Meant to Be?CHASE
She called me her son… Will I still be seen that way even if I do go back to her? What do I do?
Luhan nervously looked back and forth between Sehun and his mother. He didn’t know which of the two to pick. He could pick Sehun, but that would mean leaving his home and he wasn’t sure how he would stay outside of his house. Even if Sehun let him in, how long before Sehun would get tired and throw him out? Luhan looked at the other option of staying with his mother. She would still take care of him, but how much does she love him after seeing what had happened? He would lose Sehun and would never be able to see him again. Luhan thought about it for another minute and the decision seemed easy. Just leave his mother and be with Sehun. The person who brought him into this is the person he would give up so many things for, including his mother.
“I’ve made my decison.” Both Sehun and Luhan’s mother looked up.
“What is it?” Luhan sighed and turned around to Sehun. He looked back to his mother and let out a breath.
“I’m staying here with you, Mom…” Luhan turned around to Sehun with an apologetic face, “I’m sorry.” Luhan could see the tears forming in Sehun’s eyes and he looked away to avoid being seen. Luhan walked over and hugged Sehun before he got up.
“It’s fine… I’m glad you’ve figured it out though…” Sehun started to walk away before Luhan grabbed his arm.
“I’ll walk you home.” Sehun smiled and took Luhan’s hand off his arm.
“You don’t need to. I’m glad I could be here for you.” Sehun started making his way down the stairs and Luhan looked his mom. She gave him an angry stare before making her way to her room. Luhan heard the door close downstairs and sighed. He looked in both directions and walked slowly back into his room. He sat on his bed and let out his tears alone.
I just really did say goodbye to Sehun…

Sehun was a few blocks from Luhan’s house and turned around in hopes that he might see Luhan in the distance. He turned away after keeping his vision locked on that street for a minute. He sighed and let the rain mask the tears that was flowing down his face. As he walked farther and farther away from Luhan’s house, he could make out the memories that had just occurred an hour ago. The two of them were running away from the rain, but were so free-spirited. They were laughing and smiling, just enjoying the day even though it was pouring out. It didn’t bother any of them. Sehun always thought that rain brought sadness, but in those moments, he knew he was wrong. His flashback ended when he heard a car beeping at him. He had been walking in the middle of the road and stepped out of its way.
“Sorry!” The driver pulled up and rolled down his window.
“What’re you doing walking in this weather? And walking in the middle of the street? Be more careful.” The driver zoomed off and Sehun was once again left alone to walk home.

Luhan looked out his window and saw that it was still pouring outside and wondered about Sehun. His mind couldn’t feel relieved even though he had chosen to stay with his mom. He figured that his mom would eventually make peace with him and they would love each other like before. His mother walked in the room and took a look around.
“What’s wrong with you? Why’re you crying?” Luhan wiped the tears away.
“Nothing is wrong, I’ll clean up now.” Luhan’s mother stopped him before he made his way to the bathroom.
“I hope you’re not crying about Sehun.”
“Mom, move.”
“I can’t believe this. I can’t believe the kind of person you’ve become.” Luhan’s mother walked down the stairs and apparently went outside. The door slammed shut and Luhan began crying again. He slid down the wall and sat down crying into his knees.

Sehun walked passed the window of the ice cream shop that the two boys had visited earlier.
If only I could replay those moments. If I could relive them all the time, I would be so happy.
Sehun sighed and continued making his way back home. He was looked at by the people walking passed him. Some of them wondered why this lonely boy was walking in the pouring rain. Others didn’t care as they were busy with their own issues. Sehun had only about 10 minutes of walking left before he was able to get home.
“I wish you were here, Luhan.” Sehun started making his way passing a busy highway. He did not notice all the cars passing by. They all made way for him and many of them beeped. It was as if Sehun was blind and deaf while passing this street. Nothing seemed worth it anymore to him, he just wanted to be sleeping in his bed and pretend that this was all a nightmare. Sehun turned his head just slightly and realized a car coming towards him. He quickly came back to reality and realized that this was the end for him. He covered his eyes with one arm. The other arm was pulled by a strong force and Sehun realized that he was now lying on a concrete sidewalk. He was panting and turned to his side. The person who saved him was Luhan.
“L-Luhan!”
“Are you crazy?! You could’ve been killed!”
“It’s bette than living at this moment… Why’re you here? You’ll get in trouble.”
“Close your eyes. I have a gift for you. Don’t open them until I tell you to open them, even if you think you should.” Luhan got up and picked Sehun up by the hand.
“Alright, fine.” Sehun closed his eyes and felt soft lips touching his own. He knew this would be the last kiss he would share with Luhan, so he made it all worth it. He kept his lips locked with Luhan’s for as long as he could. Luhan pulled away and Sehun started opening his eyes.
“No, keep them closed!” Sehun immediately snapped his eyes closed once again.
“I have one more gift for you.”

I didn’t know if I should keep on writing, or not. I just felt this was a nice cliffhanger. ;D Hehe.
