The rest of the concert you had kept yourself in the background, trying not to get the attention of others much more than was necessary. It wasn’t easy though, people were staring at you, giving you glances. How couldn’t they? After all you were the fiancee of Byun Baekhyun now, it was normal that people wanted to take a look at you from up close. Ever since you had been guided back towards your seat and you had been able to process everything that had happened your head had been spinning. It was so hard for you to understand all of it. His parents had been delighted and his brother had winked at you. Of course they had known all about it already, Baekhyun had probably asked them to help him out by keeping you company during your first concert. It explained the way his mother had been looking at you right before you had gone on stage, she had known all along. “___________, are you okay honey?” She asked, noticing that you had become a little bit silent as the lights went back on, letting everyone know that the concert was over. It had been amazing, but you hadn’t really been able to focus on the rest of it anymore after you had been proposed to. It seemed as if you were in some kind of shock, and you still weren’t able to give it a place. The ring around your finger proved to you that all of this was real, otherwise you were sure you would have been convinced that all of this had been a dream. But it was true, your best friend had asked you to marry him and you had said yes. How was it that you hadn’t seen this coming at all? “Yes, I’m fine! Just a little bit…Overwhelmed.” You said, smiling at her as you stood up from your seat, ready to go backstage where all of you had been invited. You had no idea why but you were incredibly nervous as you thought about meeting him. s would probably be excited, it was so sweet how they had helped him out by arranging all of this. But you had just been proposed to on a stage and had been stared at by thousands of people, was it weird that you were feeling a little bit weird? Instead of saying anything to you she just smiled and nodded, but you were glad she was staying silent. It gave you the moment to clear your head and order your thoughts while walking through the halls, squeezing your eyes together as the bright white lights fell down on top of you. You had never been in their dressing rooms before, you had no idea what their backstage looked like, but you noticed that you were kind of curious. No matter what had happened, you were still a big fan of his work and you still wanted to know everything about it. “Congratulations! You’re one lucky girl!” One of the staff workers said to you as you walked by and you nodded softly at him, feeling how your head became red. To be honest the comment made you want to turn around and run away. All this attention was making you feel so uncomfortable, you didn’t know what to do with yourself. “Just ignore them ___________, they’re all idiots.” Baek Beom said and you smiled at him, knowing that he could probably see that you felt uneasy and that he had to stand up fro you. To be honest you couldn’t have imagined yourself a better family in law than them, that was a very big benefit

Eventually you all reached the dressing room and you were a little bit lost when all of a sudden the Byun family left you by yourself, telling you that you should probably look for their lost son while they went to get something to eat. They had probably done this so many times before, besides, they probably knew that you needed a moment alone with Baekhyun, to talk about things. It was so weird, you had just been friends an hour ago, you had never kisses, had never said that you loved each other, but still you were engaged to him. Wasn’t all of this going too fast? Maybe the two of you had to take it easy and had to take a step back? But was that really what you wanted? You had felt so happy at the moment that he had asked you to marry him, you were sure that your answer still would have been the same if you could turn back time. Didn’t that meant that you had made the right decision and that you should marry him? To your surprise the door opened in front of you and you got a little startled as DO stuck his head through the door crack and stared at you. “___________! Hi! We were waiting for you!” The boy was grinning so hard that you were afraid he would hurt his face if he would keep on smiling like that. You blinked your eyes at him, too shocked to say anything and he quickly seemed to notice your awkward mood, because he chuckled cutely. He stepped aside, opening the door for you so that you could come inside of the room. “The others already left, we wanted to give you guys some alone time, so you can talk about things.” He explained and you nodded, mumbling a small thank you as you walked past him and entered the room. It was a mess in there, water bottles were spread all over the place, the room was filled with clothing and shoes and here and there were laying towels which were probably covered with sweat at the moment.
