A/N: I'm supposed to update yesterday but AFF was sort of down... Anyways, here it goes. :))

Our search for Jessica continued with me and Hyoyeon heading to the Nothingness' practice place. I have a feeling she's hiding there.

"Can you believe it?!" Hyoyeon snapped after she was done talking to someone over her phone.

"What? What to believe?"

"I heard waiters from the other line when I was talking to Sooyoung. They're eating pizza!"

"So, err-- you're mad because they didn't invite you?"

"Kwon Yuri, what is going on with you?! Jessica is still missing, how could they still relax like this?"

"Alright, how about this... Tell me, did you just found out about Jessica missing? Because, I have to be honest with you, you're making such a real big deal out of this when you should have already done that three weeks ago."

"So, what are you trying to say? That I don't have the right to get mad at them?"

"Yes. Because on the first week Jessica was gone, Tiffany was the one totally hysterical about it and searched for her on her own. But what were you doing during those times? You didn't even help her out."

"Oh yeah?! How about you, Mr. Perfect? What did you do for this month passed? Did you even try to help her?"

"Oh, oh sure. I can search for Sica in Japan. Why didn't I think of that?"

"Fine. Guilty, here..."

I tapped her head. "It's okay, Hyoyeon. All I just want to tell you is to relax now. Jessica is fine, I'm sure."

She sighed in defeat, "Okay..."

We continued to walk and finally arrived that abandoned spooky building where we always practice. I knocked on the door and it was opened by our other band member, Amber.

"Hey, a mournful day, Amber." I greeted.

"A mournful day to you too."

"Is Jessica there?"

"Yes, she is..."

"Really?!" Hyoyeon and I shouted.

"Yes... But she doesn't want any visitors. At least, that's what she stated on us ever since she came here weeks ago."

"But, I'm not a visitor. I'm your band member too." I said.

"Right. You can come in."

"Can she come in too?" I pointed at Hyo.

"Alright, but only in this floor though… Jessica's on the third."

"Thanks." We both went inside. Amber, then, went back to our practice room.

I redirected to Hyo, "Okay, you wait here. I'll go talk to Jessica."

"You cannot leave me here." She gripped on my arm so tight.

I chuckled, "So now you're girly scared?"

"This place is like the place for spooky horror films. I'm..."

"You're???"

She looked down shyly, "Afraid."

Wow. I never realized that Hyoyeon can actually be a cute vulnerable girl too. You know, I kinda miss the lesbo-Hyo sometimes. She's so cool before. But yeah, this is somewhat amusing enough.

"You can stay in our practice room for the mean time, Hyo."

"But... But they're scary."

"They're not. Come. I'll introduce you to them." I led her to the room and there were Chansung and Amber practicing their instruments on their own. "Hey, guys." I greeted.

"Mournful day, Kwon." Chansung greeted.

"Mournful day too. By the way, this is Hyoyeon. Hyo, that's Chansung then Amber, you met her earlier."

"Good day, everyone." Hyoyeon greeted yet got no response from them.

I whispered, "You're not supposed to greet that way."

"Err- I mean a mournful day to you two." she corrected and the two just nodded in response.

"I'll be leaving her here for a while. I'll just go talk to Jessica upstairs."

"Okay." Chansung answered. "But can you get her out of here?"

"Huh? Why?"

"We're worried of her staying here. This place isn't as safe as it's supposed to, you know. What if thieves or even rapists came in her by night? Amber and I aren't always here too to guard her."

"Alright. I'll try my best."

"Thanks."

I left the three and also Tiffany's shopping bags then headed to the third floor. To be honest, this place still creeps me out. The squeaky staircase sounded like from horror films every time I take a step on it.

As I arrived, there was a room slightly opened. I came towards it and it seemed she has already noticed my presence. "Yuri." Jessica uttered while still seating sideward on the window's frame, looking outside.

"How did you know it was me?"

"That perfume you use... You're the only one who uses that in all of us."

"Wow. Good sense of smell..." I went near her. I noticed the large bruise on her ankle. It seems like it's still sore too. "What happened to your foot?"

"I tripped down..."

"We should get you to a hospital. Come on."

"No... Just leave me alone here."

"Jessica..."

She finally looked at me with those sad eyes. "I'm awful. I deserve to rot in here."

"No, you're not awful, okay."

She chuckled bitterly then looked away. "Yeah, right, I broke your best friend's heart. That didn't really make me an awful person."

"Technically, you broke two, Sica…"

Now, she became even gloomier. "Right, I broke two of your best friends’ hearts."

Damn it. Why did I even say that? I made it worse...

I sat on the other side of the frame. "That's inevitable for someone who's torn between two lovers so it's all okay. You're not awful."

"Thanks but... that doesn't really make my feeling any lesser..."

"You know... I thought you chose Taeyeon in the first place. So, the one you meant when we were on the car back then was you breaking Taeyeon's heart and not Yoong?"

"Yes..."

"I see..."

She chuckled bitterly again. "But it all went bad, anyway... I am left with no one."

"..."

"Selfishness can really back fire with such intense consequence..."

"Those two still loves you, you know. It's not like the feelings will go down the drains instantly after that incident. I mean... Taeyeon's out alone… Yoong's being a drunkard… It just means they're still not over you."

She looked outside the window. "I saw Taeyeon... He's going out with Sunny again. Actually, that's not only what I've seen. They're making out inside his car that one night and it looked to me they're about to do it there too..."

"Well... There's still Yoong?"

"You know, I went back to his place just three days ago to reconcile with him..."
