Yuri POV

This house has never been this quiet. It wasn't like this even before Tiffany started to live in here. Sunkyu has never been this lifeless. Ever since he saw his mom with another man, he started to be like this. Doesn't talk, doesn't even play with his friends, and only alienates himself inside his room. Sometimes, I see him just staring outside through the window all day. Believe me, I tried to talk to him about Tiffany but he always escapes from me every time I brought her up in our conversation. Now I feel more awful. I really am the one to blame in here.

Tiffany and I had constant communications ever since the scene at the mall happened. She was so worried about Sunkyu. She tried to talk to him by waiting for him after school and even visits here sometimes. Yet, none of them had worked on him. Sunkyu was so adamant on his decision not to talk to her anymore.

But after I found out about Tiffany uttering those bittersweet words to Sooyoung, the I-love-you bomb I mean to say, I decided to refrain from talking to her. Who wouldn't get to miss that? Sooyoung literally announced it on each and every corners of the campus. *Sigh* It was like only six months ago when Tiffany told me she loved me, now I'm nothing to her anymore. Hmmmm- But you know what? It's kind of weird actually. It was only few weeks ago when Tiffany 'accidentally' told me about her missing me so much at her dormitory. She even cried in front of me. I guess love sure strikes someone so fast.

What hurts more is... Tiffany told him that exactly at the start of final examinations and you know what happened? I lost my focus for the whole week. I'm certain that I'm going to fail this semester. Like seriously, I was never this distracted. I don't even know if I'm shading the right letters or even know if I really answered them right.

So, now is the release of examination results. I told Taeyeon to just take a peek over the results in my college since I couldn’t ask Yoong because he’s out-of-the-country at this moment along with his girlfriend. And of course, I could never ever ask this favor to Sooyoung. In conclusion, I'm just exactly right here at my apartment, sitting on the couch, waiting.

Waiting...

And waiting...

Oh man, Taeyeon, why are you taking so long?!

     "Yuri-ah, someone’s calling you!~"

Oh thank goodness. Finally!

     "Yuri-ah, someone’s calling you!~"

I know what you are thinking... I'm still not changing my Tiffany ringtone. Alright, I'm guilty on that part. This is the only thing left for me okay so give me a break. Gee, I think I'm gonna cry.

     "Yuri-ah, someone’s calling you!~"

Okay, here it is. I picked up my phone and answered, "Hello, Yul speaking."

"Yo dude."

"Come on. Tell me, did I passed or what?"

"You failed."

...

"What?!"

"Come over here right now. Professor Kang's totally goin' haywire! You failed him on the quiz bee, now you made him lose his bet on who's going to be the top against Professor Kim. Yoong topped in your college, by the way... Anyway, hurry!" and he hung up. Damn it. I failed?! This cannot be true! Aigoo...

I quickly dressed up and rushed my way to the front door, "Sunkyu, I'm just gonna go to school, okay. Take charge here!"

"Yes appa..." He glumly said. Aishhh I'm really gonna talk him out when I get home.

*At-Se-Kyung-College-of-Business-Building*

"You. Told. Me. I. Failed."

"Yep."

"What the hell is this?! See I'm on the top two!"

"Yep. You failed." Taeyeon said.

"How can this be a failure to you, huh?"

"Well, you failed to be the top one. That's it. Isn't that called a 'failure'?" Taeyeon asked in a very annoying innocent way.

"You made me rush my way here and turns out it's all just that?"

"Hey, at least, I told you." He said. Arrgh- I swear if I just didn’t want to get my hands dirty, I’m going to kill him.

“I’m going home now...”

“Wait, man! Let’s hang out for a bit. Come on.”

“Now you feel like hanging out with me?!”

“We’re the only two left here. Yoong’s with his GIRLFRIEND out of the country, they must have been ‘bangin’ each other now.” He said mockingly. “...and Sooyoung’s in the U.S. right now too...”

“He’s in the U.S? Is Tiffany with him?”

“Ohhh... Haven’t you heard?”

“Heard what?”

“There have been rumors they broke up. I’m not exactly sure because I haven’t seen Tiffany or Sooyoung since the last day of exams. And--------”

Did I just hear that right? They broke up? As in, THEY BROKE UP?! Wasn’t just last week Tiffany told him those words he had always wanted to hear from her?

“-----that’s it.”

...

“Yuri, did you even hear what I said?”

...

“Helllloooooooooo?!” Taeyeon snapped me out.

“Oh. Say what again?”

He face-palmed himself and sighed, “I said some other students saw Tiffany crying while heading out of the campus after the last exam. They said they saw Hyoyeon with her beforehand. There must have been a confrontation happened with those two. And MAYBE that’s the reason why Tiffany and Sooyoung broke up.” I then looked at him in disbelief.

So, maybe it was true all along?! Hyoyeon is?!?!?!
