“You’re in…you can start tomorrow” the communication head reached out his hand and Anne shook it.

“Thank you sir…I will do my very best to reach your expectations” Anne said cheerfully.

A few days ago, a good friend of hers told her that there is a job opportunity in one of the biggest entertainment companies in Japan and with her contract ending in the local network that she’s working in, she didn’t even think twice and applied for the job.

The company is looking for an English-Japanese translator and it fits her perfectly. Anne has loved the English language ever since she was young and had learned it with all her heart, by the time that she stepped out of middle high, she already speaks, writes and reads English well. Of course, it’s an asset even if she’s not rich and she wasn’t even able to step in college.

Now, the company was offering her a once in a lifetime opportunity and that is to work in an entertainment company in Korea who is also a sister company of where she’s working. Just the thought of leaving her life in Japan even for a couple of months is already enough to make her go insane, what more live in a foreign country for years. Well, her boss told her that she can bring Yuri with her, which is good for she can’t leave her son in the care of her mother only. He even told her that she doesn’t have to think about where to live for they will be the ones paying for their lugging expenses and all she has to do is work. It’s a good offer and she knows that a little more convincing will make her consider the job already.

“What? YG Entertainment?” Xyra asked in shocked while counting the money in the till.

“Yes…apparently YGEX recommended me to be YG Entertainment’s translator slash English tutor for their trainees…shocking…right?” Anne said, making her bestfriend look at her in shock.

“But…that’s in Korea!” she said and Anne nods.

“It is…..I don’t know what to do now Xy…I’m literally torn” Anne said and sighed.

“Wait! Isn’t Big Bang’s company….YG Entertainment?” her bestfriend asked and she was once again reminded of her dream guy.

“Yes…it’s the company that manages them” she answered and Xyra shook her head.

“Don’t accept it” she said, making Anne curious.

“Why?” she asked.

“Because you’ll just be in a mess for you’re in one company with that G-dragon…I mean…just think of this…you’re going to work there…which means…there’s a lot of chances that your paths might cross and not only that…you’ll also see his wife there for she’s working in that company as well…you’ll get yourself into a major torture once you accept that job” Xyra explained.

One reason as to why she’s accepting the job is because she really wants to see G-dragon. Yes, she’s still in love with that guy and she can’t get over him yet for he’s really so ideal in her eyes. Anne knows that he’s married and will not even waste time on her, but seeing him even from afar will make her happy already. Actually, he doesn’t even have to talk to her and just the mere fact that she’s seeing him moving is enough.

“You’re really going crazy because of that dude…Anne! Wake up! He’s already taken…MARRIED…WITH KIDS…you have seen how he cares about his wife and you know so well that they fit each other perfectly…if I were you….don’t even give yourself hope that one day he’ll cheat on  her and you have a chance on him…coz the truth is…you don’t even have a bit of chance for I’m sure that he’d rather choose a model more than a waitress” Xyra said and her words are like daggers stabbed in her heart.

Actually, Xyra has a point there. Men like G-dragon who are so into beautiful, perfect girls will not even notice a waitress unless she’s so beautiful. Thing is, she’s not as beautiful as these stick like girls, fashion is really not for her as well coz she doesn’t even have money to buy a new outfit. First and foremost, why would he even cheat on his wife when she’s so beautiful and everything in her is already perfect?

“I’m sorry for loving him…I’m sorry if the man kisses me and I just hop on him like he’s the hottest new ride in Disneyland…I’m stupid for even thinking that there will be US someday…that he will bend and I’m going to replace his wife…I’m sorry if all I want is a perfect man that will not take me as a joke” Anne said with her tears falling down.

“Anne…I’m sorry…I know that I should’ve shut my mouth up” Xyra said while hugging her.

Honestly, there’s no need for Xyra to apologize for she’s right, her points makes sense and it’s an eye opener. It only made her realize that her fantasies and dreams is so far from possible and that she should stop dreaming that one day G-dragon would be hers for even in another world, it’s still impossible for them to be together. That guy is perfect, therefore, only perfect people have the right to end up with him.

“But you know what? That job will really change your life…I mean…it’ll pay you big…you don’t even need to work for eighteen hours a day…and you’ll earn triple of what your earning here” Xyra told her and she sighed.

Anne knows that her life will turn in full swing the moment she accepted the job being offered to her. Actually, she doesn’t even have to sweat just to earn a big amount for all she’ll do is translate and teach which is so easy. A year of working abroad is hard, but she’s so sure that it’s worth it.

“I don’t know…I’m sure Yuri will not like the idea of us moving in another country…all of the people he knows are here and it’ll be hard for him to cope up in Korea for the language isn’t even the same” Anne said when she remembered her son.

“You know what…that’s easy….explain every advantage to him…point out the things that will surely make him like the idea…but please…don’t use G-dragon’s name just to make him agree with you” Xyra said and she sighed.

Yuri is still so into G-dragon and he’ll always ask her when will his “father” show up again and even though she has explained to him for a million times already that G-dragon is not his father, in his mind, he still is and it looks like he will not even be shaken.

“Look…this is the most important moment in your life…this will make or break you….so commit to it” Xyra told her and she nods at her.

“I will look for love in that country as well” Anne joked, making Xyra sigh.

“You can look for love there…but don’t hit on married men…go with single ones…but you know…if you’re really looking for love….there’s always the mirror…the woman that you’ll see there…love her first” her bestfriend said, making her chuckle.

That night, all her mind can think of is that job and all its advantages and disadvantages. She knows that her lifestyle would change, their environment would surely change as well and the way of living there is so different. Yuri is now aware of the possibility of them leaving Japan and even though he looks a little hesitant at first, he soon give in and she’s so relieved for she doesn’t even have to explain the reasons on why they have to go to Korea.

“Jou-shi…I already made a decision” Anne told her boss the next day.

“Go on” he said.

She asked herself once again if she’s sure and when she felt that she is, she took a deep breath and said, “I’m accepting the job”
