CLEARED

The four of them stood there stunned at the note. They all knew what to obviously so. They needed to protect Kyungsoo.

“We can’t let you be alone anymore.” Chanyeol suggested the idea.

“That’s right, it’s going to be really risky going at it alone.” Jongin support his idea.

“Then I suggest we all go to Kyungsoo’s house… Well if that’s alright with you.” Baekhyun looked to Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo nodded. He had a scared look on his face. He didn’t know what to think. The broken glass on the floor, the note, and the words left behind by Tiffany. What was he supposed to think? He can only look to his wounds to see the damage he’s done to himself.

This wasn’t her doing… it was all mine.

“Ah, Kyungsoo, I’m so sorry about all of this…” Jongin felt extremely guilty and couldn’t help himself.

“Jongin, it wasn’t your fault. Don’t blame yourself.” Kyungsoo went up to him and hugged him. “Don’t hurt yourself over this.” Kyungsoo wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do or not. He just wanted to hug someone. Getting a hug from Jongin was the most perfect thing.

“Aw, how cute! Now let’s get a move on before Ms. Crazy decides to pull something else.” Baekhyun turned to Chanyeol who was fake crying.

“It’s so beautiful.”

“Alright, let’s get going.” Baekhyun pulled Kyungsoo away and the four of them started making their way to Kyungsoo’s house.

Kyungsoo’s dad walks into the house and greets his wife with the news

“It’s bad out there. Broken glass in front of the school… looks like no one was harmed.”

“Oh dear, it seems to be those meddling kids again. Speaking of kids, where’s ours?”

“Who knows, maybe they’re with their friends. They have a social life you know.”

Just then Kyungsoo walked into the doorway and greeted his parents.

“Kyungsoo-ah! Baekhyun-ah! So nice to see you! My, my it’s quite late. Did practice get held back a little bit?” Kyungsoo shook his head. Chanyeol walked into the door and bowed and greeted Kyungsoo’s parents.

“Chanyeol-ah! Good evening!” Jongin walks in right after his mother is finished greeting Chanyeol.

“Jongin-ah… Wow, we have a whole group here today!” Jongin bows.

“What’s going on?”

“Mom, can they stay over tonight? I know it’s a lot, but we can share beds.”

“Sure sweetie, what’s going on though?” Kyungsoo walked up to his mother and let out a breath. Kyungsoo’s dad’s phone rang and everyone waited in silence. Kyungsoo’s dad turned immediately to Kyungsoo with his eyes wide open and his jaw dropped.

“Kyungsoo is what?! The intended target?!” His mother gasped and covered . Once Mr. Do got off the phone, he slowly sat down and looked up at his son.

“Son…” Baekhyun looked up since it was so natural. “Why did you keep this from me…?”

“Dad, it only just happened not so long ago. I wasn’t sure what to do and I didn’t want to disrupt the crime scene. So now you know…  It’s this girl… She’s trying to get at me-”

“She’s my ex-girlfriend. She thinks that Kyungsoo ruined our relationship so now she’s trying to get back at him for it. Don’t think he did anything wrong because he didn’t. It’s all my fault.” Jongin interrupted the two and Mr. Do was shocked to hear that.

“So your girlfriend is trying to kill my son?!”

“Dad, it’s not that. It’s not Jongin’s fault. She’s just psycho who thinks that getting me back is the best answer to this. It’s not really going to solve anything to be honest.”

“Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier?”

“I didn’t know what to do honestly, it was all a shock to me and my mind was boggled.”

“You have three other people with you…”

“Dad, don’t blame them. It’s my fault this all happened. They were just there for me.” Mr. Do smiled.

“Well son, not only are you lucky because you escaped that incident, you’re also very lucky to have such loyal and wonderful friends. Looks like I raised you right.” He turned to Jongin and smiled.

So this is the one he likes…

“Thank you, Jongin.” Jongin bowed.

“It’s not a problem.”

“Alright, you kids get off to bed and I’ll handle this. You’ll have to be brought in since you are witnesses, but nothing will happen. First, I have to catch this girl.”

“Tiffany Hwang.” Jongin told him her address and other information that he could’ve possible needed.

“Thank you, once again. You kids just go relax for now. Kyungsoo…” He grabbed Kyungsoo’s shoulders. “Don’t worry about anything, we’ll get this girl and you’ll be safe, alright?” Kyungsoo nodded and hugged his dad.

“Thanks so much dad!” After they finished hugging, Mr. Do went out to go investigate and file the reports.

“Do you guys want anything to eat?” The four of them looked at each other and noticed that they hadn’t eaten since noon. This was now 7 PM. They all nodded in unison.

“Alright, go sit down and I’ll prepare some food for you guys!” Mrs. Do had already prepared Kimchi Spaghetti and warmed it up for everyone. It seemed like a competition due to how fast they were eating.

“Slow down kids, you will get a heartburn!” Luckily no one did and they finished all that Mrs. Do prepared.

“That was delicious, as usual, Mom!” Baekhyun always loved her Kimchi Spaghetti. Kyungsoo also learned the recipe and he learned it from none other than his mother.

“Yeah, that was awesome!” Chanyeol felt like he’s never tasted anything so amazing.

“Mrs. Do, you should open up a restaurant! This was amazing!” Mrs. Do was flattered by the compliments she was receiving.

“You give me too much credit. Come on, let’s get washed up.” Mrs. Do left to go to sleep since she had work tomorrow. “Goodnight kids!”

“Goodnight!” They all screamed in unison.

So sorry it took a little bit for me to update! I’m on vacation and I didn’t have wifi the other night. This chapter also took me a while. I had to think for a while on where to go. Sorry once again guys! D: Well I hope you enjoyed it! It’s nothing too scary at the end. Things will start to pick up, though! ;D
