The ticket felt very heavy inside of your hands, though it was just a very light piece of paper. Ever since you had known that you were going to his concert you had been feeling a little bit nervous, but the past few week had been horrible. You had counted the days, drawing red circles around the days that had already passed. Since the two of you had been friends for such a long time you were really looking forward to this and even though you had known each other for so long it was the first time you were actually going to one of his concerts. He had always asked you not to come, because he didn’t think it was safe for you to be in such a big crowd and because he was scared that he would mess up and you would be there. But to your surprise he had asked you to come, he had bought you the ticket himself so you hadn’t been able to refuse. You didn’t know much about today’s events, the only thing you knew was that his family was also going and that he had given you a seat right next to his mom. She was a lovely lady, you really liked her and she liked you too because she knew how important you were to her son. Baekhyun’s friendship meant a lot to you and you were so glad that things hadn’t changed between the two of you since he had become famous. For a while you had been afraid that he would forget about you now that he had his new band members, but you had soon put yourself over that. Though you didn’t see him as often anymore as you had done before, he still called you and he texted you every day. It was weird, but for one reason or another you felt as if you were closer with him now that he wasn’t around as much.

With your eyes darting around you bounced up and down on your toes, making sure you wouldn’t miss the sight of his family as they passed you by. The last thing you wanted was to go in all by yourself because you didn’t like it to be alone with these many people around you. The sphere that was going on around the arena was contagious, it was so bright and you could tell that people were almost dying form excitement. Everyone was so happy that they finally got the chance to see their biggest idols in real life, to hear them sing live. Maybe a few of them noticed you when they walked past you, but you ignored everyone that looked you way. It didn't take long before Baek Beom appeared in your sight and you smiled at him, bringing your hands up above your head and waving. When his eyes finally landed on you he nudged his father, who complained about it before his son motioned to you. They changed direction and began to walk over to you, zigzagging in between the people before they reached you. Since you and Baekhyun didn’t see each other that often anymore it had been a while since you had last seen them, but things hadn’t really changed. “Hey, little one.” Baek Beom teased with a big grin on his face, lifting his hand to your head so that he could ruffle your hear. You huffed in annoyance, blowing up your cheeks as you looked at him. His wife smiled at you, one of those heart warming ones that suited her personality. She was always so nice to you, defending you if her husband was messing around with you. The Byun brothers were both very playful, that was the first thing you had noticed when you had met the both of them. Though Baekhyun could complain about his brother sometimes, they got along well and you were sure that they wouldn’t be able to live without each other.

“____________, sweetheart, how are you?” Missis Byun walked over to you and you didn’t fight her as she pulled you towards her and wrapped her arms around you for a short but strong hug. It was weird to be this close to her while her son wasn’t actually here with you, normally he was there when you met up with his parents. “Good, excited.” You said and smiled at her before tilting your head to look at the big building in front of you. The thought that you would be in there and that you would be surrounded by thousands of other people who were there to watch your best friend was making your heart rumble inside of your chest. EXO had so many fans, which they deserved since they were very talented guys. Sometimes it was still a strange thought and hard for you to believe that you were friends with a person who got admired by so many others. You couldn’t deny that you admired him as well, you thought that Baekhyun was an amazing singer and that he deserved everything of what had happened to him in the past few years. He should be famous, because is voice was so special and beautiful that it would be a shame if it would have stayed unnoticed. There had been a time that you had had a crush on Baekhyun, just because of how handsome and great he was. He was that one person who laughed at you when you fell face down on the ground but who would rush right over if he realized that you had gotten hurt. He was always there for you, to make you happy if you were sad and to listen to all your problems while he had already enough of them himself. You had never told him of course, because you hadn’t wanted to ruin your amazing friendship. You would rather have him in your life as a friend than not have him at all.

After all, he was an idol, he couldn’t just date anyone he wanted. You were just a normal girl, you were average, though if you would tell this to him he would probably hit you, and tell you that you shouldn’t talk like that about yourself. He had a thing with telling you how much you meant to him, how important you were to him, that he wouldn’t know where he would be without you. Even though you had pushed your feelings for him to the background for a while now, when he said those things to you, you would still feel flustered. Sometimes he tempted to make it look as if he had feelings for you, but you knew that was just an illusion. Your eyes were making you see what you wanted to see, you shouldn’t look for anything behind it. “We should probably head inside, they’ll start soon.” Baek Beom muttered and you nodded, your eyes still pointed ahead of yourself. It was so weird to stand here right now, you had never thought that you would ever be here. You got a little startled as you felt someone grab a hold of your arm, but when you looked at Baekhyun’s mom you could only smile. Without complaining you let her drag you forward, so that you could keep on staring around yourself while she started a talk with you, goign on and on about how glad she was that you were with them and how excited Baekhyun would be to see all of you. All of this was so insanely surreal, just to see how many people had gathered together at one place, all for the same purpose. It was going to be a great night, you couldn’t wait until you would see him after it was over. How bad was it, the concert hadn’t even started yet and you were already thinking about the ending? They had given this concert at other placed before and you had heard others say that it was amazing, and you believed them.

A man dressed in a big orange coat scanned your ticket and by the way he looked at you, you were sure that he knew who you were and that he also recognized the people you were with, but you didn’t give that any attention. As soon as you walked inside you felt as if you were blown away, this place was even bigger than it had looked from the outside. “Honey, do you want something to eat or a drink?” Missis Byun asked and you shook your head, kindly refusing her generous offer. They were always so nice to you, sometimes it felt as if they were like your second family. She was always worried that you wouldn’t eat enough or that you wouldn’t take good care of yourself. How long had you known these people already? When she came back though she was holding up a package of candies and pushed it inside of your hands, not giving you the chance to return it to her. “You never know if you’ll get hungry during the show right? You should give yourself a treat every now and then ____________.” With that she giggled, almost as if she was talking to herself instead of you. You smiled at her and thanked her, still feeling a little bad because she had bought you something to eat. After everyone had everything they needed you all tried to find your way towards your seats. For a moment you could only look around yourself with your jaw dropped and you gazed up at the stage, seeing how close it was. You hadn’t know that he had given you seats so close to the front, but you immediately noticed that it was a lot calmer over here, that there weren’t as many people. Girls were screaming around you, testing out their lights and preparing the signs they had created to hold up during the concerts. “God, close your mouth ____________, you’ll catch flies. You really look like one of those girls who goes to a concer
