A/N: As how the title says... let's have a timeout with the stressful taengsicyoon triangle for a while. (I'm still in the middle of grieving on it tho. >.<) Here it goes...

It has been a month passed since Hyoyeon's belated celebration in Choi's private ski resort happened. Also, that was the last time I've seen the shadow of my best friend, Jessica. She has been skipping from school immediately after that. She's not even living with Yoong anymore. I've been trying to contact her and even asked people around for her whereabouts and yet, no one knows. I've been too tired of searching for her too.

Taeyeon, on the other hand, stopped on hanging out with us. He's been ignoring us ever since that time too and for no definite reason. I guess, he's been too affected by Jessica's rejection that he decided to alienate himself. It was like all of his efforts on trying to get her back went down to the drains in an instant.

Same as Jessica, Yoong has been skipping on his classes too. Ever since the ski resort incident they had, he's been spending most of his time drinking alone, bar-hopping, and even partying in clubs. Yes, I do know his whereabouts as I stalked him one time. I can't help myself but be worried of him. Jessica's confession sure was very depressing if I'm on his shoes. He should have just stayed longer at that weird game Hyoyeon started, yes, but the idea of his girlfriend cheating behind his back with his best friend will definitely not be clouded by such.

I say, these weeks passed definitely are the quietest weeks of my life. With Yuri out for Tokyo, and of course, my friends out of the picture, I've been so lonely as ever. I only get to hang out with Sooyoung though. Yeah, déjà vu. It's the same as during those times we dated, just the two of us.

Right now, I decided to visit Tao in prison. Yeah, I'm still visiting him often as well as his mother though I never really come inside his mother's room at the hospital. I just tend to drop some fruits and other stuff at the nurse station for her.

"Umma, you're weird." Sunkyu snapped as we walk. I decided to bring Sunkyu along in prison too as I don't want him to be left alone at home for today.

"And why did you call me weird?"

"Well... You visited the nurse earlier and you didn't even know who she is. Now, you're going to the prison to visit your kidnapper."

"Sweetie, first, I was not visiting the nurse at the hospital. I visited my brother's mother that was confined there. And, Tao is not my kidnapper any more. He's my brother and it only means that he's your uncle."

"I still don't get it. Why don't you just visit his mother directly?"

"She's still mad at me, Sweetie. It's complicated but you'll get it someday when you grow up."

"And uhhh- so you have a different mother with uncle?"

"Errr-- yes. Your grandfather had two wives."

"Wow. So I ca-"

"No. You can only have one wife."

"But why grandpa can?"

"Because... it doesn't matter. Don't ever have two or more lovers, okay?"

He then sighed, "I wonder when you will tell me something straight. I'm already almost ten, umma. I'm not a kid anymore."

"When you're fourteen and that will be four years more for you. So, just continue enjoying your young life, Sweetie."

"Okay, I'll be expecting that. Promise?"

We finally arrived at the prison. It was only few minutes when Tao finally went out the visiting hall. "Noona!" Tao called in a very happy tone as he walked towards us. He then sat in front us. "So, you finally brought Sunkyu along." He looked at Kyu, "Hi there, I've always wanted to meet you."

"You know me mister?" Kyu asked.

"Yes, your mother has been telling me stories about you."

"Kyu, say hello to your uncle Tao." I said and he complied. "Hello..."

"Noona, uncle sounded old." He chuckled then redirected to Sunkyu, "Just call me Hyung, little kid."

"Alright... So you're really my umma's brother, right?"

"Err-" Tao looked at me in confusion. I signaled him to just play along. He then affirmed, "Yes, kid. I am."

"If you are then why did you kidnap my umma in the first place?"

"Noona, by the way, my sentence was lowered down."

"Really?! How?! What happened?!"

"Calm down." He chuckled.

"I can't just calm down. I've been stressing myself to get you out of here, you know. This is a real big deal."

"Seohyun visited me later after you left yesterday."

"That's so great! I bet your mom will be totally happy she's finally going to see you."
