I wasn’t able to sleep at all the night before my trip to Jeju. I was so engrossed in making music and writing songs that I forgot about the time and even the trip. If it wasn’t for Teddy hyung, I will not even bother to go home.

The moment I arrived at the dorm, I just took a nap and a bath. Manager hyung picked me up after an hour and head to the airport. I took the time to rest in the car, on the way to the airport to “energize”, but after a while, my phone rang and it’s YG hyung.

“Hyung” my eyes are still closed and I doubt if I can get whatever he’s going to say because my mind is not functioning well.

“Jiyong-ah….are you at the airport already?” he ask.

“Not yet hyung…we’re on the way”

“Jiyng” I’m not used with him calling my name in every sentence. Usually he’ll use “Yah” or “Hey” to address me. That’s how comfortable we are to each other “I know you are aware of the rumors coming out…right? Where Clara is a part of” he stopped and cleared his throat “You know so well that there will be a lot of fans and people at the airport …I just want you to be aware of that and be careful... you two have been seen a lot of times and many are thinking that you are just hiding your relationship” he continued while I nod my head as if he can see me.

“People will surely speculate on why you’re going on a trip together…some might even believe the rumors...so if it possible… don’t be too close to each other….don’t do things that will make the people think about you dating her or you guys are in a relationship…don’t worry…I am doing everything to end all of this”

YG hyung makes sense. If people see us together they will just assume that we are going in a sweet trip or something like that, but I don’t know why I’m pissed about what he said. Although I know that he’s only concerned about me and Clara.

What will I do now? It will be so hard for me to ignore her. Can’t I say hello or Good Morning? And is she even aware of what YG hyung said a while ago? AISH! Don’t tell me this will carry on for the whole trip. That just can’t be. I already have plans about this trip and ignoring her is not even on the list. I’m pretty sure that she will think that I’m some bipolar dude because yesterday, I was so good to her, and now, all of a sudden, I’m suppose to ignore her like I didn’t know her.

When we arrived at the airport, fans are already waiting. I wonder how Clara came in without being noticed. My mind is in a mess right now. Is she even here? Maybe she backed out last minute.

The first person I saw was her. She’s talking with Ji eun noona. I smiled in relief upon seeing her. At least I know she’ll be with me for three whole days. My mood changed from being gloomy to happy. I want to greet her but I don’t know how and I don’t want to come near for we are too visible enough for people to see.

“Hyung…I think the girls should leave first…Clara and I cannot be seen going in the same plane together” I told Manager hyung.

When the girls are already out of sight, we head to the plane as well. Great thinking Jiyong! Now, no pictures of you and Clara will come out.

We walked in the plane and I saw Clara and her secretary sitting behind us. As I come near my seat, she smiled at me that made my heart flip, but I just pretended to not notice and settled down. I can hear them talking. And from the tone of her voice, I can say that she is excited.  I heard that she wants to tour the island and because she wants it, I’ll try my best to make it happen in my own little way.

When we arrived at Jeju, the weather is so nice though it’s a bit hot for me. There are also fans waiting at the airport. Clara and I can’t still be seen together, so the girls went down the plane first before us. AISH! If only I know it will turn out to be this way, I should have not asked YG hyung to invite her. My main purpose of her going with us is for me to get to know her better and be friends with her, and if I’ll be brave enough, confess my feelings for her. But now, I don’t think all of that will happen.

YG hyung rented a bus for us and when I hopped in, Clara is sitting alone. My innards flipped and there’s a voice telling me to sit beside her.

“Hyung…where is Clara’s secretary?” I whispered to my Manager who is busy getting fan letters and gifts from the fans outside the bus.

“Oh… I think she’s with Ji eun.. .they’re buying something” he replied and at that point, I already decided to sit beside her.

Honestly, I really can’t believe this is happening to me. I know that whenever I’m in-love, which happens rarely, I act so fast that sometimes I’ll tell the girl right away what I feel towar
