“Baekhyun! Baekhyun!” You yelled his name again and again until he would finally make his way over to the bathroom. When a few seconds later he bursted into the room he had a worried expression on his face as his eyes scanned the room until he had found you sitting on the closed toilet. He visibly calmed down when he noticed that you weren’t hurt like he had assumed after you had screamed for him like that. “My god babe, you scared me.” He said as he crouched down beside you and put one of his hands on your knees, a habit of his when he thought that you were upset. But the thing was that you weren’t upset at all, you were very happy and you wanted to tell him the new immediately. Though you tried to keep up your act, yo failed and eventually a smile started to break free on your face, making your husband frown at you. “Why are you looking at me like that? What did I do?” He asked, immediately assuming he had done something wrong though he surely hadn’t. 

“Oh, you did something…” You started and Baekhyun shifted in front of you, clearly not amused by you acting this mysterious. When you stayed silent for ever long and didn’t say anything he finally gave in and gave you his puppy eyes and pouty lips. “Tell me.” He whined and you couldn’t believe that a man could still be as cute on his age. But there was no need for you to use any words as you pulled your hidden hands from behind your back and held up the little shaft proudly. Baekhyun blinked as he saw what it was and took it from you, a small frown appearing on his face. “Babe, I thought we agreed we’d stop doing this.” He said as he studied the pregnancy test before meeting your eyes again, it was clear that he didn’t understand what this was about. “You’re not looking good enough. Doesn’t it look different to you?” You asked as you pushed it closer to his face, demanding him to take a better look but his face remained being filled with questions. 

You rolled your eyes and reminded yourself that Baekhyun had never been good at finding details. Slowly you patted your finger on the small screen in the middle of the test, telling him to focus on that instead. At first there was still no difference in his expression at all, but then he tilted his head to the left and he blinked his eyes a few times. When he spoke to you a few seconds later, his voice was only a whisper. “What do two stripes mean?” He asked, but you knew very well that he knew exactly what that meant, but that he was looking for confirmation. With a soft smile on your face you placed your finger underneath his chin and lifted it up, letting his eyes meet yours and you could read the hopeful look inside of them. “It means that the test is positive.” You said and at first it seemed deathly silent inside of the room, the only thing that you could hear was you and Baekhyun’s breathing. But then your husband jumped up from his spot, holding the positive pregnancy test high up in the air as he had an expression of wild happiness on his face. 

“We’re having a baby! After all this time we’re finally having a baby!” He shouted, his voice running over from joy and you could only get drifted away with it. You broke out into a laugh as Baekhyun started to dance around the small bathroom, skipping rounds before he finally reached you again, picked your hands and drew you off the toilet. “We’re having a baby!” He kept on singing as he twirled you around and threw you backwards in his arms, making you squeal as you held onto his shoulders for support. He looked down on you with a sparkly in his eyes and a bright smile on his face, holding you carefully and being sure not to drop you. “I can’t believe it. After trying for so long, having people telling us that we’d never be able to get pregnant… We’re finally having a baby.” You nodded with a happy hum and giggled when Baekhyun pressed millions of pecks all over your face, ending with your lips.
