TICKET

It has been a couple days since Kyungsoo’s breakup with Jongin and he just seemed completely out of it. Every time Jongin walked passed by Kyungsoo, he would have these feelings of missing Jongin and just have a depressing day. Baekhyun and everyone else did their best to cheer Kyungsoo up, but it seemed like nothing would work unless Jongin got his memory back and fixed everything. The days were Hell to Kyungsoo as he was single and found nothing happy at all anymore. That boy who would just seemingly smile and be happy for no reason was completely changed and walked around with his head down for a reason. It hurt his friends a lot to see him act like this and all because of Jongin. They couldn’t hate him, how could they? Jongin didn’t do anything wrong after all. Because he lost his memory, he couldn’t really be blamed for such an act. It’s only been a week since Jongin lost his memory and Kyungsoo couldn’t believe it himself that so much has happened. The days went by slowly and depressingly as Kyungsoo wakes up to find that the unfortunate has happened. School and everything just didn’t seem like it was worth trying and he wanted to lock himself up in his room.

“I can’t stand to see Kyungsoo like this anymore. I hate it and it’s so upsetting! Ah, I wish there was more I could do for him…” Baekhyun kept stabbing his food as he was angered by Kyungsoo’s depression.

“Well, what’re you going to do about it? I think he just needs time with his friends.” Chanyeol proposed to have a day where they all hung out together as a group.

“Wait… I think I have a better idea. Break is coming up this week and Kyungsoo has ALWAYS wanted to go to Tokyo…”

“You’re going to take him to Tokyo?!” Chanyeol was surprised by Baekhyun’s idea.

“Why’re you so surprised??”

“That’s a lot of money isn’t it?!”

“Don’t worry, my dad is a pilot and he said that I can take my friends to Tokyo this break because he got promoted not so long ago.”

“That’s awesome! Are you going to bring Jongin with you?” Baekhyun shook his head.

“If I bring Jongin with us, Kyungsoo will never be able to fight off the feelings.”

“I guess you’re right… Who else is going?”

“I was thinking the three of us and Jessica.”

“Sausage fest and a girl… I guess that’s alright…”

“Hey! Shut up! We will have our own special room though.” Baekhyun winked.

“Oo, I can’t wait to see this all unfold.” Chanyeol kissed Baekhyun’s cheek.

“Kyungsoo! You ready for break?!” Baekhyun shouted as Kyungsoo was opening the door to his house. Kyungsoo had a blank expression on his face and shrugged his shoulders.

“It’s just another break… nothing new. Nothing to look forward to.”

“Are you sure? You don’t have ANY plans for a month?!”

“I thought I did… Did you want something?”
“Come on, be more cheerful why won’t you?” Kyungsoo sighed.

“Cheerful about what? My life is being wasted. Day by day, I just follow the same depressing path of life and end up here… Miserable as ever.”

“That’s because you seclude yourself in your own misery… Why don’t you spend time with Chanyeol or I? Maybe Jessica!”

“Sorry Baekhyun, I don’t want to be a drag in your happiness… You guys can be happy without me, I don’t think I can help make it any better.”

“Sure you can’t bring our happiness up… Actually, we’re miserable with you being like that. I want you to hang out with us. This way, you can get your mind off of things and be happy with your friends! Come on Kyungsoo, please give us a shot!”

“Maybe… I don’t know Baekhyun, I’ll think about it.” Kyungsoo walked in his house and Baekhyun followed. Kyungsoo turned around to Baekhyun and just stared at him.

“What… It’s not like I’m a stranger to your home.”

“Baekhyun, go home. I want to-”

“Stop, I’m not going anywhere until it’s late at night and I am ready to knock out. I will stay with you until that time comes. I’m not leaving you, I haven’t hung out with you since… Wow, since like forever!”

“I’m sorry… I guess…”

“Kyungsoo, can I see a genuine smile? This whole situation with you is so depressing and it’s bad for you!”

“Baekhyun, please just go. This is why I don’t want you guys to be with me, you’ll just be more hurt than ever-” Baekhyun hugged Kyungsoo tightly and started tearing. Kyungsoo could feel the tears, but couldn’t make it as saliva or tears. “Are you me?”

“It’s my tears dummy.”

“Why’re you crying?”

“Because Kyungsoo is gone… This isn’t Kyungsoo, I want my best friend back. Chanyeol and Jessica wants Kyungsoo back. This is not Kyungsoo.”

“Baekhyun… I don’t know what I can do…”

“You were happy before all of this happened. Find that happiness again… I will do whatever I can to help you. I will fight through this with you until you can finally smile without having to depend on Jongin.”

“I really wish it was that easy… I really want to be happy with you guys rather than with Jongin…” Baekhyun let go and looked into Kyungsoo’s watery eyes. Baekhyun wiped Kyungsoo’s tears away.

“Stop crying… Be strong Kyungsoo. Be strong for your dongsaeng! Hyung, are you going to be a soft person in front of your dongsaeng?” Kyungsoo shook his head and wiped his tears away with his sleeve.

“I just… I just don’t know how to help you guys…”

“We’re supposed to help you! We’re going to help you!”

“I really hope you have something extravagant because I will not get my mind off of him so easily…” Baekhyun reached into his pocket and turned around.

“Be prepared Do Kyungsoo…” Baekhyun turned back around and present Kyungsoo with tickets to Tokyo, Japan. Kyungsoo’s face lit up with a huge smile.

“T-T-T-T-TOKYO?! JAPAN! OH MY GOSH, BAEKHYUN!”

“Your smile! It’s back!”

“HOW DID YOU GET THESE?!”

“My dad got promoted a couple days ago! He says I can take some friends to around the Asia area and I chose Japan.”

“You’re the best Baekhyun!” Kyungsoo hugged Baekhyun.

“Ah, it’s alright Kyungsoo! Be happy now! You’re going to TOKYO!”

Sorry for the late update! T-T I had to write a story for English class yesterday, so I was unable to write anything! I will work on more tomorrow! This is a lighter chapter than what’s coming up. :D
