“We should go to that new restaurant you told me about.” He said as he dragged your forward, your intertwined hand hanging loosely in between the two of you. It was so nice that he had finally been able to make some time for you again because it had been a long time since the two of you had been able to go out. Of course you were the understanding girlfriend of an idol and you knew that he was busy with his work, so you weren’t pushing him. But when he had called you to tell you that he was picking you up in an hour you hadn’t been able to hide your excitement. And now here you were, walking hand in hand past all the small restaurants as you tried to pick what you wanted to eat. “You know, actually I don’t care what we eat as long as I can be with you, so why don’t you pick?” He continued and you would feel yourself blush by his cheesy comment. He looked around at you to see your reaction and smirked when he saw your already red colored cheeks. 

After ten more minutes of discussing which restaurant you were going to, because it seemed like the choice of food mattered a bit more to him than he had said at first, you finally walked into a small and cosy restaurants and took place at a table for two. The waitress brought the both of you a menu and you leaned back in your chair as you enjoyed the candle light and the close appearance of your boyfriend, who was looking as handsome as always tonight. “I’m happy I could finally make some time for you tonight.” He said as he put down his card so he could reach out for your hand across of the table. You smiled at him and let his hand cover yours, feeling him his fingers played on your skin. “Me too, I really missed this.” You said and he shot you a sad smile and because you knew what was about to come you held up your free hand to stop him. “Don’t even start, you’ve already tried it before and it’s not going to work. I don’t want anyone else, screw it if they’d have more time for me. There’s only one man I want and he’s sitting in front of me right now.” 

Feeling a bit flustered about your confession he grabbed a hold of your hand and tried to focus on it so his cheeks wouldn’t turn red, though you could still see them blush. The two of you both made your order and as you waited you talked a bit about everything, feeling as if it had been forever since you had still been able to talk like this. He looked so relaxed and calm while talking his stories to you like that, a little twinkle inside of his eyes as he went on and on about how his day had been. You realized he liked it to let out his thoughts to you like this and that it helped him to leave everything behind him. When it was your turn to talk you told him everything you wanted him to know though in your eyes it wasn’t even slightly as interesting as his day had been. Still he never seemed as if your story was boring him and he nodded a few times to tell you that he was listening or smiled as you said something. “I guess she was a little angry because of that…” You finished off after you and told him about the drama that had been going on at your work today. 

Suddenly Baekhyun reached forward over the table a little bit, his look more serious than was fit for this conversation so you knew something was bothering him. You waited patiently while his finger traced the skin of your hand and saw him biting his lip as he looked back up at you from under his lashes, a slight blush spreading over his cheeks. “Do you want kids __________-ah?” He asked and you realized he had just left you dumbfounded on your side of the table. Out of all the things you thought he’d say this was the last thing you wouldn’t thought it would b and you blinked your eyes a few times before telling yourself to get yourself together. He was still staring at you, waiting for your answer as if he couldn’t see the way you had reacted right now. “Of course I do, why do you ask me that?” You asked and it was the truth. You had always wanted to start a little family of your own, and even more if that could be together with Baekhyun. But the both of you were still young so you had felt as if it might be too early to bring up the topic, but it seemed like Baekhyun didn’t think of it like that. 

He smirked at you when he heard your answer and leaned back in his chair, suddenly a lot more confident than he had been at first. “I want five of them, and an older brother so he can protect my little princesses.” He said and you couldn’t help but giggle at that, already imagining this in your head. You’d love to be a mother for Baekhyun’s kids and you really hoped that you two would be able to make this plan work some day. You were just about to say something and had already opened your mouth when suddenly the door bursted open with a loud crash, making all the people inside of the restaurant turn silent and look up in the direction of the sound. Your eyes widened when you saw two masked men standing in the doorway, both of them holding a gun in their hands. This was something you had seen on TV before so many times, but you never thought it could happen for real, and especially not to you. “Everybody lie down on the floor! NOW!” One of them screamed, his voice was hoarse and violent as he started to wave with his gun as if it was some toy. 

Fear got over you as you stiffened at your table and gripped the edge, making your fingers turn white as you stared at the guys with big eyes. Then you felt someone grabbing your arm and pulling you off of your chair and soon you were crouching down on the floor, Baekhyun sitting beside you as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pressed you against his side. You shivered as you grabbed his shirt and clung onto him, closing your eyes and telling you that this was all just a bad dream and that it would be over as soon as you’d just wake up. But when you opened your eyes again the men were still there and they were stealing money from an older couple who had been sitting closely to the door. This wasn’t something that was supposed to happen in the real world, who did something like this? When the men turned around again and slowly started to make their way towards your table you could hear your own breath fasten and your heart skip a beat out of fear. 

“Shhh, it’s going to be okay.” Baekhyun whispered into your ear as he held you even tighter, realizing how scared you were and rubbed your arm up and down with his hand. Even though this was a horrible situation you were still so happy that he was here with you right now, otherwise you probably would have gotten mad already. You tried to believe him and tell yourself that he was right and that nothing bad would happen, but your guts told you that something bad was about to happen and you always trusted your intuition. You pressed your head against Baekhyun’s chest and felt how he sat the both of you down on the floor, instead of crouching which asked too much energy from your legs and also wrapped his second arm around you, shielding you from the things that were happening and protecting you. You tried to focus on his heart beat instead, knowing that normally that was able to calm you down if you were upset. But this time his heart was also beating fast, it was pounding insanely hard against his ribs and you were afraid that it was going to burst out. He was just as scared as you were but he kept himself together, because he knew he had to for you, because he knew that if he’d freak out right now that you’d loose it.
