The World is not Big Enough to Play Hide-and-Seek
Romantic Street: A Detour To DestinyYuri POV
"Ha! Can you believe it?!"
"..."
"Hey. Yuri-ah, are you listening?"
"Huh? What?"
"I said she now has a friend. Can you believe it?!" Taeyeon said.
"Who?"
"Aiiishh. Jessica, the 'EMO' girl. For a cold-hearted human being like her, how did she have a cheerful and pretty friend?"
"What's wrong with that? C'mon. Why do you hate her so much?" I asked back.
"I don't hate her, okay. Her very existence just irks me."
Don't get him wrong. Tae is a real gentleman to girls but with an exception to Jessica Jung. He always gets annoyed just by seeing or hearing the name of that girl.
"Yeah right, that's basically the same thing. Anyway, who was her new friend again?"
"Tiffany Lee - the undeniably attractive new girl. And got a nice , I tell yah. She's a perfect package! You're in the same class as her in English 201. Don't tell me you didn't notice her?"
"Uh yeah. I don't remember someone like that in my class at all."
Who am I kidding?
Of course I do remember her. She's the very reason I could not sleep last night. She pops inside my mind like a mushroom and I don't wanna see her again in my dreams either. So here I am, trying my very best to forget her and also to get away from her.
"That's weird. There have been rumors around that you have a crush on her..." Yoong snapped. Seriously, why does he randomly pops out from nowhere all the time?
"I- I don't even know her, okay. How will that be possible?" I said defensively. With that, my lips betrayed me and formed a goofy grin.
"Oh mamamia. It's True?!?!?!" They both said with wide eyes.
"No. Enough of this, okay."
"Would it be possible she resembles that girl of your dreams?" Soo said and animatedly rubbed his chin. Damn. He got me there. And when did he got here in the first place anyway?
"Uhh..... Oh! It's 1PM already. It's time for the third period. Gotta go, buh bye!"
"But we still didn't have a professor for business law yet." Yoong retorted.
"I know but I gotta go now. Bye!"
Whew. Saved by the bell. I need to run away from them or else they will just bombard me with their hideous teases.
I decided to wander around the campus and find a place that no one will see me. I wanted to be alone and also to get away from those weird so-called fangirls of mine. I don't even know why I got fangirls in the first place. My feet got me in front of the school's abandoned building. There have been rumors that ghosts are living in this area so people usually do not come near here.
Finally, I can have my lone time away from all of them, especially from Tiffany. I bet she's totally afraid of spooky places too. Besides, I'm also curious if there are really ghosts in here.
The interior wasn't really that much scary as how they described. Spider webs, broken furniture, creaky wooden stairs, it's just looks like a typical venue for a horror movie. I went upstairs to the second floor. I almost wanted to run away when I heard a shower opened from the boys’ locker room.
"Pfft. I'm not afraid of ghosts... or even monsters. I can do this.
