Myungyeon, T-ara, Infinite

Myungsoo is the best friend of Jiyeon's older brother. Since highschool, she's been crushing on him because he's extra sweet and nice to her. During Jiyeon's high school graduation, she was planning to confess to Myungsoo since she invited him to attend. However, after the ceremony, when she confessed her feelings, Myungsoo rejected her and told her that he only sees her as a sister. In addition to that, he is already committed to someone, which is also unknown to Jiyeon's brother. Heartbroken, Jiyeon accepted the college scholarship in America. During the five years that Jiyeon was away from Korea, Myungsoo realized how important she is in his life and decided to confess his feelings once she returned to Korea.

Extras: Please give them a happy ending but don't let Jiyeon accept Myungsoo easily. Also, please make the characters mature and not cutesy. Thank you! :)

“Oppa~”

“Hmm?”

“Is your friend coming over today again?”

“Psh. Why? Afraid you won’t see your crush today?”

“Oppa~”

Hyojoon laughed in bliss and ruffled her hair playfully, “He will be coming, my dear little sister. Why don’t you just confess to him already?”

“Oppa! I’m still 17!”

“And we’re only 18.”

“But still…”

“I know~ I know~ It’ll be embarrassing, and you aren’t sure if you really love him. That’s nonsense, my dear sister. Let me ask you something.”

“Yeah?”

“Do you feel happy when you see him?”

“Of course.”

“Do you feel sad if you didn’t see him?”

“Yup!”

“Do you feel weird if he touches you or hugs you or be close to you?”

“Yes~”

“Definitely.” Hyojoon approved his best friend with his sister at once. It would be the best if they were to be together, in his opinion.

Well, his best friend was a great guy too, and he would take real good care of Jiyeon. Sometimes, he realized his best friend treated Jiyeon better than how he had treated her.

“I don’t know… I mean…”

*DING DONG*

“He’s here!” Jiyeon jumped up at once and clapped her hands in joy, “Myungsoo oppa is here!” She rushed to the door and opened it.

Indeed, Myungsoo was right outside. “Hi, Jiyeon!”

“Myungsoo oppa! You’re here!”

“Yup~ Your brother needs serious help in his math.”

“I know right!” Jiyeon agreed too, and pushed him into the house quickly, “I’ll get you some drink, oppa! What would you like?”

“Hmm~ You can get me whatever you like, Jiyeon-ah~”

“Okay!”

Jiyeon hopped into the kitchen to get a drink for him at once, as the two guys prepared for a study session in the living room.

“Where’s my drink, sis?!”

“Get it yourself, oppa! You’re so lazy!”

“YAH!”

Jiyeon giggled and sat by the side, admiring them doing their work, “Myungsoo oppa~”

“Hmm?”

“You’re really good in studies!”

“Nah. I studied hard. I’m not really good too.”

“But you’re good enough to teach my stupid brother!”

“That’s true.” Myungsoo giggled as he high-fived Jiyeon, since they had successfully made Hyojoon mad.

“Beware, kids. I’ll definitely make it to the top someday!”

Jiyeon leaned back and stared at Myungsoo again. She touched her chest and took in rounds of deep breath since her heart was beating so fast. *That’s it! I’ll definitely confess to Myungsoo oppa someday!*

That someday, happened to be her graduation day.

That’s right.

Jiyeon harbored the feelings for him for more than almost two years, and finally, she was going to confess.

Even though her brother and Myungsoo had graduated from the same high school a year ago, even though she saw him less often in school, she still had feelings for him.

She could always see him when Hyojoon called him over. Sometimes, it was a request from Jiyeon too, unknown to Myungsoo.

Jiyeon was simply glad to catch an eye of Myungsoo for a day. That was how simply her love was. Finally, she decided to confess her two years worth of feelings to him.

Hyojoon knew about her plan and he invited Myungsoo along with him to her graduation ceremony. They were early, and as such, they went to their seats immediately.

Of course, juniors were murmurings about the two since they were quite popular in school, but the two simply could care less for the attention.

They went for Jiyeon, and that was it.

Jiyeon would be their only attention.

Finally, the ceremony started. Principal, teachers and even seniors came for a talk, and the passing of certificate finally began.

“… Park Jiyeon from class 4-1!”

Jiyeon walked up the stage, but her eyes were on the audience. She scanned around, and finally spotted two big guys waving at her, while taking lots of photos.

She waved back happily before getting the certificate from the principal, and rushed back down to her originated seat.

It ended perfectly well.

Jiyeon rushed out of the hall, trying to search for the two big guys, but they were already waiting for her by the exit.

“JIYEON-AH!”

“OPPA!”

Hyojoon and Myungsoo each took out a bouquet of flower, and a teddy bear, and pushed it to her, “CONGRATULATIONS!”

“Thank you, oppa~” I’m so happy today even though appa and omma couldn’t come.

“Don’t worry. I’ve sent the photos to them and they said you looked so pretty.”

Jiyeon giggled in joy and hugged him tightly, “Thank you, oppa~” And she hugged Myungsoo too, “Thank you for coming, Myungsoo oppa!”

They proceeded down to the reception, took lots of photos with her friends and the two guys, before walking to the quieter area of the school.

“I’ll go get something to drink!” Hyojoon stood up from the grass and winked at Jiyeon before running away from the scene.

Myungsoo sat there as he looked ahead, at the small pond in the middle of the garden, while Jiyeon was simply staring at him.

“Erm… Myungsoo oppa…”

“Yeah?”

“I have something to say.”

Myungsoo turned his body and finally faced her, “About?”

“Erm…”

“It’s okay. Just tell me! You can tell me anything.” Myungsoo beamed as he patted her head, which made her shy again.

“Well… I just wanted to confess about something.”

Myungsoo turned silent as his smile dropped. He had a feeling where this will be heading to.

“Myungsoo oppa.”

“Y-Yeah…?”

“I like you!” There, she said it, “I’ve been in love with you for a long time! Ever since Hyojoon oppa introduced us to each other! It’s almost two years! At first, I thought it was just a small crush, but it turned out to be love in the end. Whenever I close my eyes, I would be thinking about you! I would feel so happy when you’re around me, and my heart would race so quickly!”

Myungsoo stared at her as she began to become jumpy.

“So… Erm… Yeah… I’ve said it!”

Myungsoo let out a small sigh, which caused Jiyeon to frown instead. *Is it a rejection…?*

“I can’t accept you. I’m sorry, Jiyeon-ah.”

That seriously broke her heart.

“Let me be honest with you. I actually have someone I like. Hyojoon didn’t know it too. I kept it to myself for a while now. She’s a sweet girl, and she’s in my class in the college. I’m sorry, Jiyeon-ah. I didn’t thought of that with you. I mean… I always treated you as a sister.”

Jiyeon turned silent which worried him too.

“A-Are you okay with it?”

Jiyeon tore her eyes away from her fingers and forced a wide smile out, “Of course! I’m the strong Jiyeon! This is nothing!” And she let out a forceful laugh, “We’re still friends, right?”

Myungsoo sent her a smile too, but he was feeling so awful inside, and he had no idea why. “Of course.”

Was this a great choice? Was this a choice he wanted?

He thought so. He thought it was how it should be. Jiyeon was always his sister. …Right?

Once Jiyeon returned home, she ran into her room and cried her heart out. Hyojoon stayed by her side the whole night and comforted Jiyeon the best he could.

He didn’t know his friend would have someone he was interested in too.

He thought Myungsoo was interested in his sister all along, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.

After that day, Myungsoo’s trip to Hyojoon and Jiyeon’s house turned lesser and lesser, and Jiyeon blamed herself for it.

If she didn’t confess, this wouldn’t have happened.

“Oppa…” It had been a week, and Jiyeon stayed at home for the whole week. Hyojoon finally returned home from his class, and Jiyeon called out to him for his attention.

“Yes, baby sis?”

“I know it’s weird to ask this… But… How is Myungsoo oppa?”

Hyojoon avoided her eyes and turned silent. How could he tell her the truth?

“Please oppa. Let me know. I have to know before I decide on something important.”

Hyojoon sighed and gave in at once, “Myungsoo had been living a happy life. I’ve seen him with a girl often, and it seems like he was trying to woo her. That girl must be the girl he said. I don’t know. I’ve not much time to talk to him too.”

Jiyeon let out a long sigh as she could feel her eyes turning teary again. “Oppa.”

“Yeah?”

“Can I go to America and continue my studies?”

“Baby sis!” Hyojoon was surprised at her decision, of course. Who wouldn’t be? “You don’t have to do it to this extent! We can just place you into a different university!”

“I can’t. I just feel weird staying here. It feels like I see him wherever I go. Oppa, please? Let me go to America. I can fulfill my dream there too.”

“You’re going to learn fashion there?”

“Yes. I promise I will be a good student. I won’t let you and appa and omma down.”

Hyojoon sighed and pulled her in for a hug, “If you want it, then alright. How long will think you will stay there for?”

“I don’t know. Oppa, I’ve looked through some websites and found nice schools to go to. Do you want to choose it for me?”

Hyojoon rubbed her back and smiled at her independence. “Sure.” *She surely has grown up.*

With that, Jiyeon left without informing anyone. Only Hyojoon and her parents knew about it. She promised Hyojoon they would video chat often too, and he finally sent her off to America.

He was worried too, but what could he do?

Jiyeon wanted to go, and he couldn’t say no too. Maybe it was a good chance for her to start anew.

It had been a month ever since her departure. Hyojoon had been video chatting with her as promised, and she was actually turning better.

That made Hyojoon relieved, of course.

However, his friendship with Myungsoo deteriorated.

Ever since the confession of Jiyeon, the guys seemed to have an awkward feeling whenever they were together.

And well, since Myungsoo was busy with his girl and his studies, they simply cut off contact with each other.

“Oppa~”

“Yeah, baby sis?”

“What are you eating?!”

“Your favorite Kimchi pancake~”
