Yuri POV

Two days has passed, Sunkyu and I finally went out of the hospital. We didn't come back to our previous Condominium Unit and decided to move to my dad's home instead as, of course, dad insisted us to. Actually, I didn't really consider to live here as according to Yoong, Tiffany had this place under surveillance for months already. But now... I don't know what I'm doing anymore. Her mother already warned me not to see her again but, here I am, as if trying to make her find me.

"Sir Yuri, you have a visitor." Mr. Ginger, the household's chief butler, said as he came to my study room.

"Who is it?"

"It's Miss Krystal Jung."

"Please let her in."

"Right away, Sir." He bowed. Afterwards, he escorted Krystal inside then left us.

"Hey there." I greeted.

"Hey." she greeted back and smiled.

"Please, have a seat."

"Thanks." She sat on the free chair in front of my desk. "So, how have you been?"

"I'm feeling better now. Though, I'm still house arrested by my dad saying I'm still not allowed to go the office with a face like this."

She chuckled, "Even with bruises, you will still be the most handsome man in that place so, what with his worriment?"

"Are you hitting on me, Ms. Krystal Jung?" I teased.

"Mmmm... maybe?" she teased back and smirked.

I chuckled, "Well, I say that's a nice pick-up line, a little classic. Anyway, what makes you come here? Is it about Sunkyu's home-school enrollment for this coming school-year?"

"Nah, there's no problem with his enrollment. It's just that..."

"You're not his teacher anymore?"

"Err-- yeah..." she answered and looked away.

"Sunkyu told me about it. He was disappointed too."

"If it's okay to you uhmm..." She gazed at me shyly, "Can I still come visit here?"

"Of course, you're our friend. Besides, Sunkyu will be happy for that."

"Oh... so, only Sunkyu, huh?" she asked back in a disappointed face.

"I will be happy too since, you know, Sunkyu's happy."

She faked a chuckle, "Yes, of course."

"Anyway, so, what is it that you really came here for?"

"Well... I just want to ask you out for lunch."

"Err... actually, my dad really did insist for me not to go out of this house."

"Oh..."

"But, you can join us for lunch here. Hope you don't mind."

She smiled in relief, "Okay."

*Lunchtime-at-Goo-residence*

"Sunkyu start eating. Don't just stare on your food." I snapped. Yet, like how he always been since we started to live in this house, he's in a down state and just ignores me completely.

"Sunkyu."

Krystal then snapped, "What's wrong, dear?"

He sighed loudly, "I miss my umma. And also..." Then, he glared at me and quickly looked away. "Someone broke his promise to me on getting umma back. So, I'm also disappointed... too disappointed!"

"Sunkyu." I called again.

"Hmph."

"I will get her back. It's just that... not this time."

"Yeah, right. Probably, when that time comes, we're all already dead, killed by evil halapoji."

"Sunkyu, enough. Do you think this is easy for me too?"

"..."

"Just go finish your food, please."

He sighed loudly again then called our butler, "Mr. Ginger?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Can you take my lunch up in my room? I don't feel like eating here..." Before I could even react, he rushed out of the dining room. Mr. Ginger bowed at us as he took Sunkyu's food then headed out.

*Sigh*. I think I'm gonna have a headache due to that kid.

"He will get used to this soon. Give him a week." Krystal assured.

"I doubt that. Whenever it's about his mom, there's no expiration date for his tantrums."

"Stop frowning or you'll age faster."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Shut up. Stop mocking me."

I chuckled, "Okay, ma'am."

She chuckled then redirected the topic, "Anyway, I actually have another reason why I'm here."

"What is it?"

Her bright expression turned to a slight frown, "I want to ask you something about my sister."

"What about Jessica?"

"Is she always like that?"

"What do you mean?"

"In an extremely down state, dull expression, and prefers not to talk most of the time?"

"Well, uhmm-- if you're talking about her personality when I first met her until she had her amnesia a year ago then, yes?"

She looked at me in confusion, "She had an amnesia?"

"Oh. You didn't know?"

She looked away and stared at her food, "The thing is... for the past three years, Jessica and I didn't really have even a single conversation. The last time we talked was even about me blaming her for everything that happened... particularly on our mom's death."

"So you did not... until you met her the last time at my condo unit?"

She sighed, "Yes..."

"I see..."

"..."

"Anyway, don't worry about her. Jessica's always like that. But, when she started to date Yoong last year, she's turning back to normal little by little since then."

"So, you're saying right now, she is even in a better state than before?"

Hmmmm. That question's a little tricky. "Uhhmm--- how is she doing nowadays again?"  I asked.

"Well, I already described to you how she looked but... there's actually something more..."

"More?"

"Hate. Darkness." She looked at me. "Do you get my point?"

Hate...? Darkness...? Isn't that a normal thing with Jessica?

"Well, if you ask me... that's perfectly normal on her. Darkness, that's her thing."

Her eyebrows furrowed and went back to staring at her food, "I see..."

"But, don't worry. I'll try to talk to her to check if there's really something up."

She looked back at me and smiled in relief, "Thanks."

*20th-of-September *

Another day has passed and finally, my Dad allowed me to go out of the house but still, I'm not allowed at work due to my bruises. He said it might cause rumors to spread about him having a troublesome heir. Of course, I know he only meant it as a joke.

Anyway, currently, I'm wandering around a nearby mall to buy stuff. I needed to buy a new game console for Sunkyu. Though, I hope this will work on him to finally stop on his tantrum. Furthermore, I'm meeting up Yoong here too. I haven't had a conversation with that guy since I was confined in the hospital.

"Hyung!" Yoong shouted in a gleeful manner as he waved his hand. He rushed towards me and gave me a full embrace.

I quickly swatted him away, "Yah, what's with you?"

"Nothing. I just want to hug you."

"You know, you really sounded so gay with that line."

"Oh come on. Can't Bros share a hug?"

"Article 42 of the Bro code, 'Upon greeting another Bro, a Bro may engage in a high five, fist bump, or a Bro hug, but NEVER a full embrace'. Have you forgotten that, Yoong?"

"I'm sorry, okay. It's just that... I couldn't contain my happiness." He sighed and looked up dreamily. "I am so happy~"

"Why?"

"Jessica and I had last night for eight rounds. EIGHT ROUNDS, hyung!"

"Err-- okay???"

"Not to mention, we also had for another two rounds this morning. TWO ROUNDS, hyung! That's a total of TEN rounds in a 12-hour period!"

Hmmm... Krystal's intuition was wrong then. Jessica seems perfectly normal.

"Wow. That's uhh... great. I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks, hyung." He then said dreamily again, "I wonder how many rounds we'll have for tonight. I can't wait!~"

"Why, is there an occasion?"

"Come on, hyung. Do we always need occasion for twenty rounds of to happen?"

I chuckled, "So, you're assuming it will be twenty, huh?"
