Art Part 2

How It All Came To Be...

You walked into art and sat at your regular spot, hoping Jin would return to his regular seat. Mr. Chanyeol waved as you walked in, his teachings needed elsewhere before being able to give you a proper "hello". You sat there patiently and pondered on what you would do if your first project in class was drawing something. You wondered what you would draw. Maybe a person? Maybe some nature? Maybe a cartoon? Well then again it all depended upon what Mr. Chanyeol assigned. Your skills were above average, portraits being your strong suit. You traced your fingers along your sketchbook and smiled to all the memories it held inside its old pages.

Jin walked into class with a heavy heart, he was still wondering about Mr. Tao, your shared first hour teacher. Even though he didn't know what he would say to you he still took his spot next to you, but dismissing a bright smile with a weak one. Once he saw how happy and normal you were it made him a little weak in the knees, your smile made him forget his horrid thoughts, even though for only a moment.

When Jin sat next to you, you couldn't help but smile happily and straighten in your chair slightly. Upon seeing Jin's obviously forced weak smile you frowned a little and looked away, wondering if something was bothering him. As you turned to say something Mr. Chanyeol took a seat across from you and finally got his chance to do his appropriate introduction.

"Hello ______." He smiled.

"Good afternoon Mr. Chanyeol." You bowed in your chair and Jin followed, without glancing at you.

"Yah! I told you just to call me Chanyeol." He pouted cutely and you laughed.

"Alright... Chanyeol." You smiled.

"That's better!" He smiled and then the look in his eyes changed from bright to curious, "Hey, am I right that I'm going to be seeing you occasionally outside of school starting next Monday and for two weeks?" He asked.

Upon hearing those exact days you leaned into the table more. When Jin heard their teacher talk about seeing you after school for more than one day he became very attentive and concerned.

"Are you friends with Mr. Tao and Mr. LuHan?" You whispered.

Chanyeol nodded and smiled, "I go to their house for dinner almost every night, so I'll see you there, right?"

"Right!" You smiled.

"She's going to be at their house?" Jin's thoughts started taking a turn in the wrong direction and he couldn't help but wonder what your relationship with Mr. Tao AND Mr. LuHan was.

"Why are we whispering?" Chanyeol asked in confusion.

"Well people can't know about my relations with them, they'll think I'm getting good grades because of it." You whispered.

"Her relation with them?" Jin was silently freaking out.

Jin was determined to find out your relations with those teachers, whether it was by openly asking you, asking the teachers, or finding out some other way. He was going to make sure his thoughts weren't true, because they were slowly breaking his heart.

"Ahhhh... I understand. I'll keep your secret." Chanyeol signaled zipped lips and stood going around the room and starting some students on projects.

He gave you and Jin a project of drawing whatever you wanted. The first thing that popped in your mind was to do a portrait of someone and the first person you thought of was the dear boy sitting next to you. When you turned to look to Jin he was suddenly packing up his things and standing by the door with everyone else. You looked at the time and saw that class was about to end. You waved a farewell to Chanyeol and went to your next hour with a heavy mind.

Throughout the next hour Jin and you had sighed enough time to blow up at least twenty balloons. Even though you were in separate classrooms, your mind was only on each other and you were secretly wondering what the other was thinking about.

Once your last hour ended you ran up to your locker and grabbed your backpack and everything, excited to head home. When you closed your locker you saw Jin walking, alone. Being the curious person you are you followed behind him from afar. You followed and saw him not meet up with anyone, but go to the rooftop. You tilted your head in concern for why he would go up there, but still followed anyways.

Jin walked up the stairs to the roof in a painful way. He took his sweet time and once he finally made it up he relished in the delightful small breeze overtaking the slightly warm day. At the corner of the roof was a thick cement wall that he had always gone to and leaned against, capturing his thoughts. He went over and leaned against it now, trying to sort his thoughts about you and the teachers. He relished in the quiet of the open roof and clanked out for a moment, deep in thought.

As you watched him lean and sit against a wall on the roof you pulled out your camera.

"These are one of those good pictures to draw..." You took a side picture of him (Picture at top) and you were quite thankful he didn't notice you or the camera.

Upon seeing him deep in thought you left, knowing that disturbing him was not something you wanted to do. You walked downstairs and met up with Mina, heading home. Jin was all you thought about and you wondered if he truly was okay.

THAT NIGHT
