Tiffany POV

"I'm home." Yuri shouted from the front door.

"Welcome home, Yuri-yah."

"So, are you already okay?"

"Yeah. I guess..."

He came near and sat beside me on the couch. He looked a little tipsy though. "Where were you guys been?" I asked.

"Just in a bar down town. And Sooyoung's now back, by the way."

"Really? Are you guys in uhhh... in good terms now?"

"Sort of... but we're always in good terms, you know. It's just a little awkward sometimes."

"I see..." I redirected my gaze towards the television. I don't even know how to react at all when it's about their friendship. I just feel too guilty about it.

"Don't think too much."

"Huh?"

"You're thinking too much about it. It's not your fault we became like this, okay."

I looked at him in disbelief. "Seriously, did you learn that mind reading skill from Jessica?"

"No." he said and chuckled. "You are just too obvious, Fany-yah. Anyone can totally read your mind."

"Well... I just couldn't help but think I'm the one who ruined everything between the two of you."

"Tiffany. Tiffany. Tiffany." He cupped my face with his both hands and looked at me straight in the eyes. "Stop blaming yourself. It's not your fault."

"But--"

"Okay, okay. It's partly your fault because..." he kissed my forehead, "You are breathtakingly beautiful," then on the tip of my nose, "Totally adorable..." lastly on my chin, "and you are everything one man could dream of on a woman."

"Shut up. You're just saying that."

"What? It's true. Look at me." he pointed his index fingers to himself groggily, "I dreamed of a stupid and weird girl and I got you. Don't you know, your kind is what us guys wanted in our lives?"

"Yah!" I slapped him hard on his chest. "One minute, you're going to be cheesy. Then on another, you're going to tease me."

"Oh come on... I just love you so much, that's why." he started to pour me kisses all over my face.

"Yuri, how could your love be related on that?"

"What? My love for you is connected to everything!"

"Fine." I gazed back at the television again. Yet, I still feel his stares on me. I looked back at him and he has been gazing at me endearingly. He then reached for my bangs and brushed them. "I still cannot believe you are right here with me... all mine. All along you were just living in my dreams." he said.

With that, I felt my cheeks burned. He really knows how to make my heart flutter. He's too cheesy and I can't keep but to drown myself in happiness every time. It maybe because I know he's sincere on all the things he says to me. I can totally feel his love even with just a simple look from him.

"Believe it, Mister Yuri. I'm real and..." I cupped his face. "I'm yours."

He smiled then captured my lips. He parted them with his tongue and had me felt its warmth. He started to explore my mouth slowly. I was about to be lost on his kiss when suddenly I noticed something. I then broke off our kiss. "Did you drink heavy?"

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"So you did drink heavy?"

"Nope. Do I smell like one?"

"Who knows if you used your portable toothbrush or whatever. Did you drink heavy or not?"

"Nah uh uh. Do I look tipsy to you?"

"Yes."

"I walked home without harm and I even talk to you normally now, see."

"Yes, I know that. You're physically okay but your mind isn't. No wonder you're babbling things."

"I'm not. My love for you isn't just babbling."

"Whatever."

He pulled me into his embrace and started to pour me kisses on my neck and shoulders. He's too much tempting me now but I will not allow myself to fall for this trick. It's only days left and I'll win the bet. I better off control my hormones. So, I just decided to watch the television again.

A few minutes later, a news flash came out. I noticed the picture shown beside the newscaster looked familiar to me.

*"A young man charged with kidnapping and attempted murder of a Se Kyung University student has been captured after eluding officers for several weeks.

The Seoul Police announced that 17-year-old Hwang Zi Tao was caught while authorities were investigating a residential burglary call. He is currently jailed in Anseong Prison under the surveillance of Military General Seo himself."*

"No way..."

"What no way?" Yuri asked, still continuously showering me kisses. I tried to break away from him. "Why was Tao got charged and not Seohyun?"

He finally stopped then laid his back on the couch, scratching his head as if looking confused. "I don't know either. The police said immediately after we rescued you that we were ought to stay away from the investigation and they will handle the case by themselves…"

"But Tao isn't the one who kidnapped me..."

"He's one of the kidnappers, Tiffany."

"Yes but he's a good guy, I swear."

"Tiffany..."

"Let's help him out, Yuri. Please."

"We can't do something anymore. The Military General himself is the one behind this. He will do anything just to make his daughter out of the case."

"There's got to be a way for this... Come on." I stood up and tried to pull him up.

"Where are we going?"

"Just come with me."

"Can we do it tomorrow, please?"

"Why?"

"It's a little late and... I feel a little tipsy?"

"So you finally admit you drank heavy?"

He then looked down, "Yeah... I just lied 'cus I know you will get mad."

"Fine." I guess I have no choice or else I'll just end up pacifying a drunk guy by this night at the road. "Tomorrow, first thing in the morning, okay?"

"Aye aye."

*Morning-the-next-day*

After riding a bus, Yuri and I finally arrived at Incheon Mental Institute. We headed straight at the admission hall and I asked one of the personnel, "Excuse me, we would like to visit Ms. Seo Joo Hyun."

"Okay, ma'am. Let me just check where her room is..."

"Let's just go. I'll ask Yoong to talk to her instead." Yuri whispered.

"No. We will just make Jessica
