Yoong POV

"Yoong, are you okay?" Tiffany-noona snapped me out. She went near and placed her hand on my shoulder. "Is something wrong?"

I faked a chuckle, "Nothing, nothing."

She smiled, "That look on your face doesn't look nothing to me though."

I faked a sigh. "Fine. I just remembered something. But, let's just shrug it off."

"Hmm. If you say so..." she said and went back to exploring the warehouse.

I continued to search for the necklace for few minutes. But, I quitted in the end. I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong that I stored it here. There's really a slight possibility that somebody took it.

Slight? Yeah, just slight. I checked on the warehouse's padlock and I didn't see any sign of damage for possibility of force-opening.

Never mind. I'll let this slip for a while.

I redirected back to Fany-noona. She's currently sitting down on their old couch while still wandering her eyes around as if reminiscing memories. "Are you gonna pick up some things from here?" I asked.

She shook her head and answered as she smiles, "Nah. I think it’s better for these things to be left here."

I went closer "Are you sure?"

She looked at me, "Yes." She then stood in front of me and held my hand. "Thank you. Thank you so much for bringing me here." she uttered and flashed me her warmest smile. And finally, I've witnessed her beautiful eye smiles again.

Beautiful. Really beautiful.

And from that moment, I felt like the World was in slow motion. I felt my heart flutter. I felt... happy.

And subconsciously, I reached for the back of her head, I pulled her towards me and kissed her forehead. It was for long as we cherished the moment.

"What was that for?" she said softly as she stuttered a little.

"Nothing." I answered and smiled.

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "You know, you're getting too suspicious more and more."

I chuckled in return, "It was nothing. It's just..." I closed my eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. "It's just that I'm happy."

"So, is that a new hobby of yours? Whenever you are happy you're gonna kiss somebody else's forehead?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

She giggled. "Alright. Whatever. Let's go."

"Are you sure you don't really want to get something from here?"

She shook her head. "Nah, I don't think keeping something from our past is a good thing for me to move on." We started to walk out for the parking lot.

"Does it still... hurt?" I asked.

"His absence? Yes, of course."

"Like hurt as in... like before?"

She smiled faintly, "Probably, it eased down a little now."

"That's good to hear."

"And I want to thank you for that. You're one of the reasons why."

"Hmm... Ever have thoughts on dating again?"

She then looked at me quizzically, "So, this is what it is all about, huh?"

I just chuckled in return.

"Real talk, Yoong. Are you trying to hit on me again?"

I looked away in a playful manner, "Maybe?"

"Yoong." She stopped from walking and so did I. "You are my friend. Actually, one of my best friends. Please don’t make this more complicated for us. Besides, I'm not ready to fall in love with someone else yet... or perhaps... I never will..."

I returned a smile, "I know, I know. I was just messing with you. But... just in case you'll change your mind, you know, I'll still be here waiting."

She sighed loudly and smiled back, "You are really pushy, aren't you?"

"I am not. I just have this belief that if anyone else besides Yuri-hyung that deserves to love you, it should be me. You deserve the best in this world, you know." I said and winked.

She chuckled, "Wow. So full of yourself, huh?"

"Just stating a fact, love."

She punched me on the chest playfully, "Stop it. Let's just go home. Sunkyu might be looking for us already."

For the few days passed, I did nothing but busied myself on coming over to the Hwangs. I pretty much have no other choice anyway as Sooyoung wasn't even around for me to hang out with. For some unknown reason, he started to be missing-in-action. Well... probably, the news about Hyoyeon's whereabouts bothered him a lot. Knowing that guy... definitely, he's just sulking somewhere.

Anyways, for this afternoon, I decided to visit the Hwang manor again. But, this time, I wanted to visit little Sunkyu. Yeah, ever since the concert last week, he has been avoiding me and sometimes even goes berserk and assaults me whenever I come over. He kept on saying I am that evil dark lord he hated the most, that, I am the bad guy who did nasty things on Yuri-hyung, and that... I am the culprit for his death.

Well... he's somewhat right on the last part, but, what puzzles me is, why did he think I was the evil dark lord from back then? I mean, if it was because of my emo make-up from the last concert, it would perhaps be impossible. I never sported that kind of look back then, I swear.

As I arrived at the manor, Tiffany-noona was there at the front yard and immediately noticed my presence. She skipped her way towards the gate and opened it for me. "Good aftie, Yoong!" she greeted in pretty much lively way.

"Good afternoon. Aren’t you a little happier than usual?"

She giggled, "I am always happy." Suddenly, she paused and thought of what she just said. "I mean... I was always happy. So, nowadays, I'm beginning to bring back the old me."

I gave her a warm smile and patted her head, "I'm glad to hear that."

"So, what made you visit here, anyway?"

"Actually, I just want to have a chat with Sunkyu. I wanna try out my luck on wooing him."

"Err-- I don't think that's a good idea. He's seriously mad at you, you know."

I sighed, "I really don't understand kids. How on Earth did he mistaken me as that infamous Dark Lord?"

"Well, have you forgotten you did horrible things to Yuri back then like... ALMOST killing him?"

"The gun incident? I am definitely sure Sunkyu wasn't there."

"Hmm." She rubbed her chin. "Then, perhaps, this has something to do with Yu---"
