Yup, she really is.

Apparently, this woman I am familiar of from long ago opened the front door which had the three of us in a total state of shock. Seriously, what is she doing here?

"Good afternoon." Krystal Jung, Sunkyu's former homeroom teacher, greeted as she wandered her eyes around.

"Is Su--" Before she could finish, Yoong ran to her side and covered .

"H-hi there, Krystal-noona. Ha ha!" He embraced her tight. "What are you doing here? Ha ha. I'm so happy to see you!" He said then broke away. Though, it sounded a little sarcastic to me.

Krystal finally noticed my presence and looked startled a little. Then, she awkwardly greeted him in return, "Err- h-hi, Mr. Yoong Im. It's nice to see you too."

"Krystal?!" Jessica suddenly shouted and stood up. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

I stood up too and asked her, "You both know each other?"

"Oh the hell we know each other too well!" She answered back and crossed her arms, still glaring over Krystal.

Krystal smiled at me. "Hi there, Mrs. Kwon." She redirected to Sica. "Hi there, little sister."

"Little sister?!" Yoong and I shouted in disbelief.

Yet, Sica just ignored us and answered her back, "Don't freaking call me your sister, I don't have a sister!"

"Jesus. Did your teachers ever thought you biology?"

"Whether they did or not, it's none of your business. The point is, I never acknowledge you as my sister!"

"Hmmm. You talk as if you're the legitimate child of mom."

Sica gritted her teeth, ", you are the illegitimate one!"

"You don't have the right to talk to me like that. I am still older than you."

I then intrude, "So, uhh- Ms. Krystal, what are you doing here, anyway?"

"Oh uhhm-- I came here to uhhh--" She then looked away from me and wandered her eyes as if thinking of an alibi.

"She came to visit me!" Yoong butted. "For my birthday, of course!" He looked at her. "Right, noona?"

"Y-yes. Th-that's it. Happy Birthday uhhh, Yoong." And they hugged awkwardly again.

"And how the hell did you know her, Yoong?" Jessica interrogated him.

"Uhh--"

"What now, you're dating her?!"

"No no no no! It's not like that Sica. I---"

"Seriously, out of all people, why her?!"

"Sica, I--" He went near her.

"I cannot believe you! How can you do this to me!?" She started to slap his chest so hard. "I hate you I hate you I hate you!"

"It's not like that, Sica, please listen to me." Yoong tried to stop her yet, he had no luck.

I then butted, "Why are you mad, Sica? There's nothing wrong if Yoong and Ms. Krystal's dating."

"What?!" she shouted then glared at me. "Why are you backing her up and not me?! Aren't you supposed to side with me, being my best friend?!"

"I'm not really backing her up, okay. It's just that, you don't have the right to get mad. You just told me earlier you and Yoong are just friends. Technically, Yoong is single and available."

She looked startled with what I said. "R-right." She distanced herself from Yoong. "R-right, we're just friends."

"..."

"But uhmmm... actually." She took a deep breath. "I am mad because out of all people, it's that Krystal Jung. There. Right." She redirected back to him and jabbed her index finger on his chest. "I'm mad because of that!"

I butted again, "Well, it's not like Yoong still needed permission from you on who he wants to date."

And that got her speechless again. Seriously, this best friend of mine, is a bad liar. I doubt she and Yoong are really just friends now, to be honest.

Krystal then snapped, "I think I better go. Bye, Yoong and Mrs. Kwon..." She then looked at Sica and smirked. "Bye, little sister."

"Wait. I'll walk you out." Yoong offered. Then, they both left.

"Can you believe that?!" Jessica shouted as soon as the front door was closed.

"What to believe?"

"That woman's visiting him?! Why didn't he tell me?!"

"Jessica, does he still nee--"

"Shut it, bestie. I clearly don't need any of your stupid retorts right now. I'm mad. Terribly, totally, extremely mad! Arrghhh--!"

"Okay, wait. Before you transform into your hell-mode, can you at least explain to me how on Earth Ms. Krystal Jung became your older sister?"

"Oh. That..."

"Yes, that. You freaking told me ever since you are the only child of Uncle Vincent."

"Yeah, I am."

"Then???"

"Well, I never told you I'm the only child of my mom. Apparently, she's also her daughter."

"If that is so then, how on Earth she became a Jung? Did your father adopted her officially or something?"

"Nope." She sat down again beside me. "It's just because her real father's a Jung too. It was Uncle Michael, my dad's older brother."

"Whoa... Now that's... a little... complicated."

"Oh no, it's not. You see, my mother was really in love with my father from the very start. But since, Uncle Michael's the heir of Jung household, she was arranged to get married to him instead. Then, he died after three years of their marriage. My father pursued her that same year. That's it. Not that complicated."

"So, why didn't you tell me a thing about this?"

"Because it's really unnecessary. Come on, didn't I just say earlier, I don't acknowledge her as my older sister?"

"I see... So, why don't you?"

She sighed loudly, "Apparently, my whole clan hated my father. And she was actually raised by our aunt then she got brainwashed. So, that is why that Krystal Jung sort of despises me. But she doesn't really need to worry because the feeling is mutual between us."

"Okay then... but that didn't really answer my question. Why don't you acknowledge her?"

"Uggghh- seriously, Tiff, you're so dense. Obviously, it's because she hated me! And take note. That's for no acceptable reason at all! The hell, if she doesn't want me then I don't want her too!"

"Alright. I get it now." Though, it sounded she liked her sister all along. Yet, with Sica's pride, obviously, she denied Krystal in return. *Sigh*. My bestie's life sure is more colorful than a rainbow.

Yoong finally came back. Sica stood up and confronted him with her arms crossed, "Care to explain?"

"There's no need to explain."

"Oh really, huh?"

"Jessica, why don't we go to the kitchen?"

"No, explain here!"

"Kitchen. Now!" Yoong suddenly shouted in fury.

"Hmph!" She stomped her way to the kitchen. Yoong then looked at me and signaled to wait. Then, he followed her.

After a bit, the two came back. Jessica's now smiling widely as if relieved or something. "So, mind tell me what is it you talked about?"

"Nah. It doesn't concern you, bestie." she answered, still smiling weirdly.

"Oh-- okay."

"So, come on. Let's take you home." Before I could even complain Sica dragged me out of the Unit. Not only that, she even took the cab with me and literally taken me home.

*Sigh* Oh well... I guess I bothered their 'friendly' birthday date so much already. I'll just interrogate Jessica some other time.
