“NA HYUNJUNG! STOP RIGHT THERE!”

Hyunjung turned around with her tongue out, “YOU CAN’T CATCH ME, CHANDOO-AH! AND I SAID CALL ME JIYEON! I CHANGED MY NAME!”

Chandoo wasn’t pissed. Instead, he was happy. Jiyeon was free that day so she went to his workplace, finding him for some lunch.

He laughed as he continued running, trying to catch the girl who just took his phone away.

However, she stopped all of the sudden.

Not because she wanted to.

But because she bumped into someone.

Jiyeon fell onto the floor at once, first. She whined at the pain and looked up, only to see a male standing in front of her.

“Hello! Why aren’t you helping me up when you pushed me?!”

“Says the girl who have her eyes at the back of her head.” The male figure scoffed instead.

That pissed her off.

“YAH!” Jiyeon stood up hurriedly and glared at him. “Why are you so mean?! You’re the guy so you should be gentleman!”

“I’m a gentleman but not to girls like you.” He smirked in victory when he saw her face. She had her jaws widened.

“Myungsoo hyung!”

Jiyeon turned to her side only to find Chandoo running over with a wide smile, waving at the male figure. “Chandoo! You know this brat?!”

“This brat? Who’s the brat?”

“This guy!” Jiyeon pointed to Myungsoo, and Chandoo nodded his head at once.

“Yeah! He’s in my department too! And he’s the best guy ever. He always help people around and finishes his work on time. Why did you call him a brat?!”

Jiyeon widened his eyes at the description she just heard. “No he did not do that.”

“Yes he did!”

“NO! He’s a brat! He’s not gentleman at all!”

Myungsoo smirked with his arms crossed. He’s finding her interesting as seconds ticked by. “I’ve told you. I don’t have to be a gentleman when I met girls like you.”

That made Chandoo laughed. “Girls… Pff-Hahahahaha! Girls like you!”

“YAH! CHANDOO! STOP LAUGHING! WHY ARE YOU SIDING HIM TOO!?” Jiyeon whined while stomping her legs on the floor.

Chandoo was used to it.

But Myungsoo wasn’t.

And he simply found her cute.

He hid his smile and nudged Chandoo instead. “She’s your friend?”

“Yup!” This time, Chandoo walked over to Jiyeon and placed his arms on her shoulders. “She’s my high school mate and we’re best friend since then!”

He spotted his phone on her hand and snatched it over immediately. “And I won, Hyunjung-ah~”

“I said call me Jiyeon!” Jiyeon whined again, and that made Chandoo laughed too.

“Fine fine. Jiyeon~”

“That’s more like it.”

Chandoo ruffled her hair playfully before pinching her cheeks, “Let’s go now, huh? Or I’ll be late for work later!”

He then turned to Myungsoo, “Hyung! Wanna join us for lunch?”

“WHY DID YOU ASK HIM, CHANDOO!”

Myungsoo giggled at her reaction before nodding his head, “Sure! I’ll be glad to join you both for lunch!”

“YAH! WHO SAID YOU CAN JOIN US FOR LUNCH?!”

“I said so.” Myungsoo smugly said and walked to the lift, while Chandoo dragged Jiyeon over too. Jiyeon just had to give up being annoyed since she can’t change a thing too.

They went to a simple Korean restaurant for lunch and ordered whatever they wanted to eat. Jiyeon’s food came first and she slurped the soup at once.

“HMM! THIS IS YUMMY!” She took a spoonful up and brought it near Chandoo’s lips, “Drink it! Drink it!”

Chandoo took it willingly and nodded his head with a wide smile. “That’s your favourite soup too!”

“Yes it is!”

Jiyeon giggled and took another spoonful up to Myungsoo’s lip, “Ja! Drink it, babo!”

Myungsoo looked at her and back to the spoon. That was when he felt his heart racing. Right when he wanted to take the soup in, Jiyeon brought it back to her own mouth.

She then started laughing at her own joke.

Chandoo too, laughed with her at her silly actions.

They finally stopped laughing when they realized Myungsoo maintained a poker face.

Jiyeon gulped hardly and took another spoonful up to his lips, “Drink it! Drink it! I promise I won’t take it back now!”

He gave no reaction.

Jiyeon started to feel worried. She hated awkwardness alright. So she put her spoon on his lips, “Open up, babo!”

He did not do it.

He remained still.

Jiyeon pouted sadly as poked his lips with her spoon.

Chandoo realized it and kicked Myungsoo’s leg once and signalled him to look at her face. He knew Myungsoo was joking too, of course.

Myungsoo took a look and widened his eyes in horror. She looked as though she was about to cry.

He took the soup right at once which made Jiyeon brightened up immediately. “Yummy right?!”

“Yes, it’s yummy.” Myungsoo smiled too, and pushed her bowl nearer to her, “Eat it before it turns cold, babo.”

“Yes, babo!” Jiyeon giggled and dug in at once.

That made the two guys smiled.

After lunch was over, the guys returned to work while Jiyeon went home. “Is she always like this?”

“Jiyeon? Yes she is. She’s always thing playful and cute.”

Myungsoo looked at Chandoo as though he had grown another head.

“What?”

“You like her?”

“No way!”

“You sounded as though you like her!”

Chandoo let out a deep sigh. “I used to like another girl who was also her best friend. But she liked another guy, who Jiyeon had a crush on too.”

“Wow.”

“It’s complicated, I know. We’re all friends actually. The guy, Baekhyun, seemed to like my crush too, Pulip.”

“Then what happened?”

“Jiyeon saw Baekhyun one night, in a park, and he was approaching Pulip’s lips. She told me when she got home and cried the whole night. She knew I like Pulip too. She just wanted me to know about the truth otherwise
