First of double update! My early Christmas gift to you guys! :D

Another week has passed. The young me is attending a funeral with his family. Apparently, the wife of Uncle Siwon Goo has died last month because of an incurable disease. The wake started just last week, however. It was highly unusual, though, for a funeral service to take this long enough before it commenced. Uncle happen to love his wife too much to decide to mourn for her loss for too long on his own firstly. That is not really what is the young me should be bothered about, though. Until now, he's still occupied of his girlfriend's condition.

Henry arrived late for the funeral. It was only him. Ms. Elizabeth nor Tiffany was nowhere to be found. Yuri then decided to approach the man to ask for her condition. Yet, he was halted by his father. "You better not..." he said.

"Appa, I want to know if Stephanie's okay."

"Not this time."

"But, appa!"

"You know he's still mad after what happened, Yuri. You better distance yourself from him for now."

"I have to know if she's okay! That all I wanted to hear!"

"Enough! Stop making a commotion here."

Mom then butted in, "I will talk to him." Dad just sighed in defeat.

Yuri then smiled faintly at her, "Thank you, umma."

After the funeral ceremony, Mom decided to approach Henry. They had a conversation for a moment. Throughout the whole time, though, he looked sullen. He does respond to her, yes, but still wearing the same dark expression on his face. After their talk, Henry looked a little calmer than before. He then bid goodbye to Uncle Siwon first then left the area.

Mom headed back to us. She snapped, "Stephanie's currently in the hospital. Jaejoong said we can pay a visit."

Dad looked at her in disbelief, "He agreed?"

"Yes. It's the right thing to do. Stephanie's condition is getting worse, anyway. I convinced him that maybe, her seeing Yuri will somehow help her condition get better."

"Thanks, umma." he said. Although, there's still a tone of sadness in his voice. Obviously, he's still blaming himself on what's going on with Tiffany.

The family's about to leave the place. They approached Uncle Siwon and informed him that they will be heading for the hospital to see Stephanie. He politely asked the couple to send his regards to her and Ms. Elizabeth. Yet, as they were about to leave the area. Yuri happened to take a glance over his uncle for the last time.

It was yet a chilling moment. Uncle Siwon was staring back at him murderously. His stare was full of hatred and contempt. Yuri suddenly felt nervous and uneasy. He glanced over his parents as if having thoughts on telling them what he just earned from his Uncle. Yet, in the end, he decided not to. Maybe... maybe it was all just in his mind.

The Kwons arrived to the hospital where Tiffany is currently confined. Henry was just there staying at the hallway in front of his daughter's room. He looked calm now compared to how he was at the funeral earlier.

"Go ahead. Come inside." Henry uttered, yet, still didn't bother to glance over anyone of them.

"Thank you." Mom said.

The three headed inside. Tiffany was there sleeping soundly on her hospital bed. On the other hand, her mother, Ms. Elizabeth, was there sitting on the chair beside her bed. She was staring over her daughter like she's in so much pain. Obviously enough, however, that she was trying to pull herself together.

Yet, as soon as she noticed her best friend has arrived, she could no longer control herself. She cried as she uttered her best friend's name. "Boa... I don't know what should I do... I..." she sobbed harder. Mom attended to her quickly and tried to calm her down. She was like hyperventilating.

"Elise, calm down. Stephanie's going to be fine." Mom reassured her.

"No... No... She's getting worse What if... what if Jaejoong will find out too...? What if...? I'm scared. I'm too scared." she cried as she buried her face on Mom's chest.

"What Jae should find out, Elise? Tell me."

"Boa... I don't know what to do..." She gazed at her best friend's eyes. She was pleading so much for Mom's help.

Mom returned an apologetic smile. "You better clam down. You might wake your daughter up. I'm sure you don't want her to see you like this."

"I tried. I keep on trying to calm down, Boa. I can't take it anymore. I don't know what to do..."

Mom thought they needed privacy to discuss the matter. I think that's what Ms. Elizabeth would need to calm her senses down. "Come on. Let's get you some fresh air outside to make you feel relaxed." Mom said and helped Ms. Elise stood up. Dad tried to help out too but then, it's like as if Ms. Elise had denied his offer for help.

Mom held her best friend on her shoulders as she guided the latter out of the room. Henry had noticed the tears from his wife's eyes. He happened to stand up, still looking dumbfounded, and asked Mom. "Boa, what happened?" He then approached his wife. "Elise, is something wrong? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Ms. Elise avoided her husband's gaze and just buried her face on Mom's neck as she sobbed. Mom just smiled apologetically over Henry. The two best friends walked out of the hall and headed for the lounge's balcony.

Henry tried to follow the two, yet, Dad went near him and stopped him. The former looked at his older brother. "Hyung, what's going on? What happened to Elise?"

"Just calm down. It's probably just because of Stephanie being hospitalized right now."

Dad looked at the young me and smiled faintly. He then closed the confinement room's door. Its like as if he wanted to give him and Tiffany some privacy.

Yuri went near Tiffany. He held her hand and gripped it tight. With that gesture, Tiffany was awakened. "Sorry I woke you up..." he uttered.

She smiled faintly, "Yuri-yah..."

He sat down on the free chair and just continued to stare at her hand. Tiffany then sat up. She was trying to find words to say to him. Guilt was obvious on her face. It's probably because of the things she told him before they parted last week. So, then, after a few moments, she finally snapped, "I'm sorry. I told you hurtful things the last time. I didn't mean them, I swear. I was just... mad."

"Nah. It's okay. I was really being an idiot that time."

"Yeah..."

"..."

"But... just so you know... I still love you."

He looked at her and finally, a smiled formed on his lips. He then stood up and went near. He caressed her hair as he uttered, "And I love you so much too."

She smiled. She touched his cheek and caressed it gently. "I missed you, Yuri-yah."

"Me too. You don't know how much."

"I'm happy finally daddy allowed me to see you again."

"How did you convince him?" He held her hand again. "Don't tell me you're being stubborn again?"

"Yah. I just did my best. I just seriously pleaded on him."

"But, are you taking good care of yourself, huh?"

She pouted, "I am, of course. I really want to be with you, you know. So, I have to be strong." She then looked away. "But then, my body wouldn't cooperate though."

"I'm sorry. It's all my fault you're like that."

"I don't know why you like to say sorry all the time. Tell me, are you the only one making decisions for us?"

"..."

"We're partners, okay? Besides, what's done is done." She then gripped his hand. "All we have to do now is convince them, right? They should accept our relationship fully this time. I'm sure they will, though. I'm sure they will. They have no choice."

"You... Do you think they don't...?"

She then looked away. Thoughts have consumed her mind. She then merely stared at nothingness. Sadness was obvious on her face.

"Whatever happens..." he snapped. "I will always do everything for us to be together. This is just temporary. When you're finally okay, I'll come and get you again."

"We're gonna run away again?"

"Well... that is if yours and my parents will still not accept our relationship."

He was allowed to stay with her for another hour. They both happened to just talk about some updates on what's going on with them and their families. Yoong happened to pay a visit on her days ago before she was hospitalized and informed her boyfriend of the possible encounter with his best friend. She said Yoong seemed to be enraged and now determined to confront him because of what happened.

Yet, moments later, when they're already too occupied to their conversation, they heard Henry shouted from the outside of the room. "WHAT?!"

Tiffany tried to get out of her hospital bed. Yet, Yuri halted her. "No, stay here. I'll go take a look." She nodded in defeat.

He went to take a peak from the door. Henry looked so frustrated as he was engaging a conversation with his wife. Mom and Dad were also there. They both looked shocked too, though.

Henry groaned in frustration as he messed his hair frantically. Ms. Elizabeth was still sobbing hard. She tried to talk him out again, like, she's trying to help him out on accepting the situation. The former looked too much bothered and frustrated though. It's like he couldn't engage in any conversation for this moment.

Mom then noticed her son. She then went near and whispered, "We'll be going home now, Yuri."

He then nodded sadly, "Okay, umma. I'll just say goodbye to her." He redirected to Tiffany. "Umma said we'll be going now."

"When are you gonna visit again?" Tiffany asked.

"I don't know... I'll try tomorrow."

She smiled. "Okay. I'll wait for you no matter how long."

He chuckled, "Silly. Stop stressing yourself from waiting." He went near and kissed her check. "Just focus on recovering, okay?"

"Okay."

She then closed the gap of their faces and they shared a kiss. Afterwards, Yuri bid goodbye and headed out of the room. He glanced over Tiffany's parents. Mom bid goodbye on the two. Ms. Elise just nodded at her in the end. Tiffany's parents both seemed to be consumed on their own thoughts though.

Mom then held Yuri's hand as they walked out. They were ahead of Dad from walking, though, that, Yuri happened to notice the disappointment from his father's eyes.

None of them spoke throughout their ride home, most especially Dad. Mom was just crying silently at the front seat. Yet, all the same, Yuri avoided their gazes and just looked down guiltily.

"Kid." I snapped. "At least give me a clue here. What the hell is going on?"
