened his eyes and became frightened at her words.

“WAIT! JIYEON-AH!” He dashed out of his apartment to catch her but the lift already closed with her in it.

“COME BACK!!!!! JIYEON-AH!!!!!!” Myungsoo yelled in fear when he saw her gone right in front of his eyes.

That was when he knew this was his entire fault. That was when he realized he was in love with her all along. He was just being playful and being seduced by Suzy.

Suzy.

He raged when he reminded himself of her name.

Myungsoo stormed back into his apartment and glared and Suzy, “YOU DID ALL THIS! YOU CAME IN BETWEEN US! YOU SEDUCED ME!”

Suzy smirked in victory. Her expression changed at once to a new expression he never saw before. “I did all this, I seduced you and I came in between you two. That was correct.” Her eyes turned vicious as she looked at him, “But you were the one at fault. If you weren’t being seduced by me and if you really love that , you won’t ever cheat on her.”

“HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HER?! SHE’S YOUR BEST FRIEND!”

“WAS! SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND!” Suzy yelled in raged. “Ever since young, she always was above me, no matter its grade or guys. Everyone love her and not me! So I swear to myself I will get her down. I will show her what a dark world means.”

Myungsoo scoffed in disbelief, “You’re one crazy . Get out.”

Suzy smirked as though she got the whole world in her hands and took her bag, “I will move myself even if you didn’t tell me to. Enjoy your day, baby~”

“GET OUT!” Myungsoo yelled and threw a vase at her in which she dodged immediately. She left the apartment once and for all.

Myungsoo could feel his world ending. His only love just found him cheating on her.

Slowly, he recalled how happy the past two years they were together. Their love was so pure and they promised to walk down the aisle in the future together.

But that all crashed by his one decision.

Even if so many things happened to her, the brave Jiyeon continued her school as usual. But she wasn’t the sweet girl as before and she became dark. Her aura that she gave to students became different.

The school soon found out about their separation and the reason behind it. Words spread fast.

Students would pin-point at him when Myungsoo entered the school, and all he could do was to hang his head low. Too embarrassed and too depress to look at the rest of the population.

He walked into the class and saw Jiyeon at her seat. He brightened up immediately and went to the empty seat next to her, attempting to sit down on it.

But once he sat down, Jiyeon cleared her stuff and walked over to the other end of the classroom.

Myungsoo’s eyes followed her and he could feel his heart stopped, literally. He felt numb all over his body. He couldn’t see things properly and he couldn’t hear things at all. His eyes were set on Jiyeon the whole lesson but she wouldn’t even return him one glance.

When lessons were over, and after school had ended, Myungsoo rushed to her side and tried to talk to her but all she did was speed up and walk away from him.

The guilty guy would then follow her all the way home. After he had seen her entering her own apartment, he would loiter around the area for a while before returning back to his own apartment.

Jiyeon watched closely by the window, behind the curtains. She saw everything. She saw his guilty and crestfallen expression but what could she do? He did wrong first. He was the one who cheated, not her. She won’t open up her arms as usual and welcome him back to her world.

No. She was hurt and she had no intention to give into him easily now, even though she still loves him dearly.

That happened for the rest of their high school year. Topics about them began to die down in school and no one had ever spoken about Myungyeon couple again.

Myungsoo would follow her all the way home and saw her entering her apartment with his own eyes before leaving.

Jiyeon would stand by the window and look at his depressing figure leaving the area until he was out of sight.

“Myungsoo, where’s your form?”

Myungsoo tore his eyes off Jiyeon for a moment and looked at their teacher, “I have questions to ask.”
