I don’t even know how to react the moment I read and saw the plans for Big Bang’s fan date. I nearly ripped it in pieces for I’m totally against whatever is written on that -y paper.

“Who in hell approved this?” I asked in annoyance.

“Well…it’s the Vanity Fair team who is handling that date…so more or less…it’s Alfie” Daryl answered and all I want is to tell that jerk that he can’t pair my husband to that woman.

OK. That paper says that Jiyong’s date would be the Japanese teacher. I don’t know if this is just a mere coincidence or someone is really playing a joke on me. I mean, c’mon! I have issues with that girl and her son and up till now, I’m still so curious about their relationship with my husband (yes, I’m already doubting him).

“Where is Alfie?” I asked and Daryl sighed.

“Sis…just calm down…I mean…it’s just going to be a friendly date and there are so many eyes watching them…so we can be sure that our husbands won’t do anything stupid” she told me and I shook my head.

“I don’t know…I’m not good with that girl…and whenever I see her…I feel like she’s hiding something from me and…and…and…Jiyong…he acted weirdly after that girl arrived” I told her and she stared at me.

“Don’t tell me you’re doubting him” Daryl said and I nod.

“Oh gosh sis!” she looked at me and crossed her arms across her chest.

“You can’t blame me…we both know that I already have a trauma with girls liking Jiyong…..and we also know that my husband is not that good with temptations…and think about this…why is that kid keeps on calling him dad?” I asked and she just stared at me with a blank face.

Last night, my mind is just so full of what if’s. What if that girl and her son are really connected to my husband? What if that little boy is my husband’s kid to that girl?. Yes, I know that it’s really pathetic of me to even think of these things, but can you blame me? These are all possible and even how many times I brush it off my mind, it’ll just come back as long as I’m seeing that girl and her son.

“Sis…you know that kids who grew up with only one parent usually looks for a father or mother figure in others…that kid just tripped on your husband and I have a feeling that his mother is explaining the truth to him but he’s the one brushing it off…maybe he can really picture Jiyong as his dad” Daryl told me and I shook my head.

“But that’s wrong! If I’m in her place...I will clear things to my son and tell him that the man that he’s mistaking as his father is really not his but someone else’s….and she should be more sensitive for our kids have seen her child hugging and wanting attention from my husband…she should be ashamed of what her son is doing” I said, my anger building up.

I know that I sound so harsh, but I have a point, right? I mean, why would she let her son mistake a stranger as his father? She should tell him to know where to place himself even at a young age. Why? Because it’s not good to be calling someone else’s father as yours. Fine! I’m selfish, but only my kids can call Jiyong as their dad, for they really belongs to him.

“Do you really think it’s even possible for Jiyong to have a kid to another girl?” Daryl asked and that question left me speechless.

I’m gonna be honest here. Yes, I really think that’s possible. Why? Because he is a guy who can get any girl pregnant. I know that I’m thinking way too much once again and my being so paranoid and doubtful will just worsen things more.

“OK…here’s the thing….Alfie will be at the photo shoot later…talk to him and ask for a good reason as to why he picked that girl and you can also tell him to just replace her” Daryl said and I sighed.

“I don’t know what to do anymore! I don’t even know if I can still work!” I said and threw the folder that I was holding.

“Gosh! I’ll leave you for a while…OK? I’m just gonna let your head cool down for a bit and we’ll talk about work once you’re fine” she said and left my office.

Am I really being unreasonable and narrow minded already? I’m fine with the date plan for I’ve agreed with it, but now that my husband’s date will be that Japanese teacher, I don’t even know if I want this plan to push through. After all, I’m one of the people leading this project. I can just tell them that I want to change something and convince them to not push through the fan date anymore.

“Ma’am?” Cho hee peeked in my office and called.

“Yes?” I asked while rubbing my temples.

“The photo shoot will start now …you’re needed already” she answered and I just gave her a nod.

“uhmm Cho hee!” I called when she was about to leave my office already.

“Yes ma’am?” she asked.

“What time is Big Bang’s fan date?” I asked and she looked at her notes.

“mmm…it’ll be by six PM ma’am” she answered.

Oh gosh! WHY? Why do I have to have a different schedule? If only I know that this will happen, I should’ve just let Brady monitor the shoot today and be at the fan date.

“What time will this shoot end?” I asked.

“If everything works well ma’am…we’ll be ending by seven…but if something goes wrong…it’s going to be longer” she answered and I nod.

“OK” I said and sighed.

After that, I immediately went to the studio. We’re going to work with 2ne1 in this shoot. Five lucky fans will be having a makeover courtesy of the girls, they will style them and basically make them as their living Barbie dolls.

“Good Afternoon” Alfie greeted upon seeing me.

“Good Afternoon” I greeted back coldly.

“uhmm…Can I ask you something?” I asked and he looked at me.

“Anything!” he said with a huge smile on his face.

Maybe this jerk thinks that we’re already good once again.   What he doesn’t know is, I’m going to rant over his decision about making that Japanese teacher as my husband’s date later.

“uhmm…I just wanna ask about…Big Bang’s fan date later…uhmmm…Daryl already gave me the plan and I’ve got nothing against it…it’s just that…I want to know where and how did you get those two girls” I looked at him straight in the eyes and I can feel that he was a bit uncomfortable.

“I guess you’re aware that two of their fans have backed out the last minute” he started and I nod.

“So what we did was…we looked for two girls to fill in for them…thing is...there is no time for another screening so Brady suggested that we should just use two YG trainees to act like their date” she continued. “And I thought it was a good idea…since we don’t have time anymore and we’re rushing things already” he finished and I stared at him for a second and sighed.

As expected, my wonderful assistant editor has entered the scene once again and his suggestions are totally stupid. Yes, his idea is good but I really think that it can be counted as cheating for the plan is to get Big Bang fans as their dates and not trainees to fill them in.

“But one among those two girls is not a trainee…she’s their Japanese teacher” I told him and he checked the date plan once again.

“Aaa yes…why? Is there any problem?” Alfie asked and I took a deep breath.

“Nothing” I answered and he looked at me suspiciously.

“Don’t tell me you don’t want this date to push through…________....are you worried about your husband?” he asked, making me jerk up in shock.

“No! I’m not worried! I’m just….just...” I looked away from him to think “I’m just confirming things” I finished and he chuckled.

“You are confirming things or you’re checking if this date will be safe?” he asked suspiciously and I sighed.

“Whatever! Uhmm...I’ll leave now…I’ll check on 2ne1 first” I told him and walked away.

I know that I shouldn’t show Alfie that I’m worried about that fan date and my trust in Jiyong is a bit shaken, for he will just think that our relationship is not as strong as he thought it was.

To lessen my stress and worry, I drowned myself with work. I was able to juggle things by monitoring the shoot and approving articles at the same time. I was even able to meet my creative team to discuss about the upcoming anniversary issue of the magazine (superwoman mode: ON!).

“Sissy!” Railey called out cheerfully when she and Daryl walked in my office.

“ooohhh….you’re super busy” Daryl said and sat on the chair in front of my table.

“I need to keep myself busy” I told them and they chuckled.

“Don’t tell me you’re still worried about Jiyong and that girl” Railey said and I just stared at her.

“Oh ! I swear! I’ll pull that brain of yours out already” Daryl said, making Railey burst in laughter.

“Sis…how can I not worry when I’m being bugged by a lot of things and when I say a lot…I mean…A LOT” I said and the girls sighed.

“You know what? All you have to do is breathe and give your husband your one hundred percent trust” Daryl told me and I shook my head.

Actually, I trust Jiyong a hundred percent. Thing is, I don’t trust that girl and I’m so afraid of the things that she might do. Yeah. You can call me a freakin paranoid, an exaggerated and a very possessive wife.

“TRUST! That’s what you really need…sis…Jiyong is already yours…ALL YOURS…he has proven himself not only once but a million times already…you know so well that he cannot even replace you…fine! He plays once in a while…but that’s just normal…they are men…they love women…even if they have wives waiting for them at home” Railey told me.

“And sis…you’ve been together for THIRTEEN DAMN YEARS…that alone will prove…that you and him is not a joke…that you guys are strong…we have to accept that there are times where our husbands play and totally gives in to temptation…but what’s important is…they’re still going home every ni
