35th day in Seoul. 3rd day in Busan.

It’s like a bestfriend but more, it’s the one person in the world who knows you better than anyone else. That someone who makes you a better person, no, actually they don’t make you a better person, you do that yourself because they inspire you.

At last! My 3 days in Busan went out well although, I was so drained with all the things that we have done there. My schedule will start by 8 in the morning and ends 9 in the evening, I’ve never had a seminar that hectic before. I didn’t even have the time to talk to G-dragon, we just exchange messages and that’s it, totally .

“Hello?” I went out of the bathroom with my hair dripping and my body still full of soap.

“Hi my lovely daughter!” mum greeted cheerfully.

“Hey mum! How are you?” I said as I went back to the bathroom.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Taking a bath…I’m going to put you on speaker mum…so that I can continue bathing!” I called out and put my phone on the top sink.

“Fine…are you busy?” she asked.

“Nope…I’m about to go back to Seoul…I’m in Busan now…I just finished a seminar” I told her while rinsing my body.

“What time are you coming back to Seoul?” she asked.

“I’m gonna leave 2 hours from now…why?” I asked.

“Nothing” she said and I can sense something is not right.

“Mum…spit it out…why is that all of a sudden you’re asking me what time I’ll go home? Are you here in Korea?” I asked and I’m preparing myself for her answer.

“NO! I’m here at my office” she said and I can hear people talking on her end.

“Then why did you call?” I asked her. It’s not really typical of mum to call me, it’s usually my dad who calls regularly.

“I called because…we want to ask you if you have received our early birthday gift for you” she said with excitement.

“Wow mum! Thank you! I thought you’re already done with giving me birthday gifts?” I joked and she laughed.

“Well…you know how much I love you…I guess you haven’t seen it yet because we sent it in Seoul” she said.

“Well…can I guess what it is?” I said while wiping my body.

“You already know it…so no need to guess…it’s not even a surprise” she told me and I smirked.

“Mum…I’m actually expecting you to tell me that you’ve changed location…but I guess…I’ll be going to Bora Bora Island again” I said.

“Well…I’ve been thinking of booking a flight for you to Paris…but I’m afraid that you may never come back again” she said.

“Why is that?” I asked and went out of the bathroom.

“Paris is really the place for you sweety…you will fit in there…but it’s not that good to celebrate your birthday there…you’ll just splurge a lot of money in shopping…and right now…me and your dad can’t take a huge amount of credit card bills” she said and I laughed.

“I’m cool with Bora Bora mum…thank you…are you guys coming with me?” I asked.

My parents and I always spend my birthday in that Island ever since I was young. It already became a tradition for us.

“No…we can’t…dad’s really busy with work” she said and I rolled my eyes.

“How about you? Don’t tell me you’re not busy…coz if that’s what you’re about to say mum…I’m going to party” I joked and she laughed so hard.

“I’m busy as well sweety…it’s just that…dad is busier now…it’s really hard…we’re living in one house but we rarely see each other” she said in a sad tone.

I can picture me and G-dragon with what my mum and dad are right now. Because of their work, they are so busy that seeing each other is hard. The thing is, it’s really hard but we all can’t do anything about it.

“I know what you feel mum” I said and she gasp.

“Oh sweety…is your boyfriend always away?” she asked and I got shocked that she knows about G-dragon.

“MUM! How did you know that I have a boyfriend?” I asked.

“The girls told me dear…and I’m so happy for you…how I wish I can be there to witness your first relationship blossom” she said in a dream like voice.

I can’t believe Railey and Daryl did that! They know that my mum has this thing about me being in a relationship, she’s always the one telling me that I have to find a boyfriend as soon as possible because she’s afraid that I’m going to be an old maid. And now that my mum knows about it, she will not stop bugging me about G-dragon and what’s happening in our relationship.

“Well…there’s nothing to hide…surprise mum! I’ve found me a boyfriend!” I said in a sarcastic tone.

“Oh sweety…I really love to meet him…I can’t wait!” she shrieked.

“Does dad knows about this?” I asked.

“Of course he does! He can’t believe it as well…and we’re both happy for you” she said and I smiled.

“I’ve got myself a good man mum…nothing to worry about” I told her sincerely.

“I know that he is a great guy…he’s really handsome and smart…I didn’t know that he’s a composer…you guys are just so compatible” she said.

So I guess my mum already did a research about G-dragon. That’s what I’m talking about, she’s going to involve herself in our relationship as much as possible. Good luck to G-dragon.

“Yes mum…he is…you know a lot!” I said and she giggled.

“I can’t help myself! I’m also listening to Big Bang now because of him…they’re really interesting” she said.

So my mum is a new VIP, I see.

“I love lies…and G-dragon’s butterfly” she said and I laughed just by hearing her.

“Mum…I can’t believe it…you’re really a fan now…you even know the titles of their songs” I said and she laughed.

“Of course!” she agreed with a laugh.

Well, mum asked me a lot of things about G-dragon, there are still a lot of questions that I haven’t answered like his family background and so on and so forth. Because of our fast growing relationship, we tend to forget the basic “getting to know each other” thing but it’s fine since we can randomly talk about it in the days to come.
