Our one-week vacation in North Dakota really turned out to be just one week. *Sigh*. I thought I'll get to be successful from convincing Yuri to extend our trip but, he wouldn't budge at all. He was really eager for us to return. Else, he'll really be scolded by my dad. Nonetheless, here we are, enjoying a very ordinary day again back in Seoul, most particularly here in Sunny Day Cafe. It's already the 3rd of October, 2017. Until now, the Choi family hasn't come back from their out-of-the-country trip for the newlywed's honeymoon. They brought their daughter along and spent the little girl's birthday during the time too.

"This day sure is lousy." I snapped and sighed loudly.

"This is really the lousiest day ever."

"Arrgh-- Aren't you gonna say something, Hyomin?"

She looked at boringly. "How do you want me to respond?"

I sighed in defeat and rolled my eyes at her. I redirected to my new staff. "How about you, Hayoung?"

Throughout the whole time, all she did was to stare at me as if studying me intently. "what do you really want from me, evil boss?"

"Yah! At least, have some respect for me!"

"I just did. I said 'boss', didn't I?"

"At least remove the evil word!"

"Alright. As you wish, BOSS." she responded sarcastically.

"Seriously, aren't you two gonna start a topic or something?"

Hayoung snapped, "Aren't we supposed to be in the office right now?"

"Do you wanna work?"

"Yes! That's exactly the reason why I accepted this job, you know!"

"Seriously? You're the only employee that I ever heard who wanted to work instead of taking a break."

"Yah, ma'am!" Hyomin shouted. "I do want to work too, you know!"

I shouted back, "And, I don't!"

"Then, don't drag us too!" they both shouted.

Hayoung added, "If you want to slouch and be lazy for the day then, don't bother us!"

"Wow." I applauded. "Wow. This is the only favor I asked for the both of you and this is what you return to me?"

"You keep on asking us favors!" they both shouted again.

"Those weren't favors! They were orders! This is just a favor now!"

"Fine." Hyomin sighed loudly. "Why are we here, anyway? aren't you supposed to hang out with your friendly friends instead?"

I sighed loudly, "Sunny's out of the country with my brother for his installation of his artificial legs. I bet they'll stay there for a long time since he has to get used to wearing them first. My best friend Jessica, on the other hand, was out of the country with her 'boyfriend' too. She said she was jealous because Sunny, Hyoyoen and I were flying abroad last week. And yeah, it's supposed to be just a one-week vacation yet, Yoong agreed to extend their stay in Australia for two more weeks. Oh. and Hyoyeon? Isn't it obvious she's on her honeymoon?"

"Oh. I see. So we're you're back-up hang out-mates, huh?"Hyomin nodded and smug at me.

"Duh! Of course, I need back up!" I held both of their forearms. "And you both, my loyal subordinates, are the lucky ones to be my sub-team." I smiled widely. "You two should be proud."

"How are you even sure I'm loyal to you?" Hayoung asked back while looking irritated. "I am only loyal to my lover boy, okay."

"Yah!" I slapped her forearm and she winced in pain. "Don't call my husband loverboy, you pesky woman! do you want me to ban you from working anywhere too, huh?!"

"See?! You are really evil! Yet, you wanted me to drop that word on how I call you?! Huh, evil boss?!"

"Yah." I sighed loudly."At least treat me nice so I won't blackmail you next time."

"You know... Now, I can really establish in my mind of how much weird you are. You hired me, the one who assassinated your image. Then, you wanted to hang out with me now too?"

"What's wrong with that?"

"Everything!"

Hyomin snapped, "Look, ma'am. Hayoung's right. You know how much I wore my 'what-the-actual- expression as soon as I saw her in the office? And when she said you hired her, I almost fell off my seat. You are too freaking weird."

"My mom took her job away from her. What do you want me to do?"

"Nothing!"

"And that will be so much of an evil thing." I sighed again. "Look. Why don't we just spend our day here peacefully and without scrutinizing my actions? I am your boss, you should at least give me the benefit of the doubt."

"Will you give me a salary increase if I do?" Hyomin asked back.

"Err--- I don't know... maybe?"

Then, her mood suddenly became cheerful. "Oh, my gosh, girl firend~! We're so much gonna have fun for today!"

Surprisingly, Hayoung became cheerful as well, "Gosh you are so much of an Angel boss, Miss Hwang! I'm so lucky you're my boss. you're the best boss everrrr~"

*Sigh*. Now, I feel hopeless.

For freaking seriously, why no one in my best friends is here?

Hyomin then asked, "So, anyway, boss, since your best friends are out somewhere, you should have asked Mister Kwon to accompany you today, though."

"Are you guys in a fight?" Hayoung asked too.

"We're not in a fight. He's just busy with work today since we just got back from our vacation trip."

"Tsk. Tsk. you just got back together and he started to get busy with work? now, that sure is a bad sign." Hayoung said and took a sip from her cup of coffee. "That's the start of the death of your relationship."

"What?" I looked at her in disbelief, "What the actual freaking hell of a fish is your problem, Hayoung?"

"What? I was just doing my job as your sub girl friend. I'm sure anyone of your main girl friends will tell you the same thing."

"Hmmm. Yeah. Those trolls... probably, all of them will say the same thing. Anyway, how about you two? You can share me what's going on with your love lives."

"Well..." Hyomin giggled. "I'm dating someone now and he's oh so familiar to you."

"Oh~ who?"

"Mister Kwon's assistant."

"Ooooohhh~ the delivery guy?!"

"Yip."

"Gosh, he's a cute one!"

"Yes!" She giggled.

"But, wasn't he too young for you, though?"

Then, she looked at me boringly, "Yah. Ma'am."

"What? I'm sure he's just the same age as Tao. And you're even older than Sunny. Gosh."

"Just shut up, ma'am! In love, age doesn't matter, okay!"

"Oh. Alright. Whatever." I redirected to Hayoung. "How about you? Do you have any person of interest now?"

She blushed and smiled cheekily. "Yes."

"Ooooh~ Who?"

"I don't know if you knew him." She giggled. "His name's George Nicholas Kwon. Sometimes, he's called Yuri."

"Aisssh! Stop spazzing about my husband! He's off-limits, you pesky woman!"

"Then, freaking don't bother me!" She stood up and slammed her hands on the table. "Your secretary right here freaking assigned so many tasks to me and my deadline's by tomorrow! So, freaking hell, I want to work, okay1 I'm heading back to the office now, you evil boss!" And she stomped her way out of the cafe.

I looked at my secretary, "Was she telling the truth? you bombard her with so much workload?"

"Yip. she's too much heck of an annoying girl, you know. And, I was just avenging you on her."

I held her hand and squeezed it. I smiled at her gently. "You are the best secretary ever."

She giggled, "Yeah, I know~!"

"Now, let's go shopping."

"Ehh? Didn't you already shop so many things when you were in the US last week?"

"Yup. But, the products here are different. Come along."

"For freaking seriously?!" Hyomin reacted as soon as we got out of the cab and now in front of the mall. "We're freaking gonna shop here?! in HS Shopping Mall?! This is your freaking subsidiary, Miss Hwang!"

"Hey! Love your own, okay!"

"You are really--- Aisshh-- I don't really know if I should continue to hang out with you. I might catch your weirdo virus if I will."

"Stop whining. Let's just go. My hands are itching to spend already."

"You're gonna spend here, and it'll be back in your pocket again since you freaking own this place. Like, seriously, what is your problem?"

"That's my point. I spend and I earn a profit at the same time. See? It pacified my hobby in breakeven."

"Alright. I won't pry in your decisions anymore. But, I'm just telling you, I don't have money, okay."

"Oh. You don't have to worry about that. Tell me anything you want, it's free."

Suddenly, she locked her arms with mine. "Oh, let's go, girl friend!"

We firstly stormed the women's wardrobe section. Hyomin freaking bought lots of things as in hell seriously. You might be wondering why I'm this generous on her. Well... she's always been so loyal to me. She's even more than loyal that, she acts on her own just to protect me too. That's why I've always been thankful to her.so, she deserves this special treat now.

And yeah, I'm bored so I have to spend money.

As we stormed the grocery section (yes, she freaking wants me to buy her groceries too), I received a call from my beloved husband.

"Yes, Yuwreeeyulk?" I answered.

"Hello, Panypaannggg~"

"Why did my hubby call?"

"Oh. I just missed you a lot, wifey."

"Awww~ I missed you too."

"Where are you, by the way?"

I chuckled, "As if you don't know where I am. I know you've been tracking me, silly."

He chuckled too, "Yeah, you got me there."

I looked around to search for him. soon, our eyes met. It had me smiled heartwarmingly. He was standing at the far end, the beverage section of the supermarket. We both walked towards each other to meet halfway.

We stopped with just a few feet gap between us. His hands were both behind him. He seemed to be hiding something from me. "Hi." he greeted while smiling gently.
