Double update continuation ;)

Taeyeon and I quickly headed to the club where Jessica was. As soon as we got to the entrance of the place, Taeyeon rushed inside without even having a thought he had a company. Who? Me.

Look at this guy... looking too much in worriment. It's like as if he's the boyfriend of hers or something. Tsk. Tsk. Don't tell me, he's still hoping for Jessica to come back to him?

Anyway, as expected, Jessica was looking too much drunk and wasted. She was lying on the floor near the comfort room and was only being attended by several waiters. "Don't touch me! I can walk on my own!" she shouted as she shoved away the waiters.

"Jessica." Taeyeon immediately went closer and assisted her.

"Taengoo! Haha! There you are!" she quickly hugged him in return which was a pretty much groggy way.

"I told you not to get yourself drunk without me, didn't I?"

*Sigh*. Great. Now, it's time to watch a crazy chick flick drama.

She rested her head on his shoulder with her eyes closed. "But, I don't want to bother you."

He sighed, "You're never a bother to me."

She smiled then hugged the former tight, "Awwww~ You're so sweet."

"Alright, alright. Let's take you home then." he redirected. "Can you walk?"

"Yeah, yeah. I can." She broke away from their hug then started to walk. Unfortunately, with just two steps alone, she stumbled on the ground. Apparently, she passed out.

Hmm. I will definitely ask what did she drink. For so long, I've been wanting to get drunk as hell as she did, you know.

He sighed again then attempted to carry her. I intruded, "No, let me carry her."

He looked at me with his eyebrows furrowing. Then, he nodded in defeat.

Yes, call me a er or whatever. I just have enough of this cheesy moments for the night. And of course, with Taeyeon's built, I don't think he can carry her easily.

We headed for Jessica's apartment. "Can I ask, why are you doing this?" I uttered.

Taeyeon looked at me in disbelief, "Why are you asking such thing?" He tucked Jessica on her bed.

"Come on. You have to admit it yourself. You and Jessica ended already. There's no more possibility, man."

"Why? Don't I have the right to love her even with this way? I don't care anymore whether she's gonna love me back again or not."

"Wow. Aren't you such a martyr? Or don't tell me you're just saying that and will just be selfish again in the end?"

"I've already realized the mistake I've done. There's no need for you to add salt on my wound." He then redirected, "You may leave now if you want."

I shook my head, "No, I want to stay here. Probably spend the night too." Well, just in case he'll do something weird.

He sighed, "Fine, you can sleep on the couch."

"Uhuh. And where will you sleep?"

He looked at me in annoyance. "On the other couch."

I grinned, "That's good. At least, we're clear on that." At least, I'm a little assured I won't be witnessing any weirdness tonight.

Well... Except now.

Throughout the night, Jessica kept on murmuring Yoong's name. And even with that, Taeyeon continued to hold her hand as he sat beside her bed. Awkward, isn't it? This guy sure is an idiot.

Yet, what really did mark in my mind is when she opened her eyes a bit and noticed him.

"Taeyeon-ah..."

He held her hand tighter and answered, "Yes?"

She closed her eyes again. "Why did you have to change?"

"..."

"Why did you change so easily?"

"..."

"If you didn't... I wouldn't have suffered this way..."

"I wouldn't have loved him..."

"That sure like a spear struck on your heart, huh?" I uttered as we walked out of Jessica's room.

He sighed loudly and sat down on the smaller couch. "I don't think it will be that way, anyway."

"What do you mean?"

"Even if i didn't change and we'll still be together at the time she met him. I doubt if it will be the same for us." He rested his back on the couch and closed his eyes. "She loves him more than she loved me. In the end, it will always end up like this."

And that's when I wondered... does destiny really works that way? No matter how much you try to change it, the result will just be the same? Is that really how it is?

So, even if I admitted to Hyoyeon my feelings for her, she will still leave me?

It was already 8am when I woke up. And immediately, I saw Taeyeon holding a tray of food and was heading towards Jessica's room.

Pfft. So much of an idiot.

"You'll definitely do the same thing for Hyoyeon, ." he responded then went inside Jessica's room.

I followed him to her room and immediately greeted, "Good morning, Jessica."

Her eyes widened as soon as she glanced at me. "S-Sooyoung-- why--? Is Y---?"

"No, he's not with me." I went inside.

"Oops. I forgot your water." Taeyeon snapped then went out of the room.
