*8th-of-October*

"Members of the jury, you find the accused Yuri Goo guilty. Please stand to confirm your verdict." the clerk of the trial said. Afterwards, all the members of the jury stood.

The Judge stated, "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury thank you for acting as jurors in this matter. Both society and the law benefit from your contribution. In return, I hope you have found it to be an interesting and rewarding experience. Yuri, your sentencing will be held now."

Another attorney-in-law stood up in the platform, holding a paper as she announced the verdict, "Wherefore, premises considered, the accused, Yuri Goo, is found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the offence of first-degree attempted murder of Mr. Siwon Goo and is sentenced to an imprisonment of eight years and one day of imprisonment as the prosecution has proved the culpability of the accused."

The judge slammed his hammer thrice. The clerk then announced, "This court stands adjourned. Order in the court." Everyone else stood up as the judge exited the room.

I looked over Hara and guilt was visible on her face. She immediately looked away from me and tears were now obvious on her eyes. Shin Mong, on the other hand, was smirking back at me in triumph.

I was then taken away by the jail guards and escorted me back to the prison.

I feel... so lifeless. I never thought Hara will do that to me. Witnessing against me for a crime she knows enough I never did...

That knife was too far from me. I mean, it was on the door. She saw me inside holding my dad. Then, suddenly, the police also claimed I have fingerprints over that thing when I didn't even touch it?

Not to mention, that Shin Mong even showed on the trial what was my motive which resulted to unanimous decision of the jury finding me guilty. Well, who wouldn't? He proven I was a complete stranger to the Goos and that I brainwashed the old guy for asking him to transfer all of his wealth and company to me. Not only that, he also testified that I killed the old man because he was transferring me to Shanghai against my will. *Sigh*. It's so obvious I was so ing framed by the Goos.

And you know, for some reason, I felt like the trial earlier was too biased. The attorney they assigned to defend me was not even that good.

"Now, what's with the frown, kid?" Sir Vincent asked as I came inside our cell. Apparently, Sir Vincent and Tao are playing chess on the dining table.

I sat lifelessly on the couch.

"What happened, hyung?" Tao asked. "How was the trial?"

I sighed, "I was found guilty, of course."

He stood up and went near me. "I'm sorry, hyung... So, what's your sentence?"

"Eight years imprisonment."

"Wow. That's too long..."

"Yeah... I will forever rot in this place."

"Oh come on, kid, you will not rot in here." Sir Vincent butted as he went near us. "Look at me. My sentence is life imprisonment and yet, for more than four years, I'm still alive, kicking, AND not rotting."

"Yeah, cheer up, hyung." Tao added. "My sentence was extended to three more years. If you want, I can just go kidnap someone else again then, we'll be together until the end of your sentence! Isn't that great?"

"Your sister will surely get mad at me if she finds out I'm the reason you wanted yourself imprisoned again. What's great with that?"

"As if Tiffany-noona will ever dare to get mad at you. She's too freaking crazy for you, okay."

"Tiffany, you say?" Sir Vincent asked him.
