Tiffany POV

"That business partner of yours was an ?" Sunny asked to Hyoyeon. "How could he be an ? Can you elaborate please?"

Hyoyeon sighed loudly and looked as if agitated, "Well, that freaking tried to hit on me too." Then, her voice somewhat raised as she continued on her story, "Three months after we met that time, he tried to lure me to his place. Well, I was being a good friend so I agreed. But, then, I never actually thought he'll ever try to hit on me as in freaking seriously! Gosh. I almost got victimized! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh--"

"What?!" Sooyoung suddenly shouted. He happened to just arrived from getting food at the buffet table when he heard Hyoyeon's last statement. "He slept with you?!"

"He did not! Aisshh-- Didn't you just hear what I said? Almost. ALMOST!"

He almost smashed his plate that is full of food on the table. Good thing, it didn't break though. Then, he grabbed his girlfriend's upper-arms to make her face him. "How almost, huh?! Why didn't you tell me that?!"

"Well--- That's because you're gonna react the same as now." She swatted his hands away. "Gee, Sooyoung. It's not a big deal, okay. Besides, it was already three years ago."

"ing ! How many secrets of yours are you gonna hide from me?!"

"It's not a big deal! It's no freaking big deal! Nothing happened between me and that guy, okay! You think I'll ever try to cheat on you?!"

"You ing didn't tell me you met up with that Sara Shin again. Then, you freaking didn't tell me the identity of that . Now, you just told our friends you almost hooked up with him and not tell me first?!"

"Because they're not really big deals!"

"Oh yeah? What's big deal for you then, huh? What did you eat for breakfast? What shoes you'll be wearing?! Those are the only things you share with me!" He stood up. "You know what?! I never really felt I am already part of your life! Ever since we started dating, you freaking always set me aside!"

Hyoyeon's about to tear up. She stood up too and tried to console him. "It's not like that, Soo--"

"You wanted a long distance relationship, I gave it to you. But, at least, try open up to me! But no, you never did! You always shove me away! You always make me feel like I'm not your boyfriend!" He kicked his chair to get it out of his way as he stormed out.

Hyoyeon eagerly followed him, "Sooyoung, please!" She successfully grabbed his arm and made him face her. "I really wanted to tell you. You don't know how much it kills me not to! I swear, I'm not hiding anything bad or something that could affect our relationship, Soo. Please. Please." She started to cry.

"Then, freaking tell me now! TELL ME!"

She paused and hesitated. She took a deep breath first then closed her eyes.

"Is it really that hard for you to tell me who that ing is?!"

"It's..."

"Who?!"

"…"

"The , are you not or are you gonna tell me?!"

"IT'S TAEYEON!!!"

Sooyoung wore a mix of horrified and shocked expression on his face. Well, not only him, though. We all had the same reaction. How could... Taeyeon? Really???

Sooyoung tried to calm himself down. He breathed deeply as he glared over Hyoyeon. She, on the other hand, was just looking back at her boyfriend guiltily. Afterwards, he closed his eyes for a bit then stared back to her. "So... that freaking midget tried to hit on you?"

"Y-yeah..." she said while fidgeting her fingers as she looks away from him. "Th-that's because he didn't know we're already dating that time. We never told anyone of our relationship, remember?"

Sooyoung gritted his teeth. It looks like he's already at the edge of his temper. Then, he went near our table. He picked up the plate of food he just stocked up from the buffet table. He went back to Hyoyeon, "I want you to tell me everything as in EVERYTHING alone. ME FIRST! Follow me!" He headed for the farthest table of the restaurant, probably around twenty tables away from our place. Still looking guilty, Hyoyeon sighed in defeat and just followed her boyfriend.

After they've gone farther, I quickly nudged Yoong, "Hey. Was it really Taeyeon?"

He looked at me in disbelief, "How on Earth will I know? We both just heard that from her now."

I rolled my eyes, "No. I mean, do you think it's really Taeyeon or she's just mistaken?"

He looked up at the ceiling and tried to decipher my question. It seemed he's still ridiculed by it. Then he looked at me, still disbelievingly, "How Hyoyeon-noona could be mistaken? She's the only one who knows the identity of that '' businessman."

"Well." I sighed loudly and focused back on my food. "Fine. I know my questions do not make sense. It's just that it's sooooooo unbelievable."

"Yes... It's so ing unbelievable." Now he looked so serious. It's like he's mad or something. He just continued to eat his food. Well, more like devouring. It's probably due to the rage he's feeling right now.

"Yah!" Sunny suddenly shouted. "Can't you two give Taeyeon a break? What if...? Just freaking a 'what if'... Hyoyeon's actually telling the truth? We should always expect the worst. See? Not anyone of us guessed the mystery instant billionaire was actually Hyoyeon, you know. Maybe her '' business partner is actually, really, Taeyeon."

I responded, "Sunny-yah, it's not like I'm insulting Taeyeon or anything, but, among the four of them, he's the one who's not into business. He loves his uhhmm engineering stuff so much. How could he possess such great skill in expanding business and trading? Yes, he can exercise his degree in trying to lower expenditures in constructing infrastructures, but, don't tell me he's that knowledgeable in marketing aspect too?"

Yoong then seconded, "Exactly. Among the four of us, he's the only one who never wanted to own a merchandising, manufacturing, or even service-oriented business. He said he'll pretty much just enjoy employment life AND the only service-oriented business he's gonna have, if ever, will be a professional partnership specializing the engineering discipline he took."

Sunny sighed loudly. "Fine. Yes. It's unbelievable. But, come on, wasn't Hyoyeon like him too?"

Yoong then answered, "Yes, but she's mainly just an investor now. Technically, Dream Sky Casino is being solely managed by that so-called '' businessman."

She scoffed, "? Pfft. You mean, TAEYEON! You do know enough he has a name."

"Yeah. But, that's the only thing believable on the situation, though. He's an ."

"Aisshh-- anyone can run a casino, Yoong!"

"Casino is not the only business of SKY. They freaking invaded the airline industry, super-malls, construction, banking, recording label, and even cosmetics lines." He looked at me. "La fleur, that number one competitor of your mom's cosmetics line, is also under SKY Incorporation." He then gazed at Sunny. "So, basically, Sunny-noona, no matter how you look at it, someone has to be capable enough to run and expand SKY that greatly."

Sunny just returned a loud sigh in defeat. Then, he focused back on his food. He continued, "Now, there are rumors SKY is also planning to expand its market here in land transportation, hotel, real estates and resort lines which all, apparently, are HGC's primary business lines. Imagine the horror it will be on HGC's profitability if they will ever try to invade those markets."

Sunny looked at him in awe. Then, she redirected to me, "Who exactly is the CEO of HGC between the both of you again?"

I quickly complained, "Yah! I admit, okay. I'm not really into expanding the 'Hwang' empire. If ever I'll get a chance, I'm gonna start my own little company from scratch." I sighed loudly. "But, yeah, right. Yoong should be the one managing HGC and not me. I think I'm just a display there, actually."

Yoong rebutted, "I'm on Sales Division, Fany-yah. Of course, I should be more knowledgeable on the marketing side, most particularly the present and potential competitors. The job of a CEO is just oversight on the sales and operations of the business, steer the strategic direction of the company."

"So, basically, you're saying my only job is to agree and agree, approve everyone else's proposals, most especially from you?"

"Yes, because that's what CEOs do." He then frowned, looking more enraged, "But, that '' businessman's an exception. He may have good line of marketing or expansion division but, he's the one managing everything hands-on. He's a very clever one too according to the rumors." He shook his head. "Now, with his identity revealed as Taeyeon-hyung, no, it’s definitely unbelievable. I'm still ninety-nine percent in doubt."

Sunny sighed loudly again, "Fine. I get your point. I totally get your point. You two finally makes sense, yes. But---" She looked at him. "What the hell's with that frown, huh?! Are you still grudging over him? I thought you already moved on from Jessica?"

"It's not that."

"Then what?! You're always freaking so biased when it comes to Taeyeon! Yeah, I know I'm not in the position to get mad, but, Taeyeon's still my ex-boyfriend, okay!"

Yoong suddenly enraged and shouted at her, "I'm not freaking mad at him for having a successful business career or for ruining my relationship with Jessica back then! I'm freaking mad on how on Earth he ended up getting everything that Sara Shin owns?! As far as I can remember, Sooyoung told me that he tattled to Taeyeon about that woman's involvement with Seohyun and possibly on Yuri-hyung's death! How could he end up on that woman's lair?! Have he forgotten those just because he wanted to get rich?!"

I tried to calm him down. "Yoong, relax, okay. Sara Shin just knows Seohyun. It's not like because they know each other, she's already involved with Yuri's death."

"She freaking knows you too!"

"That's because Seohyun knows me too! Who knows... maybe, they just talked about me once. Besides, we don't really know if Seohyun's involved with his death."

He groaned then mumbled a curse.

I continued, "Please, stop stressing yourself with the events from the past. Yuri's already dead. It's not like finding out what really happened or knowing if it's the fault of a certain someone will get his life back. We already talked about this, right?"

He just ignored me and became even more sullen. He then stood up. "I'm done eating. I'll just wait for you at the parking lot." and he stormed out of the room even before I could respond to him.

"You know what I see here?" Sunny suddenly snapped and successfully caught my attention. "Yoong's still blaming himself for everything that happened to his hyung."

I sighed, "I've already told him thousand times that it was not his fault."

"You can never stop him from thinking that way. He connived with Seohyun for helping Yuri on his prison escape four years ago. Unfortunately, that escape happened to end his hyung's life and almost destroyed yours too."

"But, it was never his intention."

"Yes, it wasn't. But, still, look at the events that happened afterwards. Seohyun never showed up nor contacted him. If she really had a good intention back then, she should have shown herself up on Yuri's funeral too. See? He felt used. He decided to connive with that woman for thinking she can really help Yuri out, but, he was wrong."

"Maybe, she doesn't have the guts to show her face in front of him or not see Yuri's burial because she's feeling guilty or sad or something."

"Tiffany..."

"..."

"Why are you so kind...?"

"..."

She sighed, "You know, THAT is definitely one thing really unacceptable about you. Even if you are obviously getting hurt, getting stomped at by everyone around you, you still see the goodness in them. Why? Really? Are you really that naive or something? Are you somewhat a masochist?"

"No one's born evil, Sunny."

"I know that. But, even if evil is a sense of thinking that is just acquired after a person is born, you can't still deny the fact that they did something evil to YOU, to YOUR LIFE, and to EVERYONE YOU LOVE."

"What do you want me to do? Hold grudge over someone who I don't know if she's really involved? What's the point anyway?"

"Yeah, okay. You have a point. But, how about your father? He threatened Yuri in front you. He tortured Yuri in front of you. Yet, what did you do after? Nothing. You just freaking accepted what he did."

"He's still my father."

"But he destroyed Yuri!"

"What should I do then?! Loathe my father?! Grudge against him?! Kill him?! Yes, I do hate him! But, but... but, I know it's never his intention. He's just trying to be a father to m---"

She stood up, "You're not making any sense!"

I stood up too, "You're not making any sense too! How could you end up becoming a psychologist?! You're trying to brainwash me on getting mad at everyone! How can that help me live a good life, Sunny?! What are you really trying to point out on me?!"

Sooyoung suddenly interfered, "Hey, what's going on here?" Hyoyeon was there behind him too. He continued, "Seriously, we just talked for a moment there and now you guys are having a riot here?"

I uttered, "Clearly, Sunny here is not making any sense."

"Your goodness. Your righteousness." Sunny stated in antipathy. "Your way of thinking... You're the one who's not making any sense, Stephanie Hwang. I think you are really insane."

Hyoyeon snapped in, "Yah, Sunny-yah. Stop this, will you?"

She looked at Hyo. "Well, if she wants to continue on her idealistic beliefs, she should better not drive us all to insanity too."

"What do you want me to do, Sunny? Just ing tell me straight." I responded in annoyance.

She looked at me, "I want you to wake up. At least, try to knock some sense into your head." She redirected to Hyoyeon and Sooyoung. "I think I better go. Thanks for the meal, Hyoyeon. See ya some other time." They shared a hug.

"Err- okay. I'll just message you for our next uhhm-- gathering. You know, Hyoyoung's going to arrive in few weeks’ time."

They broke away, "Oh yes, about your daughter... so, you purposely made her arrive here late?"

"Yup. You know, I want my daughter to still live a private life and also, to avoid any possible kidnap-for-ransom scheme to be plotted against her."

Sunny chuckled, "Alright. See yah. You too, Sooyoung. Hope you guys already made up for good."  She looked at me. "Bye, Tiffany. I hope by the time we meet again, you're already having a sane mind." She then walked out of the room.

"See? She doesn't make any sense at all." I snapped.

"Well..." Hyoyeon uttered. "You better just try to understand her situation, Tiffany. I talked to her last night and she told me how much she was frustrated on how are you acting up for the past four years."

"What's wrong with the way I handle my own life issues? Tell me, Hyoyeon, huh?"

"Yeah, I tried to comprehend what she really was pointing out but, just think of it this way. Sunny took psychology and clearly you're the void in her perspective. You're totally not acting the way normal people do that's why she thinks you're insane. But, hey, I'm not exactly saying you're wrong, though."

"Uhuh. What will you do if you're on my shoes then?"

"Hypothetically, if my father blatantly admits to me that he killed Sooyoung, I'll definitely get my revenge. If I can kill him, I would, but, I'd rather let justice deal with him."

"He's still your father."

"But, it's not like I'll be tolerating him on his dirty works just because he's my father."

"..."

"Tell me, Tiffany. What are you thinking? Are you hoping your father will come to his senses someday and turn himself to the police on his own?
