Should I tell my mom?

Should I tell my friends?

Should I tell my son?

Yuri...  Tell me... What should I do...?

It's the 16th of November, exactly a month passed since I found out I'm pregnant. And until now, no one knows about it except Yoong and me. We decided to tell my parents before the wedding but then, lots of circumstances happened like my dad was out of the country,  then my mom, then they're both busy at work… We actually couldn't have the perfect timing when to tell or even how to tell them. So then, we're still trying to figure what we should really do.

Meanwhile, today is Choi family's visitation to our home for Sooyoung's official asking for my hand in marriage from my parents. You know, the typical tradition.

I wore a slightly loose and knee length light pink dress. It is for me to hide my tummy. It's not really that big and obvious yet but, it's just for me to be sure they will not notice anything unusual.

"You look beautiful, umma." Sunkyu said as he stared at me at the mirror looking a little astonished while sitting on the bed.

"Thanks, sweetie."

"I want a girlfriend that looks like you..." he mumbled dreamily.

I went near him and I kissed him on the forehead. "I'm sorry, sweetie but, I don't think there's another girl out there that looks like me." I then chuckled, "Well, except for halmunee, I guess?"

"Yeah, too bad... I may find someone prettier then but..."

"But what?"

"I doubt there is someone prettier than you."

I smiled, "You are really cheesy, just like your dad."

He then looked down sadly, "You and appa much look good together than you and Sooyoung-hyung..."

I knelt down. "Sweetie, I thought we already talked about this?"

"Yeah, I know. It's just that..."

"Cheer up, okay. I'm just getting married. It's not the end of the world."

"But it's the end for you and appa."

"..."

*knock-knock-knock*

"Come in!" I shouted.

My butler, Eustice, came in then said, "You have a visitor, Ms. Stephanie."

"Who was it?"

"It's Sir Im Yoong."

"Okay. Tell him, I'll be right over."

"Yes, Miss." He bowed then left.

Sunkyu then asked me, "Why are you meeting Yoong-hyung too much lately?"

"Well uhh-- we're friends, of course."

"Weird. You're not hanging out with your other friends and just him alone."

I faked a laugh, "Who told you that?"

"Hyoyeon-noona, Sunny-noona, and Sooyoung-hyung. I even saw him sneaking out on your room a week ago too for the third time. I mean, why is he sneaking if there's nothing weird going on? It just so much indicates you two are really hiding something, you know."

Damn it. What should I tell this smart kid?

"Now, you're speechless. Are you hiding something, umma? What are you and Yoong-hyung seeing privately for?"

"I-it's nothing, sweetie."

I then left the room. Yet, he followed eagerly.  "Are you now dating Yoong-hyung?!" he asked angrily.

"Wh-what? No. No. You got it all wrong, sweetie."

"Then, why?! Why are you not telling me?!"

I leaned to his level. "It's nothing."

He crossed his arms. "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Then, I'm gonna ask him myself." He then rushed downstairs.

"Sunkyu!"

As I got to the stairs, I saw Sunkyu stopped walking halfway. It seemed he had noticed my mother interrogating Yoong with her arm crossed. Seriously, she never actually stopped on antagonizing Yoong. *Sigh* I don't know why she hates him so much...

"What are you doing here again, young man?" she asked in pretty much villainous voice.

"G-good morning, Ms. Elizabeth. I-- I came here to uhh--"

"May I remind you, Mr. Im, my daughter's getting married in three weeks’ time. If you have plans to--"

"No, no, no! That's not why I am here. You got it all wrong, ma'am." he said in defense as he waved his hands forward frantically.

"Then, I don't see a point why you're seeing my daughter every day and always asking her out."

"W-We were just hanging out during those times, Ms. Elizabeth. Please understand. I don't have any bad intentions to your daughter."

"Whether you have bad intentions or not, I don't want you hanging out with my daughter! How many times do I have to tell you that, huh?!" she shouted angrily.

Wow. My mom sure is becoming more overprotective of me as time goes by. This is... really, really touching. *sniff-sniff*

Nevertheless, I have to stop her on antagonizing Yoong. The guy has done no wrong.

"Mom." I called as I went down the stairs. She and Yoong looked at me with the latter looking amused as he saw me which was too obvious due to his jaw dropped a little low.

Mom then redirected back to him, "Go home now, young man."

"Ms. Elizabeth, please give me at least a little while to talk to your daughter. I promise it will not take long."

I finally went near them. I gripped on Yoong's forearm. "We're just gonna talk, mom. Please excuse us."

"Stephanie."

"Mom. I got this."

I grabbed Yoong's hand and took him out to the entrance yard. "What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you not to come today? The Chois are gonna be in here."

"I know but..." Then, he just stared at me as of looking astounded.

"Yah. Yoong. What's wrong with you?"

"N-Nothing. You just look so..."

"Look so???"

"Beautiful."

I felt my cheeks flushed. "Th-thanks."

He then brushed my bangs with his fingers. "Your future husband sure is lucky to have you as his wife."

"Silly... So, why are you here, anyway?"

"It's uhhmm... I just wanna tell you that uhh..." He scratched his nape. "It was too sudden..."

"What? What is it?"

"I'm being... ordered by my father to accompany him."

"Oh." I looked at him in confusion. "But, I don't see the point why you're telling me that."

"He wants me to go with him to the U.S. tomorrow and..."

"..."

"My dad said there's no definite date when we will come back. He just guaranteed we will take too long there."

"Wh-what?"

"Noona, I'm sorry it was too sudden. I couldn't get to refu--"

"You're gonna leave me?" I felt my eyes tear up. "You-- y-you told me you're gonna be here with me. That, you're never gonna leave me."

"I know but, noona, trust me. I tried my best to refuse to him--"

He tried to hold my hands yet, I swatted him away. "You told me you're gonna help me stop my engagement, Yoong! Now, what's this?! Y-you Y-you're just gonna leave me alone?!"

He cupped my face. "Noona, I will still find a way, okay. I will help you out."

"How will you do that, you'll be ing in the U.S.!"

"I will escape from my dad. Trust me on this."

"..."

"Noona, please."

"..."

"I will be back. I promise."
