Before anything else, let's have a recap on the characters (particularly the oldies. lol) already mentioned chapters ago:

Henry Hwang - Tiffany's father, formerly known as "Jaejoong" and later changed his preferred name for some unknown reason Elizabeth Hwang - Tiffany's mother, often called "Elise" Yunho Kwon - Yuri's father Boa Kwon - Yuri's mother, Siwon Goo's younger sister Vincent Jung - Jessica's father, the one that killed Taeyeon's father and blah blah (you know the rest of the story)

Tiffany POV

Hyoyeon, Sunny and I left the motel and headed to our own homes. I didn't bother to stop by anywhere since, I know, my father has something to do with Yuri's actions earlier in the video.

After thirty minutes, I finally arrived at the Hwang manor. As I went inside the living room, I saw my mom reading a magazine and drinking her tea.

"Mom." I called.

"What is it this time, Steph?" she asked back, still busily reading.

"Where's Dad?"

"He went out."

"Where did he go?"

She looked at me in a dull manner, "Do you think I know? And do you even think I care about where he goes?"

"Yes."

She redirected her focus on the magazine. She sighed loudly, "He said he went to his one construction site. He didn't tell me why though."

"That's it? That's what all he said?"

"Yeah, unfortunately." she mocked.

"Thanks for the info." I sighed in defeat and started to head for the stairs. Yet, she halted me, "Stephanie."

I stopped from walking and looked at her, "Yes?"

"Stop it."

"Huh?"

"Stop disobeying your father. You don't have any more choice in this World but to marry that son of Choi. Accept the truth."

I mocked a chuckle, "And now I wonder why you suddenly decided to give a damn about me."

She looked at me first as if studying my eyes. Then, she returned to her reading, "I'm just giving you an advice... based from experience."

"Wow. Thank you so much, MOM. That's a very, very much helpful advice." I redirected back to the stairs.

Yet, she snapped again and had me to stop from walking successfully, "Well... if you will still insist, don't you ever say I didn't warn you..."

I just ignored her and went upstairs to my room. Although, that moment earlier with her was a little touching for me. It's like one little proof she indeed cares about me.

I decided to take a shower. After I was done and walked out to my room, I just noticed the photo frame of side table was put down unusually. I took it.

This photo... this is the only one I have with my Yuri and Sunkyu. This was took during my birthday celebration last year. *Sigh*. Good old times... I wonder when I will ever experience those best of times again...

I placed the photo frame back to the top of the side table but suddenly, it fell on the floor. Its glass protection broke, showing cracks largely on Sunkyu and Yuri's part of the picture...

This... this may be a bad sign. Something might really have happened.

No... I must just be paranoid. These bad omens are not true.

But then, Yuri was crying earlier...

That's it.

I have to find them quickly.

I went out of my room. As I was climbing down the stairs, I heard my mom conversing to someone, "Where have you been, Jae?"

I quickly hid behind one pillar. Mom stood up and went to the entrance. My dad was there, looking so drunk and tipsy. He was just being assisted by his two bodyguards from walking.

"You can leave us alone now." he ordered his guards. The two complied and bowed at them before leaving.

"What did you do this time, Jae? Stephanie's looking for you."

He mocked, "This is a surprise. You're now concerned about my whereabouts?" Yeah, it sure is. Usually, mom's totally into her own world as in all the time and I'm sure enough you noticed that too.

She sighed then responded sullenly, "I just don't want the same thing to happen again. Knowing you, definitely, you've done something over-the-line again."

"Oh. My bad. I thought you're worried about me. It turned out you're more worried for that someone else instead."

"Jaejoong, please--"

He quickly placed his index finger in front of her lips. "How many times do you want me to tell you not to call me by that name, my love?"

"But it is your real name--"

"Elise..." He brushed his fingers on her hair. "Enough." Then, he tried to kiss her forehead but she hesitated. He then forcefully gabbed her forearm and kissed it. She was startled and horror seems to be a little visible on her face. It was also like she had remembered something from her past with my father's action.

She immediately withdrew her arm. Then, she redirected the topic, "Y-you h-haven't answered my q-question yet."

"Hmmm?"

"W-what did you do?"

"Oh. That..." He walked towards the couch tipsily and sat down. "Nothing unusual."

She followed but ensured a distance of few meters from him. "I'm not playing games with you, okay."

Dad smiled, "You know, Elise, you're getting more and more beautiful day by day."

"Jaejoong."

"You are really stubborn..." He stood up and went near mom. He slid his arm at her back pulled her to him. "You're making me fall in love with you much more." She tried to break away but his grip was strong. He continued, "So, do you wanna know what I just did?"

"..."

"I just killed your beloved Yunho."

"Wh-what?"

"I killed him." He grabbed her chin. "Now, there will be no one in this world any more that can take you away from me."

"What are you talking about? Yunho's dead for more than 10 years already."

"Dead?" He chuckled, "Didn't you just see him last night? Didn't you just spent a night with him in that ing cheap motel?!"

She winced a little from the pain of his grip. "I don't know what you're talking about-- Let me go--" she said as she struggled on breaking away from him.

He then dragged her to the couch and pinned her down with his hands on both her upper arms, gripping tight, "Tell me, am I really not good enough for you?!"

She opened a little as if trying to respond yet, it was unsuccessful due to his intimidating presence.

He continued, "Is he really that better than me, huh?!"

Fear is now obvious from her face. He leaned more towards her and kissed her lips. I saw a tear shed from her eyes.

And without a second thought, I came out from where I was hiding. He was about to open her blouse when I snapped, "Dad."

With that, I stopped him successfully. He withdrew his hands away from mom then stood up calmly. He turned around then gazed at me. The look on his eyes... no, it wasn't hatred. It was more of sorrow... extreme, deep s
