"Did you pack everyting?" He asked for the fifth time already and you sighed while walking to the suitcase which was lying on the kitchen table. "I think so, and if you miss anything just call me and I'll come and bring it." You said before closing it and zipping it up. "Thanks ________-ah, what would I do without you?" You shrugged and crossed your arms over your chest. 
 

Today it was a month ago that the doctor had called him and today he would have the surgery. He wasn't even a little scared of it. "The worst thing that can happen is that it doesn't work out." He had said when you had asked him why he was this cool about it. You must say that he was right, that was the worst thing that coud happen. 

"You've been so quiet today, are you okay?" He walked up to you and placed his hands on your shoulders. You shrugged again, so this time he could feel it. He pouted, knowing that something was wrong. And he wasn't wrong, there was something that had been bothering you ever since he had anounced that he was going to have the surgery. You were actually really scared about it, not about the surgery itself but what would happen afterwards. 
 

It had been longer than a year since he had still seen you, what if he didn't like you anymore? "Tell me." He stated, not expecting any contradiction. You sighed and wrapped your arms around his middle, asking for a hug. "You love me right?" He blinked and anwsered your hug in surprise. "Of course I do!" You smiled up at him and nodded. "Then everything is alright."
