Jiyeon's best friend, Hyomin has set Jiyeon up on many blind dates. And this time Hyomin thinks this will be the last time. Jiyeon agrees to the blind date because she knows Hyomin just wants her to be happy, and it's the last blind date she'll ever have to go on. But Jiyeon has to spend the whole day with the mysterious guy. Jiyeon goes on this blind date and slowly falls for Luhan throughout the day.

“Jiji~”

“Unnie~ No blind dates, please.”

Hyomin pouted sadly and grabbed one of her arm, shaking it lightly, “Jiji~ Last one? Hmm?”

“You know the results, unnie. I don’t like any of them. You introduced ahjussi to me! I’m only 21, unnie. I’m still young.”

“But you don’t dress up! You don’t go out! You don’t socialize with people! How are you going to get a boyfriend like that?”

“I don’t need a boyfriend now.”

“I just want you to be happy, Jiji~”

Jiyeon sighed with a deep thought, “Last, unnie? Really?”

“YES!”

“No more next time!”

“No more! I have no guys to introduce to you too!”

“I really have no idea where you know these guys, unnie.”

“Some are from my school, some are from my music classes, some are from the net!”

“The net too?!”

“Yup! But I know them well, don’t worry. I’ve checked them up before introducing them to you!”

“You better, unnie. I don’t want to meet with an old greezer!”

“I know, I know. This time I’m sure you will like it! He’s 23! And he’s a Chinese!”

Jiyeon widened her eyes in surprise, looking at Hyomin in confusion, “A Chinese?”

“Yup!”

“Then where will this relationship bring us, unnie?”

“He can speak Korean, so don’t worry. And he’s staying in Korea, permanently.”

“Really?”

“Yes! And he’s absolutely handsome. I bet you’ll like him!”

“Just for you, unnie. Last date, promise.”

“Promise promise!” Hyomin beamed widely before dragging her out of the café when they ended their part time job.

“Unnie! Where are we going?”

“Let’s go to the mall now!”

“The mall? What for?”

“To dress you up! Your date will be tomorrow!”

“Tomorrow?! That’s fast!”

“I’ve booked him a week ago! He’s popular, alright!”

“How did you know him, unnie?”

“Oh! He’s someone I saw in the club!”

“CLUB?!”

“Yup! But he’s not a playboy, rest assure. I’ve checked it up. He went there because he was attending a birthday party held by his friend, who is also my friend.”

Jiyeon simply allowed herself to be dragged, “You always win, unnie.”

“Because you love me, right?”

“Yes yes. Of course.”

They shared a sweet smile before entering the mall, hopping around shops to get the only suitable dress for her.

And they finally found it hours later, adding a perfect pair of black heels to it.

Hyomin was so satisfied with the outcome. “Perfect. PERFECT!” She dumped those items onto the cashier’s table and grinned widely to the cashier, “Wrap these up, please!”

“Of course, miss!”

“Unnie! I can pay them on my own!”

“No! This is your last blind date, and I’m the one who set it up. I can pay them. And you have to save money for your apartment too.”

“Unnie…”

“No more word from you, Jiji. Let’s go have dinner now!”

Jiyeon smiled and hooked her arms around Hyomin’s, after grabbing her own bag of new items, “BBQ?”

“BBQ it is then!”

“Let’s go!”

They knew each other for years, since they joined the café as worker together. They knew each other through the café, and since they were the only female workers, they simply clicked well together.

Hyomin got to know about Jiyeon’s personality, and she always pushed guys to her. Not that she wanted Jiyeon to have a boyfriend like her, but she just wanted Jiyeon to be happy.

Yes, Hyomin has a boyfriend for years too.

And being so happy in love, she wanted her best friend to be happy too.

But she knew by putting pressure on the girl, Jiyeon won’t be happy at all. So this will be the last time she will be arranging a blind date for her.

All she could do was to pray hard this man was the guy for her.

Hyomin arrived at Jiyeon’s apartment early in the morning, the following day, and woke her up from her deep slumber.

“Unnie~ I’m still sleepy~”

“No! You’re going to meet the guy in an hour! Wake up now!”

“An hour?!”

“Yes! Up up! Go get a shower! I’m gonna make you to a perfect princess!”

Right when Jiyeon came out from her shower, Hyomin snatched her over to small walk-in closet she had, had her changed out to the dress she bought, and pushed her down in front of the dressing table.

“Don’t worry, Jiji. Do you trust unnie?”

“Of course, unnie.”

“I’ll make sure you’ll be the prettiest girl on earth today. Well, you are pretty already so you just need a little touch up.”

Indeed, the make-up was simple, and she looked so perfect.

“Now wear your heels!”

Jiyeon did as told, and waited for Hyomin by the door.

She lived alone, since her parents passed away years ago, and Hyomin had been the only one who entered her apartment since then.

Well, Jiyeon often headed over to her apartment too, since Hyomin lived alone as well.

Yes, they were best of friends, and even their past was similar. Hyomin’s parents passed away years ago too.

How coincident.

Both of their parents passed away during the flight to London for holiday.

And because of that, Jiyeon and Hyomin grew closer to each other day by day. They were the pillar of support for each other since then.

“Go to the café.”

“Sweet Memories?”

“Yeah.”

“You arranged us to meet at our work place? Oppas will think he’s my boyfriend!”

“Don’t worry! I’ve told them beforehand!”

“Psh. Unnie…”

“Gogo! You’re late!”

Jiyeon gave Hyomin a tight hug before walking down the streets, heading to Sweet Memories. “This unnie… She didn’t even tell me how he looks like!”

Jiyeon entered the café, greeted her colleagues who were sending her teasing smiles. “There he is! Go Jiji!”

“Oppa~ Stop teasing me!”

“Right right!” Oppa pinched her nose and pushed her over to the table by the window. “Good luck, Jiji~ He’s a good catch!”

Jiyeon smiled and walked towards the table, seated by a guy with his head facing outside. “Erm… Hello?”

The guy turned his head to her at once, and there was only one word which came across her mind. *DEER!*

He totally looked like a deer, a cute deer.

Jiyeon placed a fist against her lips, stifling back a giggle.

“Are you Park Jiyeon?”

“Yup! Hyomin unnie set us up! It’s you, right?”

“Yes! Oh, take a seat, please!”

Jiyeon sat opposite of him, still giggling happily, while the man simply sent her a confused look which made him even cuter. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay…”

“You just look so cute! Like a deer!”

The man managed to smile, lovingly, “Many said I look like a deer too!”

“That’s because of your eyes! And you speak Korean well!”

“I was here for 5 years and took up Korean language. Oh right! I’m Xi Luhan. Nice to meet you, Jiyeon-ssi.”

“Ah! Just call me Jiyeon! Let’s not be so formal!”

“Then you can call me oppa!”

“Luhan oppa?”

“Yup! You said to drop the formalities!”

“That’s right.”

They shared a good laugh together, while sipping onto the cups of coffee he ordered for the both of them. “I hope you like Latte? Actually… the waiter told me you liked it.”

“Yup! I’m working here with Hyomin unnie actually.”

“Ah~ No wonder he knows you!”

Jiyeon giggled as she sipped onto her latte, “Are you, hmm… jealous?”

“No! Of course not!”
